Looking for True Love

Syn smiles at Hope and says, “Why don’t I take you home or do you want to get something to eat first?” Hope is smiling and says, “We can get something to eat first if you want.” Syn walked over and grabbed Hope’s hand gently and said, “That’s fine with me. I get to spend more time with you then.” Hope couldn’t help but blush. “Well, Syn you apparently leave the lady’s speechless,” Zacky said while walking towards us. “I can never make the girls blush like Syn does,” The Rev says joining the conversation. “I bet you can Rev,” Hope told him.

“Call me Jimmy instead of Rev, it just sounds better,” Jimmy told Hope. “Well, Hope are you ready to leave?” Syn asked her. “Yeah, I’m ready to eat.” Syn laughed and looked at the guys and said, “I’ll meet you guys back at the hotel.” Syn took Hope’s hand and walked out of the building. When Hope and Syn got outside, Hope said, “What kind of car do you drive?” Syn replied, “I drive a 2007 BMW 3 series, black with custom aftermarket wheels.”

Hope was stunned then said, “Awesome! I always wanted a Corvette C1. I love classic cars.” Syn stopped walking and was surprised by what Hope said. “Are you okay?” Hope asked. Syn smiled big and said, “Yeah, I just didn’t expect a girl to know about cars.” Hope started laughing and said, “Yeah I can be surprising once you get to know me.” “Well I can’t wait to learn more about you. Wait here while I go get the car,” Syn said and left Hope blushing like crazy. After a few minutes, Syn pulled up in his BMW and got out.

“Wow, it’s a nice car,” Hope said while looking at Syn’s car. “Well I’m glad you like it. You ready to go?” Syn asked while opening the car door. Hope looked at Syn shocked and didn’t move. “Are you going to get in the car?” Syn asked her. “Yeah I’m just shocked at how many guys still open doors for girls,” Hope replied getting into the car. “So what’s your favorite song by the band?” Syn said smiling while getting into the car.

Hope thought for a minute and said, “I don’t really have a favorite. I love all of the songs.” Syn smiled some more, “If you had to choose one which one would you choose?” Hope thought for a minute and said, “I would have to choose Afterlife. I love how you play the guitar in it and your backup vocals and you have a beautiful voice.” Syn focused on the road so Hope didn’t see him blushing. “Are you blushing?” Hope asked while looking at him. Syn was quiet for a minute then replied, “Yeah, I am. That was the first time a girl has made me blush.” Hope couldn’t help but smile.

After a few minutes passed, Syn stopped at the stoplight and said, “Where do you want to eat?” Hope thought about it and then said, “Can we get some Wendy’s? A frosty and french fries sounds so good.” Syn started laughing and said, “You just continue to surprise me.” Hope started laughing and said, “Well I could really shock you about what I like to do.” Syn pulled into Wendy’s and parked the car. “Well we have time so I can get to know you,” Syn said looking at Hope. Hope unbuckled her seatbelt and almost opened the door when Syn said, “Don’t you open the door. I got it.”

Hope just sat there while Syn made his way around the car and opened the door, “Thank you. You are such a gentleman.” Hope said. Syn closed the door and looked at Hope and said, “I try. Girls should be treated like ladies.” Hope smiled when he said that. Syn took Hope’s hand, leading her towards the door and said, “Let’s go eat and talk.” When they went inside Wendy’s Syn looked at Hope and said, “What would you like to eat?” Hope looked at the menu and said, “I’ll just eat a cheeseburger, fries, and a Dr. Pepper.

Syn looked at Hope and said, “That sounds really good. You can go find us a seat while I order the food if you want?” “That’s fine. I’ll be waiting.” Hope said to Syn while walking away to find a seat. After a few minutes, Syn showed up with the tray of food and sat across from Hope. “So is it alright if I ask you questions? Syn asked her. Hope took her food and shook her head. “What is your favorite color?” Syn asked. Hope took a bite of her fry and said, “I like blue. Sometimes I will buy clothes that are purple.”
Syn was holding his cheeseburger and said, “Purple is my favorite color.” Hope smiled and continued to eat while Syn kept on asking questions. After his last question, Hope said, “Okay since you’ve been asking questions I have one for you.” Syn leaned forward and waited for Hope to say something. “Would you ever date a fan?” Hope said quietly. Syn leaned in real close and said, “As long as that fan is you.” Hope couldn’t help but blush.

“Are you ready to leave?” Syn asked. “Yeah, I’m worn out from today.” Syn laughed and took Hope by the hand and left Wendy’s. On the way to Hope’s house, Syn turned on the radio so it wasn’t too quite. After the 10 minute ride to Hope’s, Syn pulled into Hope’s driveway and parked the car. Syn looked at Hope and asked, “Is t okay if I walk you to the door?” “I would like that,” Hope replied.

Syn opened her car door and walked Hope to her front porch. “I had fun tonight. The date with you was a bonus,” Hope said looking at Syn. “I had fun tonight too. Could I possibly have your number?” Syn asked. “Yeah, its 502-407-5859 and I also have to say you have beautiful eyes,” Hope replied. “Thanks. Hopefully I’ll get to see you again,” Syn said. Hope smiled and Syn hugged her and got in his car and left. Hope went inside and went to bed.
