Missing In Action

All three of them sat in silence as people in white and blue clothing came in and out of the room.

Now

“What the-”

“Elliot Sanders! Don’t you dare finish that sentence!” Kim Sanders said as she looked at her youngest.

“Mom…where the Hell am I?”

Just then a doctor came in. He checked out Elliot and she suddenly realised where she was.

“Where are the guys?”

“Jimmy and Matt are sleeping in the corner. The others are on their way.” Kim said as she stroked her daughters hair.

Elliot tried to sit up but found out that she couldn’t. She gasped at the pain and fell back on her bed.

“Don’t move sweetie, you might have broken your ribs.”

A knock was made at the door and everyone walked in, Brian being the last. Elliot looked around the room and found Addie cuddled with Matt.

“When did Addie get here?” Elliot asked.

“She was here when I came in this morning.” Kim said. “Now, I’m going to have to go back to work, I’ll see you later. Phone me or your Dad if you need us.” she then kissed her daughters head and walked out of the room.

Brian looked over at Elliot and sighed.

“Elliot…I’m so sorry.”

“Brian, what made you do all of it?”

“I…I was fucked up.”

Elliot didn’t reply back and saw Jimmy start to wake. He smiled tiredly at her and saw the guys.

“You fucking owe us Brian,” Jimmy said as he glared at his friend.

“I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.”

“But it did. Elliot might not even forgive you for this!” Jimmy said as he walked over to Elliot.

“I’ve said I’m sorry.” Brian said as he tried to get Jimmy’s attention.

“Well sorry isn’t good enough!”

Jimmy sat down and held Elliot’s hand. She smiled a bit at him.

“Why are you defending me?” she asked quietly.

“Because I meant the things I said that night…not about the feelings just about you. You’re an amazing person Elliot, and I don’t want you hurt.”

Elliot just nodded her head and saw that Johnny was looking over at Brian. Johnny stood up and waked to Jimmy. Johnny whispered into Jimmy’s ear and made Jimmy let go of Elliot’s
hand. Inside Elliot felt rejected.

“Elliot, I’m gonna have to go. But I’ll be back soon. Don’t worry, baby Duck, just call me.”

Jimmy, Johnny and Brian left leaving Zacky, Matt and Addie with Elliot. Zacky sat where Jimmy was and looked over at Elliot with tears in his eyes.

“I can’t believe he did this to you.” Zacky whispered.

“Neither can I.” Elliot said as she looked at Zacky.

“It’s going to be okay now though. It’s all gonna be aright.” he said more to himself than Elliot.

“Zee…I-I-I don’t know what to do.” Elliot said, tears running down her face.

Zacky sat on her bed and held her to him as gently as he could. He tried to calm her down and lay on the bed with her. He stroked her hair and waited for news to come in from the doctors or nurses.

Matt and Addie both woke up when they heard a slam. They both looked around the room and noticed an angry Jimmy.

“Dude, what the fuck?” Matt said as he rubbed his eyes.

“On word: Brian.” Jimmy said. He looked over at the hospital bed and noticed Zacky asleep with Elliot. He smiled softly then remembered why he was here, most of all, why Elliot was here.

“Why? What happened with him?” Matt asked.

“He has to fuck up everything. Me, Johnny and Brian went out for a bit and it turns out Michelle
has found out some news. He’s been sleeping around. And that got into an argument which got into a fight between me, Johnny and Brian.”

“Who’s he been sleeping with? Anyone we know?” Jimmy nodded his head.

“Leana. That’s why she hasn’t been here.” Jimmy said as he sat down on a chair.

“Fucking Hell. Have you talked to her about it?”

“No, I will once Elliot is out of here though.” Jimmy said as he looked at Matt.

Half an hour later Dr Green came in with a few nurses.

“We need to wake Elliot up now. She going for an X-ray.” he said.

Matt nodded his head and woke Zacky and Elliot up. Zacky got off the bed and watched the nurses wheel Elliot out.

“If Mr Sanders could come with me,” Dr Green said as he waited for him at the door. Matt followed though and hoped that his sister would be alright.

Addie looked at Jimmy and Zacky and ran up to them. She buried herself into Zacky shirt and cried. Jimmy rubbing her back soothingly.

Matt came back with Elliot after all of her X-rays were done. He held his sisters and looked at Jimmy and Zacky. Addie sat next to her friend and tried to comfort herself along with Elliot.

“What’s the news?” Jimmy asked Matt.

“Brian broke two of her ribs, hence the bruising and swelling.”

“Anything else broken?” Zacky asked.

“Nope. Just a lot of bruising and two broken ribs. Hopefully she can come home tonight or
tomorrow.”
“Is she going to stay at your’s or your parents’?” Jimmy asked as he looked over his should to
see both of the girls on the bed.

“Probably my parents’. But I’m taking some time off from the studio, to make an effort to she her.” both of the guys nodded and walked back over to the girls.
