(Love) Contract

Tara’s POV

“Will you now tell me who these guys were and what this job is about? I mean these guys don’t look like the normal employer to me? Am I right?” Cara asked and I looked up to her.
“Cara, can we talk about it later, I really need some sleep.” I tried but knew my sister wouldn’t let this go.
“No, you were just brought home in the arms of a tattooed, nooo of two heavy tattooed guys I have never seen before. I want to know what is going on, right fucking now, young lady.” Cara looked at me angry and I sighed, sitting up straight.
“Fine, MOM.” She narrowed her eyes even more at me.

“Like Matt already described the situation, I went to this job interview, but I must have been send to the wrong room, anyway I ended there and as you might see I came to the finals. Don’t go crazy now when I tell you what this job is about, alright?” I looked at her and she just stared back.
“ALRIGHT?” I tried again.
“Fine.” She sat down and still looked pissed.
“So Matt and Brian are in this Band Avenged Sevenfold, it’s a Metal band. Matt described it as Brian kind of lost his… head a little. He wasn’t really paying attention to the band anymore and well… his image for the press is also a little battered, so Matt wanted to have some kind of babysitter for him. Don’t ask me how he agreed to all this, but when he wanted to introduce us, Matt got the message that Brian went to Las Vegas and the trial work was to find Brian and well, get him back. Which we succeeded as you might see. We spend the night together.” Cara lifted her eyebrows at me.
“Not like you think. We were out getting to know each other, we talked and Brian just seemed a little off track, but he is nice. I think I like him… And damn Cara the money… I really need that.”

I tried to describe her everything that I found out during the Las Vegas trip and what Matt had told me, that I would be living with Brian, play his girlfriend and what else would belong to my new job, all the details would be revealed later on.
“But Tara, are you really sure that you want to do this? This doesn’t sound as easy as you want it to be, honey.” Cara looked a little helpless at me.
“Yes, I think I can handle Brian, I think I can help him. Maybe we can even become friends and help each other… I guess we are both through a tough time…” I looked at her, and tried to make her understand me. I know it sounds strange and after just one or two days this was really confusing, but I felt like I could come along with them pretty good.
“But are you sure about the consequences… It’s not only you playing his girlfriend for his friends, you said his outta image needs a boost. So that means, you are dragged into the limelight, you will be on photo’s on the internet, in the newspapers… god knows what. You will be discussed by fans, you will be completely in the open, and you have to be sure about it.” I sighed at her comment and looked at her again.

“I know but… it won’t be that bad.. I mean… they are not like that known everywhere. I think I can handle the little attention. And they won’t pay attention to me, they will just talk about the guys, I will just be the appendage no one notices.” I smiled hoping it was true.
“Alright, if you are really sure about it, then I will have a look at the contract for you. Oh and what happened with you and the big one, he seemed interested?” Cara winked at me and I blushed.
“What? Matt? No, he.. we, he would be my employer, nothing. He was just nice… nothing else. Why?”
“Really? I’m your sister, you cannot lie to me, honey.”
“Fine, he might have kissed me…” I admitted, not wanting to give her any further details.
“YOU DID WHAT?” Cara yelled looking all excited finally.
“I did nothing, he kissed me… but it was just a mistake, it won’t happen again.” I tried to justify.
“Yeah, right, because he seems so completely UN-interested…” Cara smiled and I shook my head.
“Doesn’t matter, you only want to see what you like… I will play the girlfriend of Brian, I have to concentrate on him. That’s it.”
“Hmm… hmm… If you say so… Now get some sleep Rockstar- chick, you need to be pretty.” Cara grinned and I groaned, turning around on the couch and trying to finally get some sleep.

Matt’s POV

I sat together with Jason’s lawyer friend and Brian at the table in the restaurant waiting for Tara and her sister to arrive.
“So the contract is ready, some points need to be discussed in detail with the… woman who would be willing to do the job.” The lawyer looked at me and then Brian and I nodded.
“Yes, right. She will bring her sister with her and she is also her lawyer. I guess you could describe best the details in the contract and the rest we will clarify with Tara directly.” I told him and the lawyer grabbed his glass of water and drank.
“Hot girls arrived.” Brian motioned to the door and I saw both Tara and her sister walking in.

Both looked amazing, while Cara was dressed in a nice skirt showing some leg and a blazer atop of it, looking sexy but all business like, Tara wore a black jeans, fitting like a second skin to her curves and a dark red blouse, with a white top underneath showing some cleavage but not too much.
I swallowed thickly, they asked the waitress and she brought the girls to our table.
I guess it was a good sign, that they showed up, so Tara could convince her sister of the job and really wanted it.

All three of us, the lawyer, Brian and I got up and waited until Tara and Cara were close enough to greet.
Cara looked skeptical, while Tara smiled. Brian was the first to step forward, looking at Tara with a smile and then at her sister “There isn't a word in the dictionary for how good you two look… I mean.. damn.” Brian his natural self again, hugged Tara and then kissed her cheek and then did the same to Cara. Tara chuckled lightly while Cara just didn’t reply to Brian’s greeting.
I hugged Tara and couldn’t hide the smile on my face, when I could inhale her sweet scent again, and maybe I held her a little longer than necessary.

After all the introducing was done we sat together and I ordered us some wine, while we chose our food.
“So Tara gave you all the necessary details?” I finally asked to break the silence.
“Yes, she summed it up for me, while I guess that she might left out a part or two from her visit in Las Vegas, but that would be another topic.” Cara smiled a little at her sister who just shrugged.

“Can I see the contract or is this still a secret?” Cara asked after we placed our order and both women just ordered a small portion noodles and a small salad.
I frowned at them but kept my quiet.
“Please give her the contract. Mr. James will inform you about the necessary details or if you have some questions.” Our lawyer handed the contract over to the girls.

They read in silence and even when the food was brought to our table they kept on reading, not looking up once.
I didn’t know how they would react and they both didn’t give any expression through their features.
I looked over at Brian who already stared at his food, we haven’t really eaten the whole day so I guess he was hungry.
His phone rang and Brian sighed annoyed.
“Damn, it’s Jimmy.” Brian looked at me a little helpless.
“Go ahead, pick up.” I told him and motioned him to walk away a little, so he wouldn’t disturb the girl’s reading.
