Ch. 52- My House
*~*Kamalei’s POV*~*
I never realized how close Zacky lived to my brother. It was a 5 minute drive from our house to Zacky’s and I was grateful to know now where he lived, so if I ever stumbled in on what I just witnessed, I had a place to run to, literally.
“Wow I didn’t know you lived so close.” I said as he parked in the driveway of the beautiful 2 story house.
“Yeah, I was lucky enough to pick up this place after I left the other house to Gena. It was way across town and I’m a lot happier here closer to everyone else.” He replied as we walked up to the front door, “Stand back. Majesty is pretty awkwardly friendly.”
He opened the door and I could hear the jingling of dog collars and barking racing towards the door. A tiny little black fluff came barreling down the marble floor entryway and Zacky bent down to pick up the dog as he leaped into his arms.
“Aww. He’s cute. He’s not awkwardly friendly.” I said before I heard something much louder coming closer.
“This isn’t Majesty…” He answered holding up the small dog as a large gray Great Dane came running at the door jumping up onto me. “Majesty get down!”
I laughed as the dog licked at me and I bent down to play, “It’s fine Zee. Majesty just wants some loves!”
“Is that all it takes? Shit. I would’ve jumped on you a long time ago then…” Zacky smirked as he walked in the doorway.
I corralled Majesty inside, lightly punching Zacky’s arm, “Shut up stupid.”
He held the small dog out to me, “This is Ichabod Crane Vengeance. He gets VU if something happens to me… Icky say hi to Lei girl.”
I took Icky from him and he licked my face as I followed Zacky further into the house.
“He likes you. You should feel honored. He hates new people usually.” Zacky commented as he led me into his living room.
There was a large black plush L- shaped couch with giant ottomans in the middle of the room, a huge TV on the wall facing the couch, and a fully stocked bar behind the sitting area that led into a dining room area. The marble floors ended as we walked into the living room and turned into a light carpet. I looked down, taking off my shoes before stepping on his nice carpet.
“Oh don’t worry about it Lei… Over there is Johnny’s DNA where Icky took a chunk out of him. I’m seriously surprised he’s letting you hold him this long… Make yourself at home." Zacky said as he walked into another room down the hall, which I assumed was the bathroom.
I set Icky down and watched as he scurried off somewhere, before walking around the living room area, trailing my fingers along the backs of the dark wooden dining room chairs and looking out the blinds of the back sliding glass door. It didn’t seem like it from the front of the house, but there was a large backyard, similar to my brother’s, with a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.
Oh God. Just like the dream I had with the hot tub. That fucking hot tub…
“You hungry?” Zacky asked walking into the kitchen, startling me from my thoughts.
“Uh, a little bit…” I said following him into his kitchen as he opened the refrigerator.
“Well… looks like I have beer… and beer… and more beer. So how about we order some take out?” He said shutting the door, handing me a beer, and grabbing a stack of menus off a magnet clip.
“Okay. Anything is fine with me…” I replied leaning over the island countertop across from him, “Your house is really nice Zee. Your puppies must love being able to run all over the place.”
“I suppose they do… kinda sucks being in this big house alone all the time though…” He said trailing off as he found a menu for Chinese. “How about I order some food and then I’ll show you around?”
“Sounds great.” I smiled, walking over to the couch and sitting to wait patiently for him.
He finished ordering and then came over to the couch reaching his hand out and pulling me up. He held my hand as he took me upstairs and showed me all of his spare rooms, his office, and finally his bedroom. When he opened the door, I took a small gasp.
“I guess great minds think alike…” He trailed off.
His room was almost the same as mine at my brother’s house. The room looked like the inverted version of mine with gold bedspread and green accents everywhere. He had a large dark wooden dresser against the wall with another large TV mounted to the wall facing the bed. I plopped onto the bed, setting my beer down on his bedside table before placing my hands behind my head and crossing my feet.
“I should tell Matt I want a TV in my room too…” I smirked.
“You should. You know he would get you one.” He said walking around the bed and lying down next to me.
I sat up a little realizing that he had another sliding glass door, “You have a private balcony? That’s so awesome.”
“Yeah, go check it out.” He said resting up on his elbows.
I got up and went outside, the cool California air enveloping me in a small chill. I wrapped my arms around myself as I looked out at the lights of the town. I jumped when I felt two calloused hands rub my arms up and down, turning my head back to look at Zacky.
“You cold? Let me get you a jacket.” He said before stepping back in the room.
“Such a gentleman Zee.” I replied as I sat in one of the chairs on the balcony.
“Always.” He said putting a jacket around me, “Here, smoke?”
We sat outside and smoked a cigarette in the fresh air, laughing at Majesty and Icky chasing each other in the backyard below.
“Thanks Zacky…”
“For what?”
“For having me over… I couldn’t sit there and listen to…well, that.” I shivered at the thought.
“I wouldn’t make you do that anyways. I’m glad you got to come over now before the party.” He said.
“Party?”
“Yeah, I’m throwing our pre-tour party this weekend remember? You’re going to get to meet some of the other bands going on tour with us, plus some of our other friends from the area. My brother is even going to come so you can meet him too.” His eyes lighting up at the idea of a party.
“Oh yeah…” I said a little uneasily thinking of all the people that would probably be there.
“What’s wrong Lei?” He said reaching out and putting a hand on my thigh.
“Just, I get a little nervous around a lot of people I don’t know since the last party I went to.” I shrugged.
“Don’t worry. You’ll be safe with all of us here. If you want, you can always just stay by me, alright?” he reassured me.
The doorbell rang and we quickly snubbed out the ends of our cigarettes and made our way back into the house to the door. I sat on the couch with two new beers as Zacky brought in the food. We started to pull open the Chinese take-out boxes and dived right in as Zacky found us a movie to watch on TV.
We were laughing at the movie when I felt my phone go off in my pocket. I grabbed it out and looked at the screen seeing my brother calling. I took a deep breath, contemplating if I really wanted to answer or not. I knew he wouldn’t be happy that I was at Zacky’s house, alone. Zacky took notice to my hesitation.
“Who is it?”
“My brother.”
“Answer it. He’s probably worried if you’re okay. You haven’t been home all day.” Zacky said.
“I guess you’re right.” I clicked the answer just on the last ring.
“Hello?”
“Lei? Where are you? Are you alright?”
“I’m fine Matt. I’m out.” I answered thinking it best not to tell him I was at Zacky’s.
“Out? Where is out?” He asked as I put the phone on speaker signaling Zacky to be quiet.
“I’m just out Matt. I’m fine, don’t worry.” I said rolling my eyes.
“Lei, you don’t know this city. If you won’t tell me where you are then at least when are you coming home?”
“Later I guess. I’m having dinner right now…”
“With who?” he asked and I could hear the anger rising in his voice.
“A friend.” I replied quickly keeping it short and simple.
“Who Kamalei?” He snapped before I heard Val yelling at him in the background, “Matt! Leave her alone! She’s a big girl and I’m sure she is just trying to experience the city a little… She can’t stay locked up here forever!”
Matt sighed heavily, “How are you getting home?”
“I’ll get dropped off, don’t worry.” I answered as Zacky nodded.
“Well, if WHOEVER you are with can’t or won’t bring you home you call me okay? You need anything you call me alright?” Matt said sounding like the big brother who cared again.
“Yes brother, I will.”
“I’ll see you later then?”
“Okay.”
“Love you.”
“Love you too Matt.”
I hung up the phone and shook my head before tossing my phone away from me to the other side of the couch.
“Hey, he cares…” Zacky said.
“Yeah… sometimes too much. I don’t know if I’m ever going to get used to this sibling crap.” I replied taking another bite of noodles.
We finished eating while talking a little about Zacky’s party for this weekend. He reassured me that it wouldn’t be as scary as I was making it out to be. I looked back to our movie and it was already almost over.
“So now what do you wanna do? Do you want me to take you home yet or you wanna hang out more?” Zacky said hopeful.
I sat and thought about it for a minute before letting my mind wander back to that hot tub in the back yard. We had a few beers in us by then, and I could go for another while relaxing in that hot water with Zacky.
“I wanna get in the hot tub. Can we?” I asked cheerily.
“Sure. I’ll go put on some swim shorts. I’m afraid I don’t have any bikinis for you though m’lady…”
“That’s okay. I can just go like this.” I said standing up from the couch and cleaning up our food mess.
“I’ll be right back.” He said as he went upstairs to change.
I cleaned up and grabbed us 2 beers each, setting them on the counter as I began stripping off my shirt and shorts, tossing them on the couch before heading out to the hot tub. I set the beers down on the side, turning on the jets as Zacky came back outside. His black shorts hung loosely on his hips and I nearly moaned out at his sexy look. He looked me up and down, causing me to blush lightly, before he put a hand out to help me get in.
“So tell me Zee, why get this big house after Gena?” I asked taking a sip of my new beer as he sat next to me.
“Well, part of it was to rub it in her face that she could take what she wanted and I could still have what I want anyways, and the other part of it was that I wanted a big house because I’d like to have some little Vengeances running around wreaking havoc someday. I was upset for a long time thinking that Gena was the one for me and that when she left me I would never find someone to share my life with, but I’m much more hopeful now.” He replied smiling at me.
“That’s good. Again, I’m sorry about Gena. I shouldn’t have gotten involved today.” I said.
“It’s fine Lei, she brought you into it. You took her out.” He laughed taking a swig of his beer.
“I warned her.” I muttered looking down at my beer.
“You did…” He said reaching over and pulling me onto his lap before whispering in my ear, “Did I tell you how hot it was?”
I nodded as I bit down on my lip, avoiding his piercing green eyes as he nuzzled his nose into the crook of my neck, finally kissing my neck softly. I let my eyes slip closed and a moan escape as he continued to kiss my neck. I wrapped my arm around his shoulders as he held me around my waist in the bubbling water. He kissed down to my shoulder and I could feel his erection starting to grow under me. I turned and met his eyes for a brief moment before he brought a hand up behind my neck, pulling my lips to his hungrily. I was barely able to set my beer down behind him on the ledge before he lifted me lightly and moved my legs so that I was straddling him as we continued our heated assault on each other’s mouths. As we kissed, his hands slipped down to rest on my hips where he traced circles with his thumbs dipping under the edges of the fabric as he pulled me down to feel his hardness in his lap. I couldn’t stop myself from lightly grinding my hips against him as one of his hands tangled in my hair, causing me to moan lightly in his mouth. I felt a smile tug at his lips against mine, satisfied that he was able to get a positive reaction from me. My fingers were twisted in his hair as our kiss deepened and he reached down to grab my ass and move us.
“ZACKY!!!! GUESS WHOOOOOOOO?!”

Who do you think it is? I'm curious to see what you all think! I hope you enjoyed this chapter... things are getting steamier and steamier for Zacky and Kamalei. Can they ever catch a break? Only time will tell. I hope to post another chapter this week, maybe even 2. Thank you for reading as always!
On a side note, I haven't elaborated much on my concert experience in Honolulu, but I will say it was amazing. I felt special as fuck as the only person wearing the Lady crop top from VU and I have a distinct feeling that Zacky himself noticed as I was 2 people back right in front of him and saw him see it and give me the pouty face, a smile, and a nod as I lost my fucking mind. I'm sure every girl has that fangirly moment, but for real, I think he really saw and approved. I feel like I got a few smiles from him for approval ;) (Damn your hotness ZV, Meahgan is lucky) I was classy about it and kept my composure with a simple smile back, not like the trashy girl in front with just a bra on with "Johnny Christ" written across her chest. *Pff*
I will say that if you do ever attend a concert in HI be prepared for very little concert etiquette. The same trashy girl and her friend in front were very greedy and rude when it came to the guys tossing out their picks, etc by fighting a few other girls for them after they already had for themselves. I was happy to find out though afterwards that they did share one pick with a girl next to me who just attended her very first concert. At least she has a piece of her first concert to take home :) Satisfying to say the least.
All in all, it was amazing. I got to see my favorite band after a very long 12 year wait and it was all worth it. I spent the few days after visiting with my fiancé's family and shopping before coming home. It was definitely something I will never forget. I'm hoping to catch them on tour in 2016 in the US mainland. Hopefully they will be touring again when I make my way across the deep blue again ;) Much love and Aloha <3 <3 <3 XoXo
