I woke up the next morning around 8 I guess and looked over to see Michelle was already up and out of bed so I stood up and walked into the bathroom to do my business, I washed my hands, brushed my teeth then walked out and over to Abby’s room, I listened for a minute then opened the door and saw that she was still asleep so I walked over to the bed and sat on the side of it. I ran my fingertips over her face softly, pushing away some of her hair ‘Abby, sweetheart?’ I whispered and shook her a little, she moved but didn’t open her eyes ‘baby, it’s time to get up’

‘noooo’ she whined and I smiled then leaned in and kissed her nose, when I pulled away there was a little smile on her perfect lips ‘come on, you have a lot to do today’ I whispered and she cracked her eyes open and looked over at me ‘you go do it’ she whined and I laughed a little then brushed some more hair out of her face ‘you have to do it baby, I have to go meet with your uncles and talk about tour’ I said and she looked confused ‘it’s when we leave and go on the road to other cities around the states’ ‘you're leaving me?’ ‘well, not if you wanna come with me’ I said and she nodded then sat up on her elbows and looked at me

‘daddy?’ ‘yes baby?’ ‘I don’t wanna go shopping with Michelle’ she whispered and I tilted my head a little ‘why not baby?’ ‘I don’t know, I just, have this weird feeling’ she said and looked away and out the window, I sighed softly and moved her head a little to look at me ‘what kind of feeling?’ ‘nothing, just forget it’ ‘no baby, I wanna know’ I said and she looked away again for a second then back at me.

She sat up all the way and grabbed my hand, she ran her soft fingers over my palm and looked into my eyes ‘I think she’s cheating on you’ she whispered and I pulled my hand away and stood up ‘why would you say something like that?’ I said a little harshly, she looked down at her hands but didn’t say anything ‘forget it, just, go so I can get ready please’ she whispered again, I just stood there, not moving.

‘Brian!’ I heard being yelled from downstairs, it was Matt’s voice ‘coming!’ I yelled back but didn’t take my eyes off of Abby ‘just go’ ‘fine, but were talking about this later’ I said, she nodded and I walked into my room to get dressed and go downstairs. ‘hey man what's up?’ Matt said once I walked into the kitchen, I looked around for Michelle but I didn’t see her ‘we need to talk in the car’ I said then pulled him out the door and over to his car. We got in and started driving to where we were meeting the guys and our manager for breakfast

‘Abby said that she thinks Michelle’s cheating on me’ I said and Matt looked over at me with a worried face ‘why would she say that?’ ‘I don’t know man, she said that she didn’t wanna go shopping with her today and when I asked why she just said that she had a feeling that she was cheating on me’ I said and he looked over at me as we stopped at a light. ‘I don’t know what to sat to that’ ‘I don’t either man but I told her we would talk about it when I got back’ ‘good, see what her deal is’ ‘yeah’ I sighed as we pulled up to the Denny’s.

::Abby’s POV::

I got dressed in my same black jeans again because I didn’t have anything else and I pulled on a black tank top, my converses and I put my hair up in a ponytail then went downstairs and saw Michelle in the kitchen ‘hey, you ready to go?’ she asked and I nodded, she smiled and we walked out to the car and she drove us to the mall. I don’t know how long we were shopping but it finally ended after I got a phone.

We walked back into the house and I carried my four bags up to my room and started putting things away, then I played with my phone for a bit to figure it out because I’d never had one before. After that I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to get some water, Michelle wasn’t down there but her phone was on the counter so I checked real quick then went through it and I found that she was flirting and sending pictures to some guy named Mike.

I heard her coming down the steps so I fixed everything how it was and grabbed a water bottle right as she walked in ‘hey’ ‘hey’ ‘did you have fun today?’ ‘yeah, thank you for everything’ ‘no problem honey, I'm just glad that you're mine now’ she said and I raised an eyebrow at her as she came around the counter and stood in front of me ‘what do you mean?’ ‘oh you know what I mean, you're my daughter and I can do whatever I want to you’ she said sweetly then slapped me across the face with so much force her wedding ring cut my lip.

I grabbed my face and looked up at her with tears in my eyes ‘what? You're gonna cry now?’ ‘why did you do that?’ ‘because I can’ she shrugged then hit me again, and again until I was on the floor of the kitchen. ‘Michelle!?’ I heard Brian yell when he walked through the door ‘Bri! Oh thank god you're home!’ she said as she ran over to him and latched onto his arm ‘why what happened? Oh my god, Abby, baby are you ok?’ he asked as he ran over to me, I just nodded and tried sitting up a little ‘what happened?’ he asked again and I looked up into his eyes as my tears fell

‘ask your wife’ I choked out and he looked over at her ‘someone beat her up’ she said and I rolled my eyes ‘yeah you’ I said harshly and Brian looked down at me ‘Abby, why would you say that?’ ‘because it’s true, look at me, in my eyes. Am I lying?’ I whispered as I kept my eyes on his, he was searching mine for any trace of me lying but I knew he couldn’t find any. ‘explain, right now Michelle’ he said harshly as he picked me up to stand, I whimpered and leaned against him

‘but Bri, I didn’t do anything to her, why would I hurt her?’ ‘are you cheating on me?’ ‘what! Are you crazy?’ ‘answer me!’ he yelled and I whimpered again ‘I'm sorry baby, come on lets go upstairs’ he said and I nodded and he picked me up bridal style but turned around at the first step. ‘pack you're shit and stay somewhere else’ he said then carried me up to the hall bathroom.

::Syn’s POV::

I set Abby on the sink and looked at her cut lip and black eye ‘what happened sweetheart?’ I asked softly and she sniffled a little ‘I don’t know, everything was fine, we just got back from shopping and I went down to go get some water and I saw her phone on the counter. I know it’s wrong but I looked through it and found her texting and sending pictures to someone named Mike then she came in a few minutes after but didn’t catch me and she said that she was glad that I was her daughter now and that she could do whatever she wanted with me’ she said softly and I just nodded,

I was angry though ‘I know you probably don’t believe me, I mean, she is your wife and I'm just some girl that you adopted but I'm not lying, I swear’ she said again and I sighed softly and cleaned the blood from her lip ‘I know you're not lying baby’ I whispered and Abby grabbed my wrist and looked up at me a little ‘how?’ ‘I don’t know, I just know that you wouldn’t lie to me’ I said and she nodded. I kissed her nose softly and she smiled, I smiled back and ran my thumb over her lip ‘I'm gonna go see if Michelle is gone yet ok? Just stay here’ I said and she nodded then kissed my cheek softly, I kissed hers back and walked out and over to my bedroom.

I looked around and all the bitches things where gone so I checked the rest of the house and she was definitely gone. I walked back into the hall bathroom and Abby was standing in front of the mirror looking at her eye and pressing on it gently ‘don’t, it’ll hurt worse’ I said and she nodded then turned to me ‘she gone?’ ‘yeah, I don’t want you to worry about her anymore ok?’ ‘ok daddy’ she said and I smiled then walked over to her and hugged her shoulders, she hugged my waist tightly and nuzzled her face into my chest.

‘come on, I’ll go order us some pizza’ I said and Abby nodded, I smiled and pulled away from her only to pick her up and throw her over my shoulder making her laugh ‘daddy!’ she yelled and I just laughed and walked down the steps carefully and into the living room where I set her on the couch ‘now, what do you want on your pizza?’ ‘hmmm, whatever you order is fine as long as it’s nothing to gross’ ‘well, what do you like?’ ‘pepperoni’ ‘ok then that’s what I’ll get’ ‘what about you?’ she asked and I looked down at her and smiled ‘I like that to so don’t worry ok?’ I said and she nodded.

I walked into the kitchen to order but before I could there was a knock on the door ‘can you get that Abby?’ I yelled and she didn’t say anything so I guess she got up to open the door ‘hey man’ I heard and I looked over to see the guys standing there ‘hey guys, what's up?’ ‘what happened to Abby?’ Matt asked and I sighed ‘you're wife’s sister happened’ I said and he raised an eyebrow ‘Michelle did that to her?’

‘yup, and right before Abby found out she was cheating on me but that’s not why she hit her’ I said and he looked back into the living room where Abby was watching tv ‘do you want me to talk to her?’ ‘no I think she’ll be ok. She might be attached to me for a few days but she’ll be fine’ I said and he nodded ‘you guys want pizza?’ I asked and they looked at me like caged animals ‘I guess that’s a yes’ I chuckled and ordered three large pizzas then went back into the living room to see Abby all cuddled into Zack but once she saw me she stood up and walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist.

I smiled and kissed her head ‘wanna cuddle with me?’ I whispered and she nodded, I pulled her over to the oversized arm chair I had and I sat down then Abby sat on my lap and cuddled into my chest after putting a blanket over us. I smiled and kissed her head again then looked over to see the guys staring at me ‘what?’ I mouthed and Johnny held up his phone then texted me. I picked up my phone from the side table right next to me and read his text ‘she seems a little clingy, she ok?’

‘yeah she’s fine, I think she just wants someone to love on her, she’s had a pretty fucked up life’ ‘are you gonna tell us what happened?’ ‘if she lets me, it’s really bad and really fucked up. I'm surprised she even told me’ ‘oh shit’ ‘yeah I know’ I texted last then looked over at him as he read the text, he nodded and I nodded back then the doorbell rang

‘ok baby you gotta get up’ I said softly, she whined but moved a little so I could get up and get the pizza. ‘why don’t you go pick a movie?’ ‘ok daddy’ she nodded and we walked our different ways. Once I got everything in the kitchen I called the guys in ‘so what happened’ Johnny said and everyone looked at me, I sighed and looked over to see if Abby was near but she wasn’t

‘you guys can’t say a word to anyone, I mean it, not even your wives’ I whispered harshly, they nodded and leaned in close and I told them what happened ‘oh my god’ Zack whispered and I nodded ‘now you know why she clings to us, just let her ok? I think she just wants to know someone loves her’ ‘but we do love her’ Matt said and I nodded

‘I know you guys do, I'm just saying and don’t say anything’ I said and they nodded then Abby walked in ‘hey baby, I made you a plate’ ‘thanks daddy’ ‘you're welcome’ I smiled and she smiled back then we all went back into the living room ‘I hope this is ok’ she whispered and I picked up The Poseidon Adventure, the original by the way. I smiled and put it in the DVD player then sat back in the chair, Abby sat on my lap again and we all settled in, ate our pizza and watched the movie.
