Chapter 37
Previously
One the inside Elliot was breaking, but she couldn't show that.
Now
Two weeks passed, and that was a very long two weeks for Elliot. All she did was stay in the house doing work that the school had sent her. It was the last week of March, and for Elliot being herself she knew that it was nearly Hannah's birthday.
She sighed and looked at the work in front of her. It was too difficult for her to do, but that's
only because she's taken so much time off school. Her Mom didn't allow Hannah over and that was also a bad point.
Matt came in and sat next to Elliot.
“I'm going to go away for a bit.”
Elliot looked over at him and frowned.
“Why? Where are you going?”
“Touring, Hopeless Records has got us quite a few shows.”
Elliot looked away and nodded her head.
“What's wrong? I thought you'd be happy!” Matt said as he stood in front of her.
“I am happy for you but what if I need you?”
Matt sighed and just shook his head.
“Your seventeen now, you can look after yourself.”
Elliot scoffed and got up slowly. She walked out of the living room and went straight to her
room. She slammed the door shut and looked outside, a fire was going on in next door's
back garden. They were burning old stuff. Elliot sighed quietly and grabbed her phone. 6:29
PM.
A moment later her Dad came into the room.
“If your throwing fits like this that means you can go school in the morning.”
“Fuck you!” Elliot shouted as he closed the door.
Elliot clutched her knees to her chest and placed her head onto her knees. She sobbed for a
while, thinking on how her and Matt's relationship has been split apart. Elliot went over to
her bed and decided to get some sleep for the morning, seeing as she didn't want to face
her Mom and Dad or Matt.
Morning
Elliot woke up at 6 AM. She showered and done all of her morning tasks and then got
dressed. She didn't go downstairs. She feared that her Mom or Dad or Matt was there.
Hannah would be dropping her off to school in her new car that she got.
“It's good to see you back.” Hannah said as they drove to school.
“It's good to be back.” Elliot mumbled as she looked out of the car window.
They both enjoyed the silence as Hannah drove them to school. The radio was on and was
playing Paranoid by Black Sabbath. Elliot tapped her fingers on her knees to the beat and sighed as Hannah drove into the school parking lot.
“You really don't know how happy I am to be here.” Elliot told Hannah.
Hannah laughed and linked arms with Elliot. They both walked to Hannah's locker and ignore all the stares that Elliot was getting. Elliot shifted as the whispers about her got louder but Hannah tried to distract her by telling her about what's gone on during the time she was gone.
Third period came quick for both girls. They both got their heads down with the work, Elliot
needing the teacher more than others.
A knock came at the door and Miss Portly went to open the door. She looked at the letter
that was given to her and frowned.
“Elliot, this is for you.” Miss Portly said as she handed Elliot the letter. “You can open it now.” she whispered.
Elliot nodded her head and opened the letter.
Oh Elliot,
Long time no hear. Cutting to the chase, well done on the text message to your ex best friend. You can now start to work with file two. This one might interest you seeing as it is someone you know.
You know my number, whenever you get your phone back I want you to text me.
Elliot folded the letter back up and put it in her bag. She sighed and looked around her.
Hopefully no one saw it. Elliot put up her hand and asked if she could go to the toilet. Granted her chance, Elliot took her bag to the toilets with her and sighed once again.
Elliot walked straight to the mirrors and looked at herself. She was slightly skinnier due to
the medication she was on. She was still pale but had some colour to her.
She placed her make up on again and walked back to Statistics, waiting for the end of the day, wanting to know what and who is file two.

P.S I edited this n the 28/03/15 at the beginning because I re-read whole story and it had been two months with Elliot in the coma, so now it's going to be Hannah's birthday, not Jimmy's
I liked it at first but honestly there`s too much drama.. No decent older brother, especially not Matt, would be this shitty to their sister.
