*~*Zacky’s POV*~*

I was too scared of the response from Lei that I pulled her with me to the stage before she had a chance to say anything. I think she was relieved too after I dropped the bomb on her. It was true though, she had my heart. I loved this girl. I wouldn’t let anyone take her from me or do anything to hurt her. Even if after it was all said and done and she chose to be with someone else, she would always be special to me.

I sipped my beer as we showed our credentials to the guard at the stage and went up to the side stage. Lei peeked out to see the crowd, still holding onto my hand as she started to lose her balance I pulled her back letting her fall into my chest.

“Still clumsy.” I smirked at her.

She blushed as she smirked back, “Shut up.”

“Hey! You guys made it! Awesome!” Austin said coming from the stairs.

“I’m excited to see you guys play again. I realized everything is so different when you get to be backstage.” Kamalei told him.

“Yeah, it’s definitely a different experience…” Austin replied as he looked down and saw our hands, he trailed off.

His bandmates came up behind him and started to take the stage earning screams and cheers from the audience.

Kamalei let go of my hand and gave Austin a hug and a kiss on the cheek, “Have a good show Austin! We’ll be cheering for you!”

Austin shot a worried glare at me and I smugly smiled at him, knowing that I had successfully told him Lei was off-limits. He thanked her and went out to greet the masses as his band began playing. Kamalei came back over to me, interlocking her free hand with mine as she leaned against my shoulder and sang along to some of the music.

“You alright?” I leaned down and asked in her ear over the music.

She shook her empty beer in front of me pouting, “I'm out.”

I reached out and stopped one of the roadies holding up my also empty beer. He nodded and returned a minute later with two new beers handing them to us.

“Better babe?” I asked her.

She turned and looked at me surprised, “Babe?”

“Sorry...” I replied as she pushed me lightly.

“It's okay, 'babe'.” she smirked, stressing the 'babe' to tease me.

I grabbed her by the hip and pulled her back against my chest, wrapping my arm around her waist, holding her to me. She rested her head against the crook of my neck before smiling up at me as I kissed the side of her exposed neck softly.

“Zee...” she trailed off as I planted my lips against the soft flesh once again.

“Yes beautiful?” I asked.

“Stop it and watch the show...” She replied putting her hand up to cup my face and stop me from kissing her neck more.

I gave into her request but held her close to me through the remainder of the set. She didn't seem to mind as she interlocked her fingers with mine and moved to the beat of the music. Austin finished the final song of their set and came off stage to where we were, grabbing a bottled water off the speaker next to us.

“How'd we do?” He asked us.

“Great as always!” Kamalei said excitedly.

“Thanks for coming out to see us. What are you gonna do from now until you play?” Austin asked me, looking at both of us.

“Uh....drink?” I said holding up my empty beer.

Kamalei giggled as she held up her empty one as well, “Let's go to the bus. I want to change and we have beer.”

“Alright I'll meet you guys there.” Austin said as he turned back to his bandmates now exiting the stage.

Kamalei let go of my hand as she tossed her empty beer in the trash can as we walked back to the bus area. I spotted the girls from earlier watching Kamalei as she walked back towards me and I instantly ran up to her, grabbing her by her hips and lifting her in the air and spinning her around before putting her back on the ground.

“Zacky? Wha-” she started before I crashed my lips down on hers.

She wrapped her arms around my shoulders as I kissed her passionately. I smiled as I felt her tongue trail along my snakebites asking for more. I peeked with one eye to see the girls all give Kamalei and I dirty glares at the public display of our affection and slowly pulled away.

Kamalei playfully hit my chest, “Zee... what did I tell you about that?”

“Sorry... they're watching though.” I whispered the last part to her.

Kamalei looked over and saw the group of girls, instantly slipping her hand in mine as she curled up to my arm and began walking in the direction of our bus. She passed by the girls smiling and even tossing them a wave hello as a smug reminder that they had no chance. They scoffed as they walked off in the opposite way.

We got back to the bus to find a very tired and exhausted looking Kelly barely sitting up on the couch. Brian came out from the bathroom at the sound of the bus door closing.

“Hey guys… Sorry, you aren’t going to want to go to the bathroom… Kells is really sick.” Brian said grabbing towels and throwing them down on the bathroom floor.

Kamalei sat next to Kelly on the couch and began rubbing circles on her back, “Kell Bells, do you want me to take you to the doctor?”

“No… I just want to lie down…” She answered weakly.

“Come on, I’ll help you.” Kamalei said standing and wrapping Kelly’s arm around her shoulder.

I watched Kamalei wince at the movement and remembered she hurt her back earlier so I grabbed Kelly from her.

“You go sit Lei… I’ll help her.” I told her as I lifted Kelly up and carried her to her bunk.
Kamalei came over to the side of Kelly’s bunk with a bottle of water and a magazine, “Here babes, in case you need it and if you want to do something besides watch your boyfriend clean up your vomit.”

“Thanks Lei baby…” she mumbled before drifting off to sleep.

“Brian you better make sure my girl is okay. If she gets any worse I’m taking her to the damn doctor.” Kamalei said closing the curtain to the bunk.

“I was trying to get her to go today. She’s stubborn like you; I can see you two grew up together…” Brian said from the bathroom.

Kamalei went to the back room of the bus, rifling thru one of her bags to find her clothes. She had her back turned to me as I waited in the kitchen area for her, watching Brian clean up the puke infested bathroom.

“Zee, come here.” She called after a few moments and I padded down the hall to her.

She turned around wearing a plain black V-neck shirt and pair of black skinny jeans that hugged every curve of her beautiful body, “Does this look okay?”

I bit my lip as I stared at her, “I have something better.” I said as I went into my own bag and found one of the Vengeance University crop tops with ‘Lady’ printed across it and handed it to her.

“But Zee, it might get cold. Your show is this evening.” She replied looking at it.

“Wear your jacket Jimmy got you. I think it’ll look amazing, ma’lady.” I replied stressing the ‘lady’ as it was printed on the top.

“Ok. Are you sure this will fit me? I have a lot of boobs.” She said holding her chest and hopping.

“It’s stretchy, it’ll fit.” I said as she whipped her shirt off and put the other top on.

She dug out her black leather jacket and put it on over the top, posing with her hand on her hip, “Yes?”

“Oh yes…” I nodded as I came into the room more, shutting the small door behind me softly, “You look amazing.”

“You always say that. Am I on the clock now then?” she giggled as she slipped the jacket off and I stepped closer to her.

“Not yet.” I replied pulling her to me and kissing her deeply.

Her arms went around my neck and she slowly slid her hands down my shoulders to rest on my chest. I had my hands on her hips and let them slither down to her voluptuous ass, giving it a squeeze as she moaned softly and opened her mouth to me. Our tongues explored each other as our breathing grew heavier in the minutes that flew by. Suddenly I heard the front door to the bus slam and Lei pushed away from me, fixing her clothes and grabbing her jacket. I could hear Austin talking to Brian in the hall as Lei reached up behind my neck and pulled me in for one last peck on the lips before opening the door and stepping out to greet Austin.

“Hey there’s Dr. Hottie…” Austin said not noticing me standing in the back, “You look great girl.”

“Austin, stop calling me that already… but thank you. It’s one of Zee’s new designs. I’m officially working for VU right now.” She said cheerily tossing her jacket on the couch and grabbing a beer from the fridge for herself and me.

“Hard working hottie is back at it again.” Austin said smiling at her chest more than her face.

I cleared my throat as I stepped out from the back, startling Austin, “Maybe we should go somewhere else to drink, Kelly is really sick. We should let her rest.”

“Yeah good idea Zacky boy. Can we drink on your bus?” Kamalei asked Austin.

His eyes drifted back to her chest as she spoke before he glanced up and caught the dark look I was giving him, “Uh… yeah. Sure. Let’s do that.”

I grabbed her jacket from the couch and helped her into it, sheltering some of her body from Austin’s stares. He was my friend but I wasn’t going to let him gawk at the girl I wanted. We headed off the bus and over to OM&M’s bus a few rows away. Surprisingly we found Matt there drinking with Phil Manansala chatting lightly about the show.

“There you are Austin… I was waiting for you to get back here. Lei, Zacky, what are you guys doing here?” Matt asked as he stood and shook Austin’s hand.

“Drinking, duh!” Lei said as she sat down at the table.

“Kelly is really sick so we thought we should let her sleep.” I answered Matt’s questioning look, taking the seat next to Lei.

“Oh that reminds me… Lei can I talk to you outside for a minute.” Matt said as I got up and let Lei out of the booth seat.

*~*Kamalei’s POV*~*

I sighed heavily at Matt’s request, expecting another conversation about boundaries with Zacky. Honestly, I was ready to give my brother a full blown ‘Fuck off’ at this point and just make out with Zacky in front of him, but I knew it really wouldn’t end well for anyone. I followed him off and lit up a cigarette as I leaned against the bus.

“So I wanted to see if you’d be okay with something…” Matt started and I nearly choked on my smoke.

“Uh…okay…” I said cautiously, coughing lightly.

“Do you think you will be alright if I left you alone with the guys for a night?” He asked nervously playing with his hands.

“What do you mean?” I raised an eyebrow at him as I questioned.

“Well, Val has been working really hard and I wanted to surprise her and take her to dinner after the show and a hotel tonight… you know, something nicer than the bus with all the guys…” He confessed, blushing.

“Awww… Matty, you’re so sweet. Yeah, I’ll be fine! Don’t worry about me. Val deserves a nice night out with all she does for everyone. Take her out and have a good time.” I replied with a smile.

“Really? You sure you’ll be alright? I mean we’ll meet you guys at the next stop in the afternoon. I just hate to leave you behind after everything…” He said pleading with me to not throw a wrench in his plan.

“I’ll be fine. I got the 4 goof balls. They wouldn’t let anything happen. I trust them with my life like you do with yours.” I said putting a hand over my heart.

“Sis, you’re the best.” Matt said pulling me into his giant arms and hugging me to him as I threw the lit cigarette before it could burn him.

“I know, I know…” I said as he released me, opening the door and heading back in the bus.

Zacky had a worried look on his face that quickly changed as he saw me smiling as I came and sat next to him.

“Everything ok?” he leaned over and asked quietly as Matt went by and into the bathroom.

“Better than ok.” I smirked bumping his shoulder lightly.

“So who’s ready for shots?” Austin said pulling a bottle of Jack from the cabinet.

I grabbed Zacky’s hand and raised both of our hands, “Oooo US!”

Austin grabbed the shot glasses down from another cabinet, lining them up on the table, one for each of us, my brother included. He poured the amber liquid in each and I rubbed my hands together ready to get some REAL alcohol flowing now that I knew I wouldn’t have to worry about my brother after their show this evening.

“Someone’s eager…” Phil teased me.

“Beers are nice but sometimes a girl needs to drink with the big boys…” I said and all of the guys laughed.

“You must be Matt’s sister…” Austin said shaking his head.

Matt came out of the bathroom and grabbed his shot, holding it up, “To friends and family.”

We clinked shots and all tossed them back, slamming the glasses on the tabletop upside down. I grabbed my beer and chased the burning sensation as I felt a hand lightly squeeze my thigh under the table. I turned and met the emerald eyes looking at me, smirking as he tapped the table again for another shot to be poured. I flipped our glasses over for Austin as he grabbed his and Matt’s, Phil wanting to take a minute before doing more.

It’s on Zacky boy… let’s drink.

I lost count of how many drinks in we were when Brian stumbled onto the bus claiming they were playing in a half-hour and needed to get ready. Matt jumped up from his seat at the table and practically ran out to our own bus to grab fresh clothes. I got up slowly, holding the table for support as the room began to spin and let Zacky out from the booth. He looked at me for a second before wrapping my arms around his neck and picking me up, his hands resting under my ass, saying bye to Austin and Phil and carrying me back to our bus.

“You alright Lei?” He said as he opened the door to the bus, Matt barreling out and off towards the stage area. “You can stay here if you want to…”

“No. I’m coming too. I have to make sure my Zacky boy is safe.” I slurred as he sat me down on the couch and made his way to his bag.

“I told you I’m fine. A little drunk now but I’ve been worse…” he trailed off pulling off his Misfits T-shirt and changing into a different Misfits one, throwing a black denim vest over it. “Are you going to be okay to be up there?”

“Yesss…” I said letting my eyes close for a minute.

“Lei?”

“Yeah! I’m fine. It’ll be fine. I’ll just take some water and I’ll be good.” I said jumping up from the couch and getting a bottle of water from the fridge.

“Come on…” he said holding his hand out to me, “Hold my hand? I don’t want you to fall.”

“That’s not why…” I said drunkenly as I grabbed hold of his hand and followed him off the bus.

“It is and it isn’t. It’s definitely what I’ll tell your brother though.” He chuckled as we walked thru the crisp evening air to the stage.

The guys did their usual rituals as I stood off to the side, sipping my water and already sobering up. Zacky grabbed my hand as we went up the stairs, making sure I didn’t trip or fall as we got to the side stage. They each gave me a hug and a kiss on the head as they went out to the fans screaming their names. Zacky of course waited to be last, hugging me the longest and pecking my lips softly with his back to my brother to make sure he didn’t see him steal a kiss.

“Be careful over here. I’ll be watching.” He said as he turned and went out to join the rest of the band.

I couldn’t help but smile wide as I watched Zacky play and jump around with Brian, Johnny, and Matt. He would steal glances at me every so often smirking or giving me that famous cute pout that made my heart skip a beat. I leaned up against a speaker nearby when I felt lightheaded from jumping up and down and singing to the songs. Jason Berry came out from the side and set down beers and water for the guys, handing me a water specifically. In between songs, Zacky and Brian came over and took drinks of their beers, also making sure I was alright.

I just kept drinking water, knowing that I would get more alcohol later tonight after the show was over. I had heard the stories from Brian and Johnny that when my brother wasn’t around, everyone usually woke up with a major hangover and not sure what happened the night before. I smiled at the thought of the fun that would happen after my brother left and I was finally free to do what I wanted, with whomever I wanted.

They played their final song and threw out their drumsticks and picks to the crowd, smiling as they came over to the side grabbing towels from Matt Berry and another roadie. Matt came over to me scooping me up and spinning me around as he hugged me tightly.

“Thank you so much baby sister!! I’m so fuckin’ excited!” He said as he set me down.

I rubbed my back, the pain coming back as he set me back on the ground, “You’re welcome big brother.”

Zacky looked at me concerned but waited until my brother went down the stairs before coming over to me, “Your back still hurt?”

“Yeah…fuck. I thought the booze would help…” I said rubbing it as we followed down the stairs and made our way out towards the merch booth.

“So what was that all about?” He asked nodding to my brother who had linked arms with Jimmy and was skipping like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.

“He’s surprising Val with a nice dinner and a night at a hotel…” I replied. “So basically he’s gonna get some and he doesn’t have to be quiet about it.”

“So… does that mean that he’s not going to be back until tomorrow morning?” Zacky said, raising an eyebrow at me.

“Better. He’s going to meet us at the next stop. In the afternoon.” I answered smirking as I looked up at him.

“Shit yeah… Let’s fucking party tonight!” He exclaimed with his arms in the air as we entered the merch tent.

Ok I know I have been super slackin on updates for this story but I have been super obsessed with MLPOH's updates because I have so many ideas that I don't want to forget them. No worries though!
