**Kaylyn's POV**

"I'll see you in the morning when you can think straight" I state coldly before grabbing my cell phone and slamming the door in Brian's very shocked and confused face.

I frantically search for my room key while gripping the towel tighter so people making their way passed me in the hallway don't get a free peep show...let's face it, hotel towels are NOT that big.

I begin panicking while recalling the last time I remember having it...I knocked on Brian's door with the key card on my hand, the drug dealer answered, Brian stumbled in and passed out, I ran in and the dealer ran out, I laid the card down on grabbed my phone to call Jimmy...and... and I never fucking picked it up off the floor!

No! There is no way that I'm knocking on his door to get it, so I can give him another chance to make another impaired judgement pass at me...I have feelings too, and I already compromised them by coming to Las Vegas to find him.

I peak down the hallways looking for a housekeeper, but I don't see anyone, so I shuffle quickly into the vending machine/ice maker area next to my suite and grab my phone.

Hopefully Jimmy's plane landed since it's not that long of a flight from Orange County to Vegas. I quickly dial his number but it goes straight to voicemail...

"Hey Jimmy, it's Kaylyn. When you land could you please give me a call...I need to ask you for a huge favor, so please don't laugh. By the way, Brian is awake and he's at the Belliago. Call me when you get this. Thanks"

I end the call and huddle down next to the vending machine, attempting to stay out of sight and drape my frigid, soaked dress over the ice machine and pray it dries quickly. My cell phone starts to ring and I sigh out in relief, until I see the caller ID, Alex.

I hit the answer button but don't say a word, "Hello? Kaylyn?!" he asks in a worried tone and my heart aches in my chest. God, hasn't he caused me enough pain?!

"What the fuck do you want Alex?" I growl as tears begin forming in my eyes...I can't believe I'm crying over him again!

He sighs deeply, "I wanted to say I'm sorry about our fallout...and that I miss you" he states and my blood begins to boil.

"Are you fucking kidding me?! I might have been stupid enough to open my heart to you once but I refuse to do it again!" I rage, before saying the one thing I know will make him leave me alone. "I met someone else, and he's made me feel more alive in the few days I've know him than you did over our entire relationship!"

He scoffs into the phone and I roll my eyes involuntarily...I should have figured that he would be a cocky son of a bitch. "Oh please, you actually expect me to believe you've fallen in love with someone who you've only know for a few days...and, that they mean more to you then I did?!" he state confidently.

I lean my head against the wall and try to control my confused emotions. Do I really feel more of a connection with Brian than I ever did with Alex or am I just saying it to make him jealous?

I can't help but let a smile form on my face, "Yes" I squeak before hanging up on Alex and releasing a ragged breath I didn't realize I was holding. My cell starts ringing again and I quickly answer it, assuming it's Alex phoning back to call me a liar. "Stop calling me, Alex! I meant it when I said I was falling for Brian" I huff and hear a loud gasp on the other end of the line.

Oh shit....that's not Alex!
