Zack’s P.O.V

“WHY ELLIE!” I yelled… my wife and son are both in Heaven and I am left once again not knowing anything at all. All of the sudden Christina walked into Matt’s and she came over and she sat down… how was she so calm?

“Zack sit down and listen to me” Christina said and I just stood there giving her a glare until she gave me her infamous death stare. I sat down quietly and she smiled right after my ass hit the couch cushion.

“Sarah ordered for Ellie to take Erin and Colby up there; it was for their safety. Unfortunately Erin will be coming home… without Colby and will not be permitted back into Heaven until this is over and done with… so you two better fix this and fast” She said and everyone just turned looking at her because nobody knew that she could be so stern because she was this beautiful and sweet girl.

“You were sent to be his guardian angel and yet you tell me that he is staying in Heaven! Do you realize that he is gonna age faster?” I asked and Ellie rolled her eyes.

“Ya know Erin said the exact same thing and I promised her that if this took too long that we would stop him from growing so that you had as much time before he full grew” Ellie said and I scoffed.

“You two sound like this is fucking easy” I said bitterly.

“Just shut up Zack; think of the fact that this is your son! I was sent to be his guardian angel which meant doing what was right for that little boy so that he could live a full and happy life and that is why I had Ellie do this and why Sarah gave me the orders and you know who gave Sarah the orders Zack????” Christina asked getting into evil sister mode.

“I don’t fucking know!” I yelled.

“JIMMY! He is still technically god and he fucking makes the rules and lays down the law! It was his decision to let Sarah go through with this so just fucking grow up and deal with it like a fucking father should” Christina yelled and the room went silent. I couldn’t believe that she had just told me that Jimmy did had made the orders… I got up and sighed and rubbed my face.

“Elle do you at least know when Erin will be back?” I asked and she gave me the look like I wasn’t supposed to know.

“Yeah I figured that I wasn’t allowed to know… I am gonna go find Jimmy and talk to him..” I said and walked out of Matt’s house. I walked over to Erin’s old house and went inside and Iz was sitting with Jimmy and he was rubbing her large stomach. Jimmy looked over and came and hugged me.

“Dude congrats!” I said and then he felt the dismay that I had with him right now.

“I know why you are here; Iz could you go over to Matt’s so that Zack and I can talk” Jimmy said to Izzy and she came over and kissed him and walked by me giving me the cold shoulder still from what I did to Erin. I shrugged it off because I wanted to hear what Jimmy had to say about Erin.

“Why Jim? Why didn’t you tell me that you were still giving orders… let alone the order that took both of my loves away?” I asked and he sat down and just stared at me for a moment. He sighed like this was the hardest thing to say.

“If you love Erin… you will get over this…you will realize that there is a lot on the line for her” He said and I just sat down in confusion. Yeah there was Colby to think about but she would tell me if there was something bigger going on.

“Nobody will tell me anything Jim… I need some sort of answers… I can’t stay like this or in the dark much longer” I said and he sat back rubbing his face and moving his leg nervous. He sat up again and I waited.

“Listen Zack; there are some things that Erin doesn’t even know… like the fact that her name has been on the death list for a long time… she is marked for this… her father told her that she may end up on the list… and after she died yeah it went away.. but shortly after the birth of Colby.. she moved further up the list” And just then I couldn’t breathe.. couldn’t think… couldn’t feel.

“So Erin has no knowledge of this” I asked.

“I am not allowed to tell her” He said.

“But you are god! You make the rules!” I shouted and packed a bag and left... I couldn't take this... I honestly just couldn't at the time. I sped off hoping to get some relief... This whole thing was fucking out of control... I just wanted my wife and my son and a happy life....
