I Lost Me Long Ago

We spent the rest of the night cuddled up, and talking while countless movies played in the background. I was definitely not the interviewer anymore. He had taken on that role.

"I wanna know it all," he said. Hell if I could understand why, I am far from interesting. Least I thought so anyway.

I told him all about my being an orphan. How I grew up alone basically my entire life. I told him about Jacek, and his band taking me in as their photographer. And how the band's success is what caused Josh to find, and hire me.

I also admitted they were not my first interview. That truth be told I was just a HUGE fan and I really had done quite a few interviews, some even with extremely well know bands.

Thankfully he wasn't mad about it. Actually he seemed to completely understand. Then he went from asking about my life story to asking me what all I was interested in.

"Books, writing, photography..." I watched his eyes trace my lips as I spoke to him. "I'm a pretty boring person, I live a rather unappealing life."

He shook his head at me in protest, while his fingers danced along my side under my shirt.

"You have an extremely interesting life!" He paused, as if waiting for my rebuttal. Or perhaps just to read my reaction, but I just watched him.

"Not many people get the pleasure to do what they enjoy for a living. Especially people who started with such a hard lot in life."

"But it isn't like I worked for it."

"Bull! I beg to differ! You worked for it, honey. Otherwise you wouldn't be here!"

"I'll have to remember to thank Jacek for helping me kiss the M. Shadows!" We both chuckled, his ended sooner than mine, but only by seconds. Mine was interrupted by his lips pressing hard against mine.

After a moment or two he pulled away, stretching out and pulling me along with him, so that I was resting against his chest. As he stretched a groan passed his lips, quickly followed by a long, loud yawn.

I glanced up at the clock, it was nearly 6:30AM!

"I should really let you get some sleep. It's rather late, and Josh will kill me if he some how thinks your lack of talking is because I kept you up all hours of the night."

"And how would he figure that out?" He questioned as he started to wrap his arms back around me and curl up.

"Josh has his was, and he can read people. I can't hide a damn thing from him. He makes for a great interviewer."

"Surely your boss has more important things to do than our interview." I didn't respond. I wasn't sure if Josh would even be the one doing the interview. Chances were just as likely that he would send Mark or Allen to do it.

"But you are right however," he said as he kissed my forehead. "Sleep would be good."

I smiled at him.

"Should I go then?" He pulled me even closer to his chest.

"I thought you said you were staying?"

"I planned on it, but I don't want to keep you from getting rest."

"I'll sleep much better with you by my side, darlin."

I apologize for the shortness, but at least its another entry.

I'll try to get another up either later tonight, or tomorrow.
(Update on that, I did start writing it. I just haven't finished. Busy week, hopefully I'll have some time after class tonight.)
