No Strings Attached

Brian's POV

We are in the home stretch. We only have about 2 more weeks of shows to play then we are done and I can finally go home to Jessica.

For the last four months, we've been calling each other and video chatting every chance we got. She had gotten a lot bigger since I last saw her. She said Mel is due a week after I get back and I'm so anxious to get back. I miss them so much.

"Hey dude, you want go get a drink with us?" Zacky asked me.

"Nah, I'm good, man. I'll just see you guys later. I have to call Jess anyways." I said, sighing and walking towards the bus.

"Come on, dude. I know you miss her and all that, but have some fun. Let loose for a bit." Zacky placed his arm around my shoulders, pulling me towards him. I smiled weakly and thought about it. I've been missing Jess so much lately that I haven't been able to enjoy myself. Maybe Zacky is right. I do need to let loose for a bit.

"Okay, fine. I could use a few shots." Zacky and all of the other guys hollered in agreement. We all piled into a van and went to whatever bar had the best shit. We landed at some bar called Heights. I kinda thought it was a stupid name

"Since Gates hasn't been out with us for a while, I think it would only be appropriate to have a few shots of...Jack?" Matt said with a smirk. Jimmy put both of his fists in the air, letting out a cheerful scream. He took off towards the bar and ordered our drinks. I knew this night was going to get crazy and I didn't even care. I just wanted to have some fun and relax.

Jess's POV

I waited patiently for Brian to call me as Val and I were eating some Chinese take-out. Usually Brian would have called me by now or text me saying that he was busy and couldn't call. I frowned, sighing loudly.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Val asked.

"Brian said he was going to call me. Usually he would have called or texted saying he was busy. But I haven't gotten anything. Has Matt called you?"

"Yeah. He called me earlier. It was only for a few minutes." Val said, not wanting to make me upset.

Why did Matt have the time to call Val even if it was only for a few minutes and Brian didn't? I only have a few more weeks till I see him. Even when we were only just friends, he would always call just to tell me how his day went or because he was missing me.

I smiled sadly and continued to pick at my Chinese food, suddenly losing my appetite.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure he's busy. Matt did say they were leaving for the next show and that he was going to make Brian drive. Just get some sleep. It's getting late. I'll clean up." Val said to me while she was getting the plates.

"You're right. I just hope he isn't getting shit-faced. And thank you." Getting up from the couch, I hugged Val goodnight and told her to let herself out when she's done. I walked up to the bedroom and laid down on the cool sheets, falling asleep thinking of Brian.

Brian's POV

I don't even know what time it is. I'm so drunk. Earlier, there was this really hot red head that was wanting to have sex with me. I almost said yes because I was horny as hell and missing Jess, but I told her no. Maybe I should call Jess. I miss her.

"Hello?" Jess sounded groggy. I laughed.

"Hey baby. I miss you sooooo much, you know that? I miss having sex. Our sex is amazing."

"Brian, are you drunk?" She said.

"Hell-" I burped. "-yeah I am. You know, I'm horny as fuck right now. Some red head was about to suck me off, but I told her no when she unzipped my pants. I miss you, baby."

"Call me when you're sober, you asshole." Jess said angrily, then hung up on me.

I frowned and put my phone back in my pocket, fetching my cigarettes. I lit the stick and took a long drag, the smoke filling my lungs. Exhaling, I looked up at the sky.

"Let's go! We gotta get to the next show!" Jason yelled from the bus. I threw the cigarette on the floor and ran onto the bus. Matt, Jimmy, Johnny, and Zacky were all passed out. I stumbled to my bunk and laid down, falling asleep.

The next morning, I woke up with a killer headache. My eyes hurt when I opened them and my breath smelt like a fucking dumpster. Falling out of my bunk, I staggered over to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet.

I sat there, hunched over the toilet, still throwing up. After what seemed like hours, I finished puking my guts up and managed to take a quick shower. After my shower, I walked out to the front and had breakfast with the guys.

I don't even remember anything from last night. It's all a huge, black blur. All I remember is some red head trying to suck me off in the parking lot and me calling Jess.

"FUCK!" I yelled out loud and ran to my bunk, looking for my phone. All of the guys asked what's wrong. I couldn't find it. I checked the other bunks, the bathroom, the dining area, and in my suitcase.

"Have you guys seen my phone?" I asked everyone who was still eating breakfast. They all nodded no. "Shit! Jimmy, can I use your phone? I need to call Jess."

"It's in my shoe." I ran over to his shoes and found it. Dialing her number frantically, I chewed the inside of my cheek.

"Hey, Jimmy!" She sounded so happy.

"It's Brian." she groaned and I knew she was about to hang up. "Don't hang up! Look, I'm so sorry for what I did yesterday. I know I shouldn't have gotten shit-faced. I'm sorry."

"You can get shitfaced all you want and have red heads willing to give you a blow job, Brian. I don't care anymore." She seethed.

"Don't say that. I know I fucked up big time last night. I would never do that to you. You know that." I said sweetly.

"I thought I did. You said she almost did, but you pushed her away when she unzipped your pants because you thought of me! Your pregnant fiancée finally popped into your head just as some slut was about to suck your dick!" Jess was yelling now.

"Calm down. Yelling isn't good for Mel. Look, I was drunk. I was horny. And I was lonely. This whole tour has been hell because I've just been sitting here, missing you. The guys said I should just let loose for a bit and I only planned to have one or two beers, but I got carried away. I'm sorry, Jessica. I'm so sorry." I said. I didn't want this to happen. I didn't want to lose her trust.

"I'm sorry for overreacting. I'm just scared you'll leave me for some red head or blonde bimbo." She confessed. Here we go again.

"I have told you over and over again how much I love you and how I never want to lose you. We are getting married, baby girl. It's because I want to spend the rest of my life with you beside me. I want you, Jessica. No one else. Just you. Please believe me. I'm completely in love with you." I said.

"And I'm completely in love with you too. I'm sorry for overreacting. You should be able to have fun. I'm sorry." I shushed her and laid in my bunk. I asked her how her day was going and how Mel was doing. We talked all the way until Jimmy's battery died.

"Fuck." I laughed lightly and looked for Jimmy's charger, plugging it in and making my way to the front.

"How's everything with Jess?" Johnny asked me.

"She's fine. But I need a new phone. I have no idea where mine went." I sat down on the couch and looked out the window, sending Jess a quick text on Jimmy's phone;

'I'll call you later, babe. jimmys phone died. I love you, Jess. have a good day. oh and I lost my phone so I'll be getting a new phone.

After a while, his phone buzzed and I got up, looking at what Jess said;

'okay. I love you too. get some rest. I'll see you soon.

I smiled at what she said. Even though she's miles away, she still looks after me. God I love her so much. I can't wait to get back home to her.

A/N:
i had a lot of free time today so i wrote this and i barely realized that this story is almost over. maybe about 2 or 3 more chapters and im debating if i should write a sequel or not.
