I woke up and felt amazing, nothing else to say about it. The night with Alessia… wow.
I turned to the side and looked towards her. Her eyes were still closed and her breathing even. I thought about my next move, should I get up and leave her a note, maybe she needs her sleep, she didn’t really tell me how she would be working today.

I didn’t really want to leave so I closed my eyes again, I breathed in deeply and liking the feeling of her warm and naked body so close to mine.

I snapped my eyes open when I felt feather light kisses on my shoulder and hair tickling my biceps.

Brian’s POV

I stood in the kitchen and looked at Jimmy. He didn’t make any move to talk so I waited some more.

“JAMES!” I yelled and Jimmy looked at me finally. He walked to the open kitchen door and closed it, then walked to the door leading to my living room and also closed it.
I frowned even more, what was this about.

“I’m concerned.” Jimmy stated finally.
“Why?” I asked and leaned back against the kitchen island.
“Because you are acting strange.” Jimmy said and I hated when he talked like that.
“Can you please spit it out, full sentences, Jimmy.” I told him annoyed and Jimmy sighed.
I leaned back opposite of me and he seemed to think for a moment.
“I mean this thing between you and Tara, everything seems too good. Everything is going so quick and you didn’t even care to tell your friends about it? Since when are we not talking about such things anymore, Brian?”
The guilt was increasing and I sighed. “Jimmy, don’t get this wrong. I love you, you are my brother, this thing with me and Tara is just completely different. It’s nothing from the ordinary and we didn’t know if it would stay… We didn’t want to talk about it, because we knew how Jason would react if it didn’t work out, you know…” The beginning was true… the rest, well not so much.
“I get that, but Brian, do you realize that she is the first girl, since the whole Chelle thing.” I growled when I heard that name.
“I don’t wanna talk about that and you fucking know it. Leave it that way.” I told him with narrowed eyes.
“Brian, just be careful don’t get your feelings too attached to that girl, what if she is not as into you as you are into her, I remember it was a hard time getting you back on your-” I had to interrupt him, didn’t wanna hear that shit.
“Shut the fuck up. We agreed that this topic is done, the thing with Tara and me has nothing… I repeat it for you, nothing to do with that. We are happy, we are not getting married in the next weeks and I like her yes, I am into her, she is into me, we like to spend time together… Everything is great, just let me have fun and let me be with her, there is nothing wrong about it, or? And this has nothing to do with Chelle or how it ended.” I told him and that would be the end of that subject for me.
Problem was, Jimmy wasn’t too convinced… and another problem was that Jimmy was the only one knowing what really happened between Chelle and me, and that was why he was getting on my nerves like this.
“I just wanted to warn you, I still got this feeling something is off here and you know how I am always right about that feeling?” Jimmy asked.
“Yeah, I know. But I tell you don’t worry. Everything is fine.. or would have been fine if you guys didn’t interrupt my morning fun, asshole.” I shoved his shoulder and Jimmy smiled a little.
“I heard that… nice… or would have been nice…” Jimmy smirked.
“Are we done now, I think you guys killed the mood but I would try again if you are gone…”
“Too much information from you, Brian… and if I say something like that, you know that that has a meaning.” Jimmy grinned and I laid my arm around his shoulder.
We walked together out of the kitchen and I wondered what Matt and Tara would be talking about in the meantime, we were gone for quite a while…
I opened the door to the living room and saw in that moment Tara shoving Matt’s hand away.
Weird… what was this about?!
I saw Jimmy glancing at me from the side, his eyebrows lifted and I just shrugged and left him standing there.
That was something to figure out for another time, now these two had to leave, quickly.
