*~*Zacky’s POV*~*

Matt left with Val an hour ago, the rest of us were loading up the boxes into the trailer while Lei settled for the night and Leana directed us where everything needed to go. Lifting and moving all of this merchandise gave me a new appreciation for all of the work Val did on her own all those years ago, and for the girls that were doing it now. It wasn’t as easy as it might have looked and there was 4 grown men doing it. Packing up the last box into the trailer, we started to take the tent down around Kamalei, sitting in the middle of it at the table counting the cash.

“Lei! Move!” Brian yelled as we started taking it down.

“No! I’m counting bitch! Don’t fuck me up.” She yelled back.

We all stopped taking down the tent going inside and standing around Kamalei and the table, waiting for her to finish. She looked up at us, scoffing before going back to counting. Johnny and Brian picked up the table as Jimmy and I picked up Lei in her chair and moved her and the table out of the way, setting her down next to the trailer. Her and Leana laughed as we set her down and went back to taking the tent down.

“So impatient…” Leana giggled.

“Right?! All because my brother’s not here and they want to party…” Lei said finishing up and closing up the cash box just as we finished putting the tent in the trailer.

“Who’s ready to party!?” Jimmy yelled as he grabbed Leana spinning her around.

“I hope you all remember Kelly is sick.” Kamalei said holding the cash box under her arm.

“Fuck.” Brian said kicking the gravel.

“Maybe she’s feeling better by now…” Johnny said hopeful as we walked back towards the bus.

We stepped onto the quiet bus, Kamalei heading to Val and Matt’s bunk, setting the cash box down inside and closing the curtain before turning around and peeking in the curtain at Kelly.

“Kell Bells… how you feeling babes?” She said sweetly as I made my way down the hall behind her.

“Ugh… better… I’m fuckin’ hungry. Did you bring me any food?” I heard Kelly weakly ask as she opened the curtain.

“No but we can get something for you. What do you want?” She asked her friend.

“Saimin.”

“Ok… I’ll check the cabinets. These guys probably have some I can make you…” Kamalei said before turning around to me, “Is there any saimin?”

“I have no idea.” I said throwing my hands up as she walked past, “I’ll help you look though and if not, we’ll go get her some.”

Kamalei went into the kitchen area and began digging thru the cabinets until she found one orange packet of Top Ramen.

“Bingo. It’s chicken but it’ll have to do.” She said as she started looking for something else, “Is there a glass measuring cup or something?”

“Yeah, let me get it.” I said reaching high up on the shelf and handing her a Pyrex measuring cup.

“Perfect.” She said tearing the packet of Top Ramen open and breaking it in half so it would fit inside, filling the cup with enough water to cover the hard noodles and sticking it in the microwave for a few minutes.

“I see you’ve done this before.” I said amazed at how she knew exactly what she was doing with so little ingredients.

“I’ve made it work with less…” She said as she opened the fridge and found some ham deli meat.

She cut some pieces up before digging thru the drawer finding 2 packets of soy sauce and tabasco. The microwave beeped and she grabbed the towel from the counter and carefully took out the noodles, now perfectly cooked in the water. She poured some of the water out and emptied the powder seasoning, soy sauce, and tabasco in, stirring it with a fork before tossing the deli meat and some black pepper inside too.

“Kelly come out here and eat.” She called out to her as she made Johnny get out of his seat at the table and set down the measuring cup meal.

Kelly sat at the table and took a strong whiff of the soup, smiling, “Mmmm… Saimin.”

“Wow… that smells and looks pretty damn good Lei.” Jimmy said sitting across from Kelly, already drinking a beer.

“Sorry Kell Bells, there’s no chili pepper water but I did find some tabasco.” She said as Kelly took a bite.

“Mm…it’s good anyways. You always know how to cook for me when I’m sick. Thanks Lei baby…” Kelly replied.

“Of course love.” Lei said as she made her way to the back room.

I couldn’t help but follow her back there, thinking I would change into more comfortable shoes. When I got back there she was lying on her stomach on the large bed, her head in her crossed arms face down into the mattress.

“Lei? You alright?” I asked her quietly.

She peered up at me, “Close the door please.”

I closed the door and sat softly next to her, “What’s wrong?”

She had her head turned towards me and opened her eyes letting a few tears escape when she spoke, “My back hurts. Like a lot.”

“Here, let me help you. Take this off.” I said helping her sit up and pull off her jacket, “Take this off too.” I said as she pulled off the crop top and I kicked off my shoes.

“Lie down, I’m gonna unhook this okay.” I told her as she laid down and I unhooked her bra, exposing her lightly tanned back.

I got some lotion out from my bag, climbing up on the bed on my knees, and began rubbing her back carefully, not wanting to hurt her.

“Mmm… Zacky that feels good… it hurts more lower down…” she said as I worked my way down her back.

I put my knees on either side of her legs as I rubbed my thumbs in circles lower and lower until they were in her perfect little back dimples. I closed my eyes and steadied my breath trying not to get aroused at the thought of holding her by those dimples and having hot sex with her over and over all night long.

“Zee?” She asked quietly shaking me from my thoughts.

“Yeah?”

“You okay?”

“Yeah, why?”

“You’re breathing funny.”

“Oh… sorry.” I said looking down at the bulge that seemed to have appeared as I was daydreaming.

I went back to rubbing her back and desperately trying to not think of what I would love to do to this gorgeous woman under me. As I massaged the more painful spots she would lightly moan which really wasn’t helping the growing erection.

“Zack… it hurts but it feels so good…” she moaned and I heard Brian and Johnny sniggering from the other side of the door.

“Fuck off guys!” I yelled at them as they opened the door.

“Oh…well, this wasn’t what I thought it was…” Johnny said laughing as he walked back down the hall.

“Like we would really be doing that right here and now?” Kamalei exclaimed.

“You could be… your brother does.” Brian said chuckling and walking away as Kamalei scrunched her face in disgust.

“Ew. So fucking ew.” She said before reaching behind her and clasping her bra, “Thank you Zee… It feels a lot better now.”

I got up from the bed and put the lotion back in my bag, adjusting my pants some to hide my excitement. Kamalei put her shirt back on and walked over to me kissing my cheek lightly before going back out to the living area with everyone else.

I sat on the couch next to Kamalei as Jimmy handed me a beer and the night really started. A few beers in, Austin and Phil called us over to their bus to keep the party going. We all headed over to their bus, drinking shots and playing beer pong, even Kelly had a few shots with us now that she was feeling better. Kamalei stayed next to me the entire night, not more than 3 steps away from me, usually interlocking her fingers with mine as we stood at the side of the beer pong table or sat on the couch.

“Smoke break Zee?” Jimmy asked motioning us outside.

I nodded before turning to Kamalei sitting next to me, “I’ll be right back okay? I’m going right outside with Jim.”

“Okay. Don’t leave me here.” She said quietly, a strange shyness coming from her.

“I promise.” I said kissing her cheek as I let go of her hand.

Leana left Jimmy’s side and took my seat next to Lei as I got up and followed Jimmy outside into the cool air. I handed him a cigarette and we both lit up leaning against the bus.

“So you have a new attachment…” Jimmy said inhaling his smoke.

“What?” I asked confused.

“Lei. She won’t let go of you. I mean she’s literally attached to you. What happened back at that party man?”

I looked up at the bus to make sure Kamalei wasn’t eavesdropping as I pushed off the side of the bus to stand across from him so I would see if anyone came out. I kicked at some of the gravel as I thought if I should tell Jimmy or not.

“I shouldn’t really be saying anything…” I said looking up at his crystal blue eyes, “but if you promise.”

“I promise.”

“Well, I kinda almost hooked up with Sarah. I made out with her and it was a big mistake. Kamalei caught me making out with her in my bedroom…” I said quietly looking down at my shoes rubbing the back of my neck.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?!” Jimmy yelled at me angrily.

“Look, I know. I know…” I said throwing my hands in the air, “I was really fucked up and saw something I shouldn’t have and I took it the wrong way…”

“What?” Jimmy said crossing his arms over his chest.

“I can’t Jimmy. Just know it’s over and we’re good again. That’s all that matters now. I’m not going to do anything to fuck this up.”

“You better not. I love you, you’re my brother… but that girl in there... Sweet little Lei-Lei… I’d kill you if you hurt her again Zack.” Jimmy stated seriously.

“I think I’d kill myself. Jimmy…” I said rubbing the back of my neck again as my nerves took over despite the alcohol, “Jimmy, I love her. I can’t live without her. I don’t know what to do with myself when she’s not around. I just got over the worst 3 weeks of my life and I never want to go back there. I need her in my life.”

Jimmy smiled and laughed, “Oh Zacky, Zacky, Zacky…” He threw an arm around my shoulders as he tossed his cigarette and opened up the door, stepping back on the bus, “It’s only a matter of time my brother. A matter of time…”

“What’s a matter of time?” Leana asked from my previous spot on the couch, Jimmy leaning down to kiss her instead of answer.

Lei looked up at me, a smile reappearing as she got up from her seat and grabbed my hand,
“Let’s play beer pong Zacky boy.”

“Whatever you want to do,” I replied following her over to the table before whispering in her ear, “beautiful.”

She giggled and her cheeks got redder than they were from her drinking, “Zee… stop it.” She said as she playfully hit my chest.

We played a few rounds against Brian and Kelly before the mixture of alcohol and bodies started to make me hot. I was good and drunk feeling fantastic with Kamalei close to me again, like it used to be.

“You wanna go outside with me for a bit? Walk around in the fresh air?” I leaned over and asked her quietly.

“Yeah. Just you and me?” she asked.

“Yeah. I need a beautiful girl to walk with me under the stars.” I whispered kissing the spot just behind her ear.

She giggled loudly gaining Brian and Kelly’s attention as well as Jimmy behind her. They all just smiled and laughed as her face turned bright crimson. She put her face in her hands as she tried to make herself stop blushing. I wrapped my arm around her waist and guided her to the front of the bus, grabbing 2 beers from the fridge before stepping down the stairs and outside.

I handed her one of the beers as she put her hands down, “How embarrassing! I can’t believe I did that!”

“What? I thought it was cute. Don’t be embarrassed…” I said taking a swig of my beer before reaching out and intertwining our fingers.

“Oh Zee… you make me feel so much better about everything.” She said as we walked around the now empty venue.

“That’s my goal. Make you happy. Play music. Make you happy. Get drunk. Simple things…” I said swinging our hands playfully.

“You said make me happy twice!” she laughed drunkenly.

“So? I want to make sure I do it…” I replied chuckling light-heartedly.

We walked around for a few minutes in silence, just enjoying each other’s company and smiling when we would catch one another looking. I tossed my empty beer as we made our way back towards the rows of busses, slowly walking back to OM&M’s bus. Standing outside the bus, we heard everyone inside having a good time, playing music, laughing, and dancing. Kamalei’s hand still locked in mine, I could feel her hesitate as I stepped closer to the door.

“Zee, could we maybe not go back yet? I’m having a nice time… just the two of us.” Her hazel-green eyes glimmering in the glow from the street lights, illuminating the parking lot.

“Sure.” I smiled as we turned and walked away from the loud bus.

We headed off towards our own bus’ direction, when she finally said, “I’m ready.” looking down at our hands.

I looked at her, grabbing her face and lifting it to look in my eyes, “Lei are you sure?”

She nodded with a smile.

“Lei, will you be my girlfriend?” I asked her softly.
