"I'm fed up of seeing that cute face of yours all down. I've seen it when it's happy and it's just perfect. Instead of being upset about us not being close - maybe we should try to be, close" "I've tried" Zack sighed mixing a sachet of sugar in his coffee. "Not hard enough" I sniggered. "So, how did we get so close?" "We just talked one night" "Let's just talk then" I smiled leaning back. "So, first girlfriend?" "First girlf- why do you need to know about that?" "Fine. My, first boyfriend then. Well, he was called-" "Alex I know" Zack cut me off. "I didn't forget you, you forgot me, therefore you know nothing about me" he snarled as if it was all my fault. "Then just talk.." "Kay," he tutted. "First girlfriend? God. Was a girl named Keayah, I was about, 16" "You're first girlfriend was at 16?!" "Yes.. unlike you, at what, 12?!" He sniggered jokingly. "Ok maybe I was a little young, but 16 is taking the piss?" "Whatever," he rolled his eyes with a smile. "Did you go all of the way?" "Woah!" He snapped. "Ren?!" "You've told it me before, just one more time!" "No! I didn't go all of the way! Well, not to the extent you and Dean went too" "Oh!! I told you about that?!" "Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was prom night in the bushes, and I right or...?" ... We stayed in the café until it closed, just talking about Zack? I text Brian to let him know where I was, and he said he'd go home with Gracie. He'd been so supportive of Zack, it was really great of him. "Sorry you two, but we're having to shut now" the waitress said regretfully. "No problem" Zack walked away with me following him, and we both sat in his car. "Wanna listen to our cd?" "Our?" "Yup. You made it me for valentines day because I didn't have a date" he chuckled pushing the disc in. "You have one too somewhere. We listened to it everyday. It just has our favourite songs on, Radiohead, Pulp, Metallica" Nirvana - Rape Me kicked in, I instantly remembered listening to the cd almost every night. "Zack, can I take this home with me?" I asked "I'll give it right back, I just want to copy it because I think mines in my old car. When did I get a new one?" I laughed. "Um," he sighed. "It got broken into" "Wow, oh right" "But, yeah take it" Zack smiled. We drove my house singing together. I remember every single song. All of them. "Thanks," I smiled unbuckling myself. "I'll give this right back" "No rush" "I've had a great day Zacks" "What did you just call me?" "Zacks?" "You used to call me that, all of the time. Are you messing with me or something?" "I did? Look, I'm sorry I have to go" I sighed leaving the car. Zack needed to stop pressuring me, he wasn't making things any easier for me. I walked through to my happy home. Brian was laid fast asleep with Gracie, also asleep, on his lap. She was cuddled up to him with her small teddy, and kids programmes still remained on the TV. "Brian," I whispered brushing the hair from his face. "I'm home" "Oh, hey beautiful" he smiled wiping his eyes. "I'll go take her up" "Want me too?" "No, open us some wine or something" he smiled standing up carefully with Gracie fast asleep still clung onto him. "Night sweetheart," I kissed her head and tucked her thin, fine hair behind her tiny ears. I poured two glasses of red wine, and opened the last box of chocolates I had recieved from my birthday. I relaxed on the sofa and waited for Brian to come down. .. "Hey sweet," he sighed sitting close to me. "Oo, chocolate" "Hey!!" I slapped his hand as he went to grab my favourite. "No, no!" "What?!" "You can't have that one" "It's.. my favourite though" "Mine too" "Half it" he suggested biting his lower lip dull of appetite. "Aw,"I smiled sweetly. "No" I put it inbetween my front teeth, and was about to bite down until Brian pushed me flat on my back, ripping half of the sweet out of my mouth and into his. "Can you not.." "Mwah," he winked swallowing the milk chocolate ball. "You owe me big time" I shook my head in disappointment I only got half of it. "Never satisfied.." he sighed throwing another piece of chocolate up into the air at an attempt to catch it in his mouth. He squeezed his eyes shut and I seized the opportunity to snatch it away. Brian sat there with his head titled backwards, waiting for the chocolate. By the time he'd realised, I'd already started to eat it. "What the fuck" "Rawr"
