“I guess Elliot is good to go home now,” Dr Green said as Gary signed the discharge form.
Elliot smiled and held her brothers hand as their Dad wheeled her out from the hospital.
She had to stay over for another night for observation. Elliot also had to get a wheel chair as she couldn’t walk for a weeks.

Matt carefully placed Elliot in the car and folded the wheel chair up to put in the boot. The three of them sat in silence listening to the radio.

Once they made it back to the house Matt carried his sister in, letting their Dad grab the wheel chair. He set her down in her room and sat on her bed.

“Elliot…I’m sorry for everything that I did and for what I said. But with you being in hospital it made me realise that I actually need to see you most days. Can you life with your big brother again?” Matt asked as he looked at her.

“I missed you too, Matt.” Elliot said while hugging him. Matt relaxed into the hug and watched films with Elliot all day.

“Matt. Elliot. Wake up.”

“Whaa…” Matt said as he looked around him. Elliot was cuddled into his chest. Jimmy was next to him.

“Jimbo, what do you want?” Matt asked as he slowly sat up trying not to disturb Elliot.

“Your Mom and Dad want you both downstairs. And before you ask, they know I’m here.”

Jimmy then tried to wake Elliot up. As she opened her eyes she gave him the finger and held onto Matt. Matt laughed and pulled the blankets off her while Jimmy took away her pillow.

“Hey…I’m tryna sleep.”

“Mom and Dad want us,” Matt said as he picked her up. Elliot sighed and let her brother pick her up.

“Why are you here then?” she asked Jimmy.

“I was worried about you…” he said not looking at her. Elliot smiled and looked over at him. She laughed a bit and shook her had.

Matt placed Elliot down on the sofa and saw Amy and Dan talking quietly.

“Amy, Dan.” Matt said as he hugged his other sister and shook hands with Dan.

“How did the X-rays go? Mom and Dad haven’t said anything.”

“Amy, calm down, she’s gonna be fine. Just two broken ribs and some nasty bruises.” Matt looked over his should and saw Jimmy and Elliot talk to each other.

“Jimmy seems really worried,” Dan said as he followed Matt’s vision.

“He is. But he needs to worry about other things as well, but I suppose this is getting his mind off things.”

“Why?” Amy asked. “What’s happened?”

“Leana cheated on him with Brian.”

“Shit,” Dan swore as he looked back at Matt. Matt just nodded his head and waited for his Mom and Dad to come into the room. Once they did, everyone sat down.

“Seeing that Elliot got attacked by some stranger, someone is going to have to be with her at all times for the next few months.” Gary said as he looked over at Elliot, Kim holding his hand.

“Can’t one of the guys just do that?” Elliot asked.

“We were thinking that, but what happens when you go back to school?” her Mom asked.

“Well, one of us could drop her off?” Jimmy offered. Matt nodded along with Dan and Amy.

“And I wouldn’t mind picking her up.” Matt added.

“And Addie would be with me during school…” Elliot said.

Before anyone could say anything else the door bell rang. Mr Sanders got up and answered the door. A few seconds later Addie came in dragging Arin behind her.

“There she fucking is okay? She got attacked the other day, do you still not give one for what she has to say?” Addie exclaimed to Arin.

Arin looked over at Elliot and he truly looked sorry.

“Elliot…I was being childish. Maybe we could be friends again…?” Arin asked.

Elliot looked over at Addie and smiled. Elliot nodded her head and held her arms out. Arin smiled and walked over to her and hugged her gently.

He better not fucking hurt her…where the fuck did that come from? Jimmy though as Arin hugged Elliot.

Addie sat next to Matt while Arin sat next to Amy.

“Now that’s sorted, Arin and Addie can make sure nothing happens when Elliot is in school,” Mrs Sanders said. “And then when Elliot needs to go to school or needs picking up either Matt, Jimmy, Johnny, Zacky or Brian can do it.”

Elliot, Addie, Matt and Jimmy tensed at the last line. Elliot and Jimmy looked over at Matt. Matt shrugged his shoulders discreetly.

“But it might just be Jimmy or I,” Matt started. “Because of the things going on in their lives. Jimmy and myself don’t mind giving up something for El.”

“I’d do anything for her.” Jimmy said as he held her hand.

Elliot remembered the night they had. He did say that he would do anything.

Might be short but I wanted you guys to see that her parents know nothing about the attack. Once I've wrote Chapter 13 I shall post it, enjoy for now though. :).
