Missing In Action

“Leana, your either coming or not. Now what's your answer?” Jimmy asked as he waited at the car.

“I don't see why you see her. It's been two months and she's not waking up anytime soon.”

“Leana, don't cause a seen. Are you coming yes or no?” Jimmy asked.

“Fine, I'll come.”

Leana huffed and got into Jimmy's car. Jimmy sighed and drove down to the hospital. Leana was silent all of the ride there and glared at Jimmy. Jimmy ignored her and kept on driving to the hospital.

“We're not gonna stay long, I just want to see how she is and everything.” Jimmy said as he intertwined his hand with Leana's.

“What are we doing after this?”

“Anything you want.”

Leana smiled and kissed his cheek. Jimmy wasn't expecting everyone to be in the waiting room, so when he got there he was confused.

“What's going on?” he asked.

“She woke up, about an hour ago.” Zacky said with a smile on his face.

Jimmy let go of Leana's hand and his eyes widened.

“No fucking way! Really?”

“Yeah. Matt's in there right now with his parents and Amy.” Zacky said as he nodded to the
door.

“That's amazing,” Jimmy said as he sat down.

Matt walked out with a smile on his face. He stood in front of the group and his smile grew.

“She can remember everything and stuff like that, but she's going to be okay. She obviously
needs help walking again but we can work on that. Elliot is going to be okay.”

Everyone smiled except Leana. Leana looked over at Jimmy and huffed. If she knew that
Elliot would wake up she wouldn't have came.

“The Doc said that you can all come in, as well.” Matt said as he walked back into Elliot's
room.

Everyone stood up and made their way into the hospital room. Jimmy got held back by
Leana as he was about to walk in.

“What's wrong?”

“Why do you care so much about her? She's just some seventeen year old to you.”

“Leana, it's not like that. Elliot is and will only be Matt's little sister in my eyes. You are the
one and only for me.” Jimmy said as he put an arm around her. “Let's go in then get out as
soon as we can, alright?”

Leana nodded her head and allowed Jimmy to lead her into the hospital room. Elliot was
sitting up with some machines still attached to her. Her skin was still pale but had some
colour to it. Amy was sitting on her left while her parents were on her right. Everyone else
stood around her.

“Nice to see that your awake, El.” Jimmy said as he stood at her bed.

Elliot just smiled and nodded her head. Leana glared at her and sat near the window.

“Well, the Doc said that you need to talk to the police tomorrow about what happened, then
you need to stay in here for a week and then you need physiotherapy.” Matt said.

Elliot nodded her head again and leaned more into the hospital bed. Somehow Jimmy got
dragged away with Brian and Zacky.

“You have some nerve to show Leana.” Brian said.

“I just wanted to check if Elliot was okay, that's all. I gave Leana the choice to come with me
or stay at home. She came with me.”

“But Jimmy, see it from us. If you brought Leana to see Elliot, when you and Elliot have had
a history, how does that seem? It looks like your rubbing it in Elliot's face that you have a
girlfriend.” Zacky said as he glared at the taller man.

“Guys, I just wanted to see if she's alright, honestly.” Jimmy said as he looked at his friends.

Brian looked over at Zacky and sighed.

“We, know that you wouldn't do anything like that again because hopefully you see that Elliot
is just a teenager with problems of her own.”

“Brian, I know.”

Brian nodded his head and the three of them went back into the hospital room. Leana went
straight to Jimmy and asked him if they could leave quietly. Jimmy nodded his head and said
goodbye to everyone.

One the inside Elliot was breaking, but she couldn't show that.
