Stand Up and Scream

More girls than guys were at the meet and greet. Danny and Haley-Ray saw most of them were wearing less clothes than a girl should. Danny and Haley-Ray made comments about everyone in the room.

Danny was laughing at something what Haley-Ray said and all you could hear was her laughter as the band came in.

“What's so funny, Danny?” Matt asked.

Danny stopped laughing and looked in the direction of the band. She blushed and drank some of her beer.

A crowd formed around the band, fans asking for them to sign everything they had. Danny and Haley-Ray sat back, knowing that it would be hectic wanting to see the band while they have just walked in.

Jimmy came up behind the girls and leaned over the back.

“So, how did you find the show girls?”

“Amazing as always,” Danny said.

“Good, glad that you enjoyed it.”

Jimmy took Danny's beer from her and drank some.

“Hey! That's mine!” Danny whined.

“Tough,” Jimmy laughed. Danny pouted and looked at Haley's. Haley shook her head and let her drink some.

The crowd around the boys settled down and Haley grabbed Danny's hand. Haley dragged Danny to Zacky and they waited for him to stop talking to Johnny.

“And what could I do for you lovely ladies?”

“Could you sign my book? And whatever Danny has?” Haley asked shyly.

“'Course I will, Darlin',” Zacky said with a grin. Haley smiled back and got out her book that had different signatures in.

Zacky signed it and signed one of Danny's guitar picks and her book as well. Johnny did the
same, also signing a pick that Danny had.

“And what do we have here?” Syn asked as he came behind the girls. “And it's the girls that were backstage.”

“Yeah, good show guys.” Haley said as she politely passed her book to Syn.

“Thanks. Danny, right?” Danny nodded her head. “where did you learn to play guitar like that?”

“Internet. My Mom and Dad didn't want me to learn guitar so I taught myself.” Danny said while passing her book over to him.

He nodded and passed her book back to her.

Haley was stuck talking to Zacky and Johnny whereas Danny was talking to Syn. Matt and Jimmy having a completely different conversation.

“You have everything we need?”

“Of course I do Shadz, why wouldn't I?” Jimmy asked while looking at Dannielynn.

“You know why I hate doing this part, Rev.”

“I know, just put your past behind you. Val isn't back and she won't be coming back.”

Matt sighed and looked over at Brian. Brian made eye contact and smirked, knowing what Jimmy and Matt were talking about.

“Danny, we gotta go. We have work tomorrow.” Haley said while hugging Zacky.

Danny and Haley hugged the band and said their goodbyes. Not long after Danny and Haley left the other fans did. The band plus Matt and Jason Berry made their way on to the tour bus and sat around the small table.

“We know a lot about them, we just need everything else to fit in place.” Matt said as he took a sip of his beer.

“How about we do another contest? We have to make sure they enter though, or at least one of them do.” Brian said while looking at the others.

“That could work,” agreed Matt.

“On the other hand, you and Haley-Ray were getting close.” Johnny said while looking over at Zacky.

“That's the act, isn't it? Think about it Christ... we win these girls over and they will bend over backwards for us.”

They guys started to laugh, knowing that it was probably true. They all drank some more beer before all of them headed to bed, knowing that the next few weeks were going to be hectic.

Danny!Get. Your. Ass. Up!” Haley shouted while trying to pull Danny's covers off her.

“Fuck you!” Danny mumbled as she turned over.

“We have work and you know that we have to open up.” Haley said while sitting on Danny's bed. “C'mon, you go and have a shower and I'll make breakfast.”

Danny sighed and got out of bed. Haley smiled as she heard the shower turn on and started to make breakfast.

Danny came into the kitchen all fresh and dry half an hour later. They both ate their
pancakes and got all their stuff into their bags. Haley locked up and they both got into her
car.

“Last night was amazing,” Danny said as she looked at the time. “It's only 7, why so we have to go now?”

“I said before and didn't Charlie tell you? He wants us to open up.”

Danny shook her head and was silent for the rest of the journey to the mall. Haley listened to the radio as she saw Danny lean against the window.

“C'mon Danny. It's not that bad. We're here now, it won't take long to open up.” Haley said as she got out of her car.

“Easy for you to say,” Danny muttered.

“You need to be more of a morning person.”

“I am, when I'm in bed and when I don't get distracted for my sleep.”

Haley chuckled and shook her head. She opened up the shop and they both signed in.

“Danny, go get changed and do your make up. That should wake you up.”

Danny made her way into the staff area and done as she was told. Once Danny came out in black skinny jeans and a black top saying 'STAFF', she was ready.

“That wasn't so hard, was it?”

Danny shook her head and started to fold some T-shirts that were laying about.

“Haley, when are the others coming in?”

“In half an hour. Why?”

“Just wondering. Is Charlie coming in?”

“Yeah, staff meeting.”

Danny nodded her head and cleared some of the shop. Gradually more staff came in as the half an hour ticked on. Danny had a redbull in her hand as he manager came in.

“Dannielynn, why do you always drink inside the store?”

“Because I don't have time at home?”

Charlie shook her off and made his way into his office. The staff followed him and they stood around his desk.

“Right, now as most of you know famous people come into the store every week. We got an e-mail from Good Charlotte saying that they want to check out our store, so I want Dannielynn and Haley-Ray on the till when they do come in, everyone else make sure that no fans come in and harass them.”

Everyone nodded and left Charlie's office.

“Haley, Good Charlotte are going to be here! Today!” squealed Danny.

Haley laughed at her friend and nodded her head.

“I know they are, I was in that meeting you now!”

Danny skipped all the way to the tills with her redbull in her hand.

“Is she always like this?” Charlie asked Haley as he walked out of his office.

“With energy drinks, yes.” Haley said while watching Danny sit in the tills talking to Tyler.

“Make sure she doesn't go too crazy,”

Haley nodded her head and went over to them.

“Hi Tyler,”

“Hey, I was just talking about the concert last night to Danny.”

“You were there!?”

“Yeah, but I was in the sitting seats. Danny did really good last night and she did Seize the Day.”

“Well it is my favourite song by Avenged!”

“I know, you always blast it when I come into work,” Tyler chuckled. “Well, it looks like the day is starting.” Tyler said as early customers came into the store. “Catch you two later.”

Danny and Haley said bye to the brown haired boy and stood behind the tills. They both talked about how excited they were and who was going to come from Good Charlotte.
It was noon and Danny was sitting on the counter with Haley in front of her.

“You should dye your hair.” Haley suddenly said.

“Why?”

“I dunno, I think it would look nice if you at least got it dip-dyed.”

“Haley, do you not love me blonde anymore? I'm just gonna cry in the corner.

“Don't do that, otherwise we couldn't pay for these.” a male voice said near them.

Danny and Haley looked over and saw that Joel and Bill from Good Charlotte were there.
Danny hopped off the counter and blushed. She scanned all of the items that Billy had and packed for him.

“Not to be noisy or anything, but why pick this store when there are other stores to pick?” Danny asked while looking at the two of them. Haley nudged her in the ribs and glared.

“Because we know that this store's staff doesn't go as crazy as the others when famous people show up, plus the guys from Avenged Sevenfold said that this store was great for the stuff we need.” Joel said as he paid Haley.

Danny nodded and looked at Haley. Haley just looked at Danny then laughed.

“You two shouldn't be here because of us, we are more fans than the others.” Haley said.

“Well, it doesn't look like you two have pulled us towards you or anything like that. We usually get that everywhere we go.” Billy said as he looked around.

“Well it was nice having a decent conversation with some fans, but we have to run.” Joel said as his looked at his phone. “Our manager wants us at the studio. Nice meeting you, hopefully you could come to our concert one time. And we know what amazing skills you have because there is a video of you on YouTube last night.”

Danny blushed again and waved bye to them. Haley laughed at Danny and clocked out to get some food.

“Taco Bell okay for lunch?”

Danny nodded her head and went on her own break. Tyler took over the tills while Danny went outside the mall for a smoke. She found a corner and sat down on the wall. She gout out her ten pack of Marlboro. She light the end and sighed deep as she breathed in deep and the toxic smoke filled her lungs.

“Can I use your lighter, please?” a familiar voice asked.

Danny nodded then looked up. Her eyes widened and she choked on the smoke.

“Fuck, are you alright?” Brian asked.

“Yeah, you just surprised me.” Danny said as she calmed down her breathing.

“I do that, a lot.” he said while winking.

Brian used Danny's lighter and passed it back to her. Danny pocketed it and looked over at him.

“No offence or anything, but why are you here?”

“I'm here with the guys. Last night was our last show because we're in California. We always end our tours here, if we're in America anyway.” Danny nodded her head.

“Where are the guys then?”

“Jimmy dragged them all to Taco Bell,” Danny frowned, that's where Haley was.

“Haley is gonna have a great time in there then,” Danny murmured.

“Why?”

“She's in there getting our lunch.”

Brian nodded his head and got out his phone. A moment later it went off and Brian smiled.

“Looks like Haley-Ray is going to be out here in a few seconds.” Brian said as he got up.
Danny put out her cig and looked at him confused.

“Why?”

“Turn around,”

Danny turned around and saw Haley with the guys, her and Zacky holding Taco Bell bags. Danny grabbed her stuff off Haley and sat back down on the wall.

“Fancy seeing you two here,” Matt said as he looked at Danny.

“We work at one of the store's.” Danny said while taking a bite from her steak taco.

“Looks like someone appreciates the steak taco like you do, Jimmy.” Brian as as he put our his own cig.

Jimmy looked up and smiled at Danny. She smiled back and took a sip from her sprite. The seven of them all talked about anything and nothing. Once they were done, the girls stood up.

“We have to go back to work now,” Haley-Ray said as she put all of the trash in the trashcan.

“What time do you finish?” Jimmy asked.

“In two hours,” Danny said. “Why?”

“Well, I was thinking, I it's alright with you and the rest of you guys, hat we could see each other again.”

“I don't know,” Danny said.

“C'mon, it'll be fun!” Brian said.

Haley looked over at Danny and shrugged. Danny nodded her head and gave Jimmy her number.

The girls walked back to the mall and waved to the guys.

“I don't trust them, Hals.” Danny said when she thought that they couldn't hear them.

“I know you don't.”

“Well they shouldn't.” Matt said as he faced the guys with matching grins. “Part one complete. All we need to do now is put that competition up and make sure that they enter. The rest will fall in.”

Matt laughed and walked to his car. Jimmy looked at the girls were heading and smiled. He walked to the car and sat in the back, leaning on Zacky.
