Fire Inside

So my eighteenth birthday is tomorrow but the guys were throwing me a party today then Matt said he was going to take me out somewhere really nice on my actual birthday. Right now Matt, Jimmy and I were down in the basement, they were fucking around on the piano and I was drawing them on a big canvas, I don’t think they knew because they were just acting like they always do which is how I wanted them but anyways, after a few hours I was finished and they were still fucking around so I decided to paint them with acrylics instead of water color.

I was zoned out and didn’t notice they moved and were standing behind me as I painted until I looked up to reference them ‘hey’ I whined and I heard them chuckle behind me making me jump and turn around ‘meanies’ I pouted and they both kissed my cheeks and smiled ‘were gonna get some lunch, do you want some?’ ‘What are you getting?’ ‘Probably Arby’s’ ‘ok, whatever you get is fine’ I said and he nodded then kissed me and left. I went back to what I was doing and was finished within about an hour then went upstairs and let it dry.

I grabbed a monster out of the fridge then walked into the living room to wait for the guys to come back with lunch, I put on Law and Order: SVU and sat back on the couch. They came back about half an hour later and we ate and watched tv together then Jimmy left to go set up for my party. ‘So, how many people are going to be at the party?’ I asked as I straddled Matt, he smiled and set his hands on my hips

‘probably a lot, you know we like throwing big parties’ he said and I sighed and rested my forehead on his chest ‘what's wrong?’ he asked as he ran his hands up my back slowly ‘I just don’t wanna hang out with anyone today, I wanna be with you’ I whispered and he lifted my chin up and kissed me softly ‘you’ll have me all day tomorrow, I promise’ he whispered and I nodded then kissed him again, he kissed back and smiled ‘go get ready, I'm gonna go to Jimmy’s and help set up’ he said and I nodded then stood up and went upstairs.

I got a shower then blow dried my hair, did my makeup and got dressed. I pulled on my shoes and coat and made sure I had my phone and ID then I left and walked down the street. There were cars lining the streets as I got up there, I sighed and walked up to the door and opened it to see lots of bodies ‘Devin!’ they all yelled, I smiled and waved then took of my coat and hung it up and put my phone in the waistband of my pants.

‘You're finally here!’ Jimmy yelled as he ran up to me and hugged me tight, I laughed and hugged back ‘where are the rest of the guys?’ ‘Somewhere around here’ he said and I nodded then asked where the drinks were, he pointed them out to me then ran away. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed some fruity vodka thing in a bottle then started walking around and talking to people.

When I finally saw Matt he was leaned up against the wall having a beer so I walked over and smiled at him ‘hey sexy, who are you here with tonight?’ I asked and he smirked at me ‘oh I don’t know, some girl, she’s very sexy’ ‘well I don’t see her around, why don’t we go have some fun?’ I asked as I walked closer to him and ran my hand down his chest

‘I don’t think my fiancé would like that very much’ ‘oh, well I talked to her earlier and she said it’s ok’ ‘well in that case’ he said and grabbed me around the waist and pulled me against his chest and kissed me, I kissed back and put my hand on the back of his neck ‘mmm you look very sexy’ he whispered once we pulled away ‘I thought you might like it’ I smirked and he nodded then kissed me again, I kissed back then pulled him over to where everyone was dancing and started grinding on him as he held my hips.

After about an hour or so I was told to come into the kitchen so I did, pulling Matt along with me and I saw everyone standing around a big birthday cake ‘oh you guys’ I smiled and they all smiled back then sung me happy birthday, I laughed and blew out my eighteen candles then thanked everyone and started handing out cake to everyone, it was chocolate on chocolate, my favorite!

Anyways, everyone got me presents or cards but they were put into a few bags and I was told to open them tomorrow because it was my actual birthday so I made Matt take them out to the car, he did and I started hugging and thanking everyone for coming and all that jazz. ‘alright guys, thank you so much for coming but it’s like one am and I’m about to pass out’ I chuckled and they laughed, Matt hugged and said bye to everyone then we went home.

The next morning I woke up to Matt rubbing my back softly ‘morning’ I whispered and I felt him pull me closer and wrap his arm around my waist tightly ‘morning, happy birthday’ he whispered as he kissed my shoulder softly, I smiled and turned onto my back ‘thank you’ ‘mhm, I'm gonna go make you breakfast’ ‘are you sure?’ ‘Well, maybe I’ll go get you breakfast, what do you feel like eating?’

‘mm I don’t know yet, you know I have to wait like an hour’ ‘I know, just curious’ he said and I nodded then leaned up and kissed him, he kissed back and I smiled then sat up and stretched a little ‘I do want some coffee though’ ‘that I can do’ he said as he sat up also, I nodded and leaned over to kiss him again, he kissed back then got up and went to put the coffee on.

I walked into the bathroom to use it and brush my teeth then I threw my hair up in a messy bun and walked downstairs so see Matt watching tv while the coffee brewed. I sat next to him and cuddled into his chest; he wrapped his arm around my waist and held me tight against him. ‘I’m cold’ I whispered,

he nodded and got up to grab a big fleece blanket out of the closet then he handed it to me and went to get our coffees. I unfolded the blanket and then laid it across myself and set my feet on the coffee table, Matt came back in and handed me my coffee then sat next to me, I gave him some of the blanket then leaned against his chest.

We watched tv for a little while and then I was hungry ‘ok what do you want?’ ‘I kinda want McDonalds’ I said and he nodded then slipped his shoes on ‘can I go?’ ‘of course, I'm just going through drive through’ he said and I nodded then stood up, turned the tv off and slipped on a sweater and some shoes, Matt put his hoodie on then we left.

We got to McDonalds and drove up to the menu thing and we both got the big breakfast with pancakes and we each got an iced mocha coffee. Matt handed me the food and I set it on my lap then he put the drinks in the cup holders because they were cold and then we went home.

When we got there we ate and drank in the living room then sat around all day and didn’t really do anything because I just wanted to be close to him all day. ‘Ok, we have to leave by five’ he said as he looked at the time on the cable box, it said three ‘Ok, I guess that means I should get ready?’ ‘Yeah, I have to call and make sure everything’s good then shower and stuff’ ‘what if I wanted to shower with you?’ I asked and he smiled down at me ‘let me call and I’ll be up in a minute’ he said, I nodded and kissed him then went upstairs and turned the shower on and got undressed.

I felt hands on my hips and smiled as I leaned against Matt and looked up at him, he smiled down at me and kissed my forehead ‘come on’ he whispered, I nodded and he helped me into the shower then got in behind me. We just talked and washed ourselves, nothing happened except for a little make out session but I knew we had to get ready so we didn’t do anything much to our disappointment, we got out and dried off, he pulled on boxers as I pulled on a black bra and thong, a garter belt and some fishnets. I walked back into the bathroom and put on some eyeliner and mascara then took my hair down and brushed it out, it was getting long, I think it’s time for a haircut.

‘God you're beautiful’ I heard Matt whisper, I looked over and saw him leaning against the bathroom door in nice black dress pants and a black button up shirt in his hand, I blushed a little and he walked over to me placing his hands on my waist ‘I love you’ he whispered, I smiled and leaned up on my tippy toes to kiss him, he kissed back and pulled me tight against him ‘I love you too Mr. Sanders’ I whispered back, he chuckled a little and kissed my forehead then pulled away and slipped his shirt on.

I smiled and buttoned it for him then rolled his sleeves up nicely ‘thank you baby’ ‘you're welcome sweets’ I giggled then walked into the room and over to the closet, Matt sat on the bed and pulled on his shoes then watched as I held up different dresses in the mirror ‘I like that one’ Matt said when I held up a black long sleeve dress ‘yeah?’ I asked as I looked it over in the mirror then looked at him, he nodded and I shrugged then pulled it on and had him zip me up. I pulled on some boots then switched my bag, I grabbed a nice coat out of the closet and pulled it on and was ready to go.

I felt like we were driving forever but it was only an hour, we pulled into a parking lot and parked in front of this big building ‘what’s this?’ ‘you’ll see’ he said with a little smile, I just kinda looked at him then got out of the car and he walked inside after he offered me his arm, which I took of course.

When we walked into this huge building a thought I was going to die, it was an art gallery full of beautiful pieces and statues and sculptures ‘Matthew’ I whispered as I looked around then looked up at him, he was smiling down at me ‘like it?’ ‘Oh my god yes, how did you find this place?’ ‘Google’ he said and I laughed at him, he smiled and kissed the side of my head then took me around room to room.

When we got to the room with all the paintings I took my time looking at them, I moved to the other wall and gasped ‘Matthew’ I said as I grabbed his arm tightly ‘yes baby?’ ‘W-why is my art on that wall?’ ‘Because, I came in with one of your paintings one day and showed it to the director and he loved it so he put it up’ ‘why didn’t you tell me?’ ‘It wouldn’t have been a surprise if I told you’ he smiled and I smiled back then wrapped my arms around his neck in a hug, he hugged back and lifted me off my feet a little

‘I see you told her’ I heard and I turned around to see the director standing there smiling at us ‘Hello, I'm Ryan, I'm the director here’ he said nicely as he held his hand out, I smiled and shook his hand ‘I'm Devin’ ‘I know, you're fiancé here didn’t shut up about you’ he said and I blushed a little ‘he didn’t threaten you did he?’ I asked and they both laughed a little ‘no no, I really do love your art, he showed me pictures of what you did a few weeks ago at Christmas’ he said and I looked back at Matt ‘when in the hell did you have time to come here’

‘The day you and Zack hung out, I told him to keep you occupied’ ‘oh, well it worked’ I laughed then turned back to Ryan, he was smiling at us ‘so, how would you like to put up more of your work?’ ‘oh I don’t know, it’s not very cheerful and I have separation anxiety about that, the only reason I didn’t freak out about this is because I didn’t know it was here, I thought it was out getting framed’ I said as I turned to glare playfully at Matt, he smiled big and stuck his hands in his pockets

‘Well you would be able to see it anytime you want, unless someone bought it of course’ ‘bought?’ ‘Mhm, don’t you want to sell them?’ ‘Oh, I uh never really thought about that, I just draw them for fun’ ‘well, I think you're an amazing artist and think you should put your art in here but it’s totally up to you. When I buy art from you to put in here the amount you get will differ in the size of canvas and what medium you use. Oil paintings usually go for the most, than acrylic and then water color. If it’s just like pencil, pen, markers things like that we usually have them up front in the entrance to tempt customers to come look at the rest of the work’ Ryan explained as we walked around the rest of the room, I looked up at Matt and he nodded with a little smile

‘Alright, I guess I can try it’ I said and Ryan smiled ‘great! I can’t wait to see what you have to bring me next and I will definitely call you if your painting gets sold or just to set up a time where I can view some of your other work?’ ‘Oh ok, yeah, that’s great. Do you have my number or do you need it?’ ‘Oh you're fiancé gave it to me when he gave me the painting but I wasn’t allowed to call you because I’d give away the surprise’ he said and I nodded then smiled a little ‘well, I’ll be excited to hear from you’ ‘yeah you too’ he nodded, we shook hands again, he shook Matt’s hand and then he walked away.

I looked up at Matt with disbelief on my face ‘could you be any more perfect?’ ‘We haven’t been to diner yet’ he said and I just shook my head and smiled at him ‘come on, we have to be there soon’ he said as he looked at his phone then held his hand out to me, I took it and we walked back out to the car and drove over to a beach side restaurant,

he told them the name and they took us back right away to a table that was surrounded by candles, we sat down and I just couldn’t believe that this was actually happening ‘please tell me this isn’t a dream’ I whispered to Matt, he smiled and leaned over the table to kiss me, I kissed back and smiled as he sat down ‘it’s not, I promise’ he whispered back, I nodded then looked down at my menu.

We had an amazing dinner with wine and everything, we headed home after and I just couldn’t believe it still. When we walked in the door I stripped off my coat then headed upstairs ‘where are you going?’ ‘to strip, are you gonna help me?’ I called and I heard his heavy footsteps come running up behind me on the steps. We got into our room and I hung up my coat, put my bag down then took my boots off ‘god that’s better’ I sighed as I got back to my normal height, I walked out of the closet and into the room to see Matt took his shoes off and was unbuttoning his shirt

‘Hey, can you help me with this?’ I asked as I walked over to him and turned around, I could feel his warm hands run over my shoulders then down my back as he unzipped my dress. Once it hit the floor I turned around and helped unbutton the rest of Matt’s shirt then his pants as I bit my lip, I looked up at him and he was smiling then he let his pants fall and he pulled me onto the bed and got on top of me, we kissed heatedly then began making out and making love, no fucking this time, just lots of love.

When we finished I was cuddled into Matt’s chest and looking up at him as his arm was wrapped around me ‘did you have a good birthday?’ ‘It was amazing, thank you sooo much baby’ ‘you're welcome, you deserve it’ ‘I love you’ ‘I love you to, let’s get some sleep ok?’ ‘Ok’ I nodded then leaned up and kissed him a few times then turned on my side and Matt held me close as we fell asleep.
