The next morning

I'd slept longer than I wished this morning. I was happily woken by the smell of cooking pancakes, something me and Gracie did quite regular for Brian when he didn't feel too good on a morning. I walked down the stairs in Brians tshirt, after all I did find it lobbed on the floor after our fun night.

"Good morning" Brian crept behind me, and picked me up spinning me around. "How's my gorgeous, gorgeous wife this morning?"

"How are you more like?" I laughed. "I can get used to this Brian"

"This Brian is the one who has missed his family, and is sorry for not being around"

"Can I have that all the time?" I smiled turning around to face him. "Pwease?"

"We'll see" he backed me into the kitchen with a long kiss. He even slid his tongue in somehow.

"Daddy!" Gracie giggled. We stopped at turned to her, both embarrassed. "Morning mommy"

"Good morning sweetheart" I giggled back picking her up and spinning her in the air.

"I didn't see you yesterday you was with Uncle Zacky wasn't you?"

"Yes baby"

"Me and daddy made you some cakes what we make for daddy I told him how to do it!"

"She insisted we put milk in, I don't know if you do but, you're not getting good food this morning" Brian sighed plating up something. "Bon appetite - look impressed" he added.

"Oh, wow" I gazed at the liquid on my plate. "Pancakes!!"

"Daddy why are you chucking mine in the trash?"

"No, that was mine - I ate it all up so quickly, um.. this is yours" he quickly ripped open a pack with his teeth and placed a ready made pancake onto her plate. "Gracie, you should be a chef"

"No daddy I want to be a rockstar like my daddy and uncle Jimmy and Zacky and Matt and grandad"

"Awesome" they high fived and Gracie tucked into her perfect pancake, on the other hand I rolled my plate of liquid.

"Baby, I'm gonna go eat this outside because it is such a lovely morning" I sighed quickly rushing out. I tossed the watery batter into the bin, and rejoined the kitchen. "Mm mm mm, that was yummy"

"Yay" Gracie did a huge smile. "Can I eat mine outside?"

"Oh sweetie it's just started spitting, wouldn't want to get your lovely hair wet" I lied. If you offended her, she'd scream the house down -she was like me, over reacting all of the time.

"What's your plans today?" Brian asked biting into an apple. I guess that 'pancake' didn't satisfy him.

"Mommy is taking me shopping and daddy if you're not on your guitar you can come"

"Shopping with two girls? Oh god" Brian joked.

"Yes but you haven't come before and it's really fun because me and mommy buy lots of things"

"I guess I'll come" Brian sighed. "Do I get anything?"

"A day out with me and mommy..yes"

"Well, I'm gonna go get myself ready" I laughed.

Zackys POV

"You can't tell her that, Zack" Matt sighed.

"Why not?! It's the truth isn't it?"

"It maybe the truth, but it's definitely not the right thing to tell her. She's happily, very happily married to your best friend, her daughter is her world - and I doubt she'd talk to you ever again if you told her"

"Maybe it's a good thing she doesn't remember me, y'know? She's forgotten all of the bad shit," by that I obviously meant Lisa. But, nobody knew about that now. "Ren is getting to know me, and she might like it"

"No, no no!!" Matt groaned frustratingly. "Zack, if you do this you'll ruin every chance of getting to where you used to be. You need to accept that she doesn't know you as she did before, and it's going to take her time to love you. Just, not in the same way - Zacky"

"Uh," I moaned. "I can't pretend anymore"

"Dude, Renee is fucking gorgeous - do you know think I've had thoughts and feelings about her?! Trust me, even Johnny has"

"Even Syns dad has" I sniggered. "But I love her"

"She loves Brian! Her husband!"

"Matt -you really don't understand"

"I really do. Deal with it, or just get out of her life before you get too serious"
