*~*Kamalei’s POV*~*

“My little Lei-Lei girl…wakey wakey… we’re here…” Jimmy said softly, gently shaking me awake.

“Really? I slept thru the entire flight?” I asked him as I straightened up in my seat.

“Yup you sure did.” He replied standing up, hunched over because of his height.

I uncurled myself, looking over at Johnny who was passed out next to me, drool running down his mouth. I gently shook his shoulder, his eyes bloodshot as they shot open and jerked awake.

“Shit. Sorry.” He said wiping his face on the back of his hand.

I giggled a little at him, “At least I wasn’t the only one who slept thru the whole time…”

After another 5 minutes or so, it was our turn to exit the row. I stood up and felt a little dizzy, hanging onto the seats to stabilize myself as I followed Jimmy off the plane. When we got to the ramp, I took a wrong step or something and started to fall before a tattooed hand grabbed my arm, pulling me up. I glanced over to see Zacky, one of his bags on the ground behind him where he had dropped it to catch my clumsy self.

“You really are still my clumsy girl aren’t you?” he smirked as he pulled my arm around his shoulders before picking up his bag.

“It’s the pills I took… I took 2 and I guess I’m still a little woozy from them. Thanks Zee. I didn’t even know you were behind me.” I told him as we walked up the rest of the ramp out to the waiting area.

“Lei are you alright?” Matt asked as Zacky made me sit on a chair.

“Yeah. Just those pills. I probably shouldn’t have taken the 2 at the same time, but it hurt…I’ll be fine though.” I said rubbing my head, wishing it would stop spinning.

“Piggy back ride? Dad is gonna pick us up. Everyone’s cars are at my house… well now your house too.” Matt asked as he set down his bag on the ground.

“Ok.” I said slipping my backpack on my back before climbing onto Matt’s back.

He stood up and I wrapped my arms around his neck as I turned my head and rested it against his back as he walked. Zacky walked close beside Matt, carrying my other bag with his, smiling up at me as we made our way thru the airport.

“Your father said that the boxes we sent ahead all made it okay and are waiting at the house for you and Kelly. You just rest sweetie…I know he is very excited to see you again, but I’m sure your father will understand. He’s been very worried about you.” Val said as we got to the baggage claim.

Matt went to put me down on the bench but I protested, “No big brother. I want you to carry me.”

“Lei, I gotta get the bags.”

“No. I don’t want to get down. I’m comfy.” I said snuggling into his back, closing my eyes.

“Alright. I’m not gonna argue with you.” He replied turning to the rest of the guys, “Sorry, baby girl doesn’t want to get down… I’ll go look outside and see if I can see my dad.”

We walked out into the warm night air of California and I could smell the difference in the air instantly. I crinkled my nose at the smell of the big city. Matt stood by the curb, looking back and forth for our dad’s truck when a guy walked up to him.

“You carry your girlfriend like that everywhere?” he asked.

“She’s not my girlfriend, she’s my sister. She’s sick.” Matt replied annoyed at the stranger’s tone.

“Oh, well I hope you feel better.” The guy said to me, attempting to peer around my brother’s large stature.

“Can I help you?” Zacky said coming out of nowhere.

“Oh shit you’re here too!” The guy said shocked, “I was gonna ask M. if I could have his autograph actually…”

“You have a funny way of asking…” Matt answered irritated.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to bother you… I just thought it was crazy to see you carrying this cute girl around and I’m a big fan…”

Zacky let a small growl out at the guy’s comment about me.

“Please man, my sister is sick and-” Matt started to brush him off before I cut him off.

“Matt, he’s a fan. I’ll get down… You can’t turn away a fan big brother.” I said as I slowly slid down wobbling a little.

“Zacky, watch her please.” Matt said as he took the pen from the guy giving him an autograph and making some small talk with him.

Zacky grabbed my arm and pulled it around his shoulders again as he held my waist carefully. I was still super tired and honestly just wanted to sleep again.

“Zee will you carry me please? I’m so sleepy…” I asked him.

“Sure. Come here.” He said pulling me around to face him and lifting my legs up, wrapping them around him.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my head on his shoulder, burying my face into his neck, inhaling the smell of his cologne and cigarettes off him. His smell instantly made me feel comfortable again, and I was able to close my eyes and relax. I felt him move his hands from the back of my thighs, lifting me up one more time before interlocking his fingers and resting them under my ass to hold me up. His stubble tickled my cheek as he turned his head to look at Jimmy who called out to him, and I couldn’t help but giggle a little.

Zacky rubbed his cheek against mine as I giggled, “Ticklish are we now?”

“Yes, stop it Zee…” I laughed, “You need to shave…”

“I know… I will when I get home. It’s not really a good look for me.” He replied rubbing his cheek one last time.

“What the hell? Lei!” Matt yelled at me.

I picked my head up and looked at him sleepily, “What Matt? I’m tired. Zacky said he’d carry me.”

“Look at the little baby… so cute….” Brian teased as he pinched my cheek.

“Zacky, put her down. You shouldn’t be carrying her like that.” Matt said sternly.

“No, I’m comfy. Don’t put me down Zee.” I said lying my head on his shoulder again, nuzzling into his neck.

Matt huffed before our dad pulled up in his truck, “Thank God dad is here. Lei get down and say hi to dad.”

I held onto Zacky tighter, mumbling into his neck, “No.”

I heard my dad come around to Zacky, “Is she alright?”

“Yeah, she’s just sleepy and a little groggy from the medicines. She doesn’t want to walk.” Zacky told my father.

“She’s a big baby when she doesn’t feel good. You’ll have to excuse her Mr. Sanders…” Kelly explained to him as she gave him a hug.

I turned my face the other way to look out at my father before speaking softly, “Hi daddy…”

“Hey sweetheart. Why don’t you let Zacky go so he can go with the guys?” He asked stroking my hair.

“I don’t want to let go. I’m comfy. Only if Zacky wants me to…” I said looking at him.

“I don’t mind.” He replied with a slight blush in his cheeks, as I nuzzled back into his neck.

“Kamalei! Get down.” Matt barked from the back of the truck where he was helping Jimmy load the luggage.

“I don’t want to… I’m sleepy Matt…” I whined.

“Zacky! Drop her.” Matt insisted.

“Sorry my Lei girl… I gotta-“ Zacky started.

“Matt! Leave your sister alone. She doesn’t feel good.” My dad scolded Matt, “Zacky, you can take Kamalei in the cab with the girls.”

“Dad! She’s not a baby! She can-” Matt protested before my dad cut him off.

“Matt. What did I say? Leave her be… We can discuss this later. It’s late, let’s just get home. Your mother wants to see you boys.” He said as Zacky carried me over to the cab of the truck.

He opened the door and stood there for a minute, “Uh… Lei? I don’t know how we are going to get in here if you don’t get down just for a minute.”

“Alright…” I sighed at the loss of contact as I pulled away from Zacky.

He stood behind me as I climbed in the backseat, and I could feel his eyes on my ass. As I turned around, I caught him red handed staring at me. He blushed a little more before climbing in next to me, letting me lay down on his lap as soon as he was in. Val jumped in the front seat next to my dad as the rest of the guys and Kelly got into the bed of the truck. Dad started up the truck and we headed off to my brother’s house.

I was thankful Val was in the truck with Zacky and I because she kept my father occupied so I didn’t have to. I just listened to them chat about the trip to Maui and the plan for the upcoming tour in two weeks. Zacky was playing with my hair softly and it was lulling me back to sleep just as we pulled up to the house.

“We’re home little sister.” Val smiled as she turned around glancing down at me, “Tomorrow I’ll have the guys make your room. We can go shopping and pick you out stuff you’d like for your new room.”

“It’s fine Val. You guys don’t have to do all that for me. I can live in whatever.” I said as I slowly sat up.

“I know we don’t HAVE to Lei… we want to do that for you sweetie. We want you to feel like this is your home, not just some place you have to stay. Your room should be how you like it. I’ll have them move the studio room downstairs and bring the bed upstairs for you while we go out shopping.” She said as we all got out of the truck.

“You want me to carry you?” Zacky asked.

“It’s okay Zee. Thank you. I’m less dizzy now.” I said as I started to walk up the driveway.

I started to stumble, Zacky catching me by the waist, “Don’t think so clumsy… Come here.” He said picking me up like he did outside the airport, walking into the house.

When we got into the house, there was an overwhelming smell of good food wafting out of the kitchen. I hadn’t eaten in hours upon hours and I was starving. I saw Matt’s mother in the large dining room, setting the table with plates as she hummed one of the band’s songs.

She looked up and saw Zacky carrying me, rushing over, placing a hand on me “Kamalei?! Hunny are you alright?”

“She’s just a little dizzy from the medicines they gave her. It’s just safer for me to carry her.” Zacky explained.

“Zack, you’re such a good boy. Kamalei, are you hungry?” she asked me.

“Yes, Mrs. Sanders. It smells really good.” I answered.

“Hunny you don’t have to be so formal. You can call me mom if you feel comfortable with it. All the rest of the boys do.”

“Ok. Yes please mama. I haven’t eaten all day. Can I change my clothes first?” I replied.

“Of course you can. There’s some boxes in the guest room, I’m not sure what’s in them, but they’re in there. Zack, take her in there and come back out here to help me set this table.” She directed.

“Alright.” Zacky replied carrying me into the guest room.

There were boxes all over the place as Zacky tried to maneuver around them to put me on the bed, tripping over one and toppling onto me on the bed. His eyes locked mine as he hovered over me closely on his elbows.

“Sorry Lei. You hurt?” he asked, barely audible.

“No, I’m ok.” I breathed heavily at the close contact.

He smiled, his green eyes becoming brighter, before he leaned down and softly brushed his lips against mine. My arms were still around his neck and his hands made their way in my hair as he deepened the kiss. I moaned softly, giving him the access to my tongue and my mouth as he shifted some on the bed, pressing his body closer to mine, slipping his knee between my legs and gaining leverage. Now pressed against my thigh, I could feel him getting hard in his shorts as we continued to assault each other’s mouths.

“Zack! Come and help me please!” Mom called.

Zacky jumped off the bed as quickly as we had fallen onto it, smiling down at me one more time before running his finger across his bottom lip, pulling on one of his lip rings. He turned and rushed out to the kitchen to help. I let out a deep breath, letting my arms fall out beside me as I stared up at the ceiling.

Dammit. That was fucking amazing too. That sexy look he gave me before he left. Holy shit. Fucking California…

“Lei? You changed yet?” Val said startling me as she stood in the doorway.

“No, sorry. Let me find something…” I said sitting up and trying not to make eye contact.

“You ok? You look a little flushed.” Val asked suspiciously.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I just gotta find my clothes…” I replied pulling open one of the boxes closest to me.

“Alright. If you need help let me know.” She smiled as she walked away.

I found some soft fuzzy sleep shorts and a comfy old Metallica shirt to wear, slipping them on and carefully heading out to the living room. The dizzy feeling was finally really subsiding and I was able to make it to the couch and plopped down next to Johnny.

He looked over at me before I grabbed a small pillow laying it down on his lap, and laying down. Matt walked into the house with the rest of my luggage, stopped to look at me as I laid in Johnny's lap, shook his head and continued taking my stuff down the hall to the guest room. Brian and Kelly came into the house next, holding hands sitting on the smaller love seat across from us, watching everyone unload their things. Val went into the kitchen to help mom and Zacky, Jimmy following before quickly returning after a few different voices called for him to get out. Matt and my father finally came and joined us in the living room, making small talk with everyone about their experience in Maui.

“So, Kamalei, do you feel any better now?” my father asked me.

“Yeah I feel a lot better now daddy. I'm not nearly as dizzy as I was earlier. I walked out here all by myself with no help.” I told him from my curled up spot on Johnny's lap.

“That's not really what I was talking about, but I'm glad you feel better. I meant do you feel better about what happened to you? You know with the baby-” He started before Matt angrily interrupted him.

“Dad! Stop! Now is not the time nor the place for that! We just got here!” Matt yelled at him.

I shifted some feeling uncomfortable at the topic being forced upon me. I put my hands over my face as I tried desperately to block out the argument and to not cry.

“Matt, we can't pretend that nothing happened. I'm just asking if she feels-”

“No dad! No! You aren't going to ask her about that shit now. I won't have you upsetting her. She will talk about it when she is ready. Leave it be dammit!”

Matt's mom and Val came out from the kitchen, a concerned looking Zacky following them.

“What's going on here Matt? Why are you yelling at your father?” Mom asked him.

“Because, he's bringing up stuff that's upsetting my baby sister and I won't have it right now. She doesn't need to go thru that shit right now. We just got home for fuck's sake.” Matt explained annoyed.

“Gary! Kitchen, now.” she said as my father stood up and followed her in.

Val came and sat in Matt's lap, stroking his cheek softly with her hand as she tried to calm him down. Zacky came around the couch, sitting on the floor in front of me, reaching up and rubbing my arm soothingly. He glanced up at me, our eyes locking again as he smirked before I could feel my face getting hot.

“Everything ok Lei?” Kelly asked as she looked over and saw my blushing.

I ripped my eyes away from Zacky to look at her, “Yeah...”

“You sure? You're awfully red in the face there...” she smirked.

Bitch! Now I really regret telling you anything...

I looked at Zacky and I could see the color in his face start to turn red as he looked down, pulling on one of his lip rings again. I glared at Kelly, making sure she knew I was irritated with her before I realized that everyone was staring at me.

“Yeah I'm fine... I don't know what you're talking about.” I replied.

“Alright everyone! Dinner is ready! Come in the dining room and eat!” Mom called out, saving my ass and Zacky's.

Everyone quickly got up and made their way to the dining room, with the exception of Matt who grabbed Zacky by the arm, pulling him out into the hallway. I sat at the table next to Jimmy and my father, closest to the hallway, hoping to overhear what Matt was talking to Zacky about.
