I Lost Me Long Ago

"I couldn't feel luckier!" He plops himself down on the bed as I rounded the corner of the entryway into the room.

One thing I did hate about all hotels, they all seem to be just so poorly lit. I couldn't really see him that well. It didn't help that the only light he had on was a tiny lamp on the desk in the far corner of the room.

I glanced around before letting my eyes fall on his handsome figure on the bed. Even if he had every light on in here, it wouldn't make a difference. Poorly lit rooms, all of them.

"You feel lucky, huh?" I teased as I placed my bag on the floor just at the corner of the opening of the room.

"Yes I do." He never took his eyes off of me. "I was going on a lonely walk and I stumble upon my new favorite person in the world." I softly giggled and looked back up at him.

I sat myself down on the edge of the bed. He smiled at me, patting the bed for me to lay down.

"You couldn't look more uncomfortable unless you glued yourself to that wall over there."

"I'm not exactly the type of girl to do this kind of thing."

"What kind of thing, lay on a bed and talk to a guy." I looked down at him, trying to be sure if I was safe. If all of this was okay. As much as I wanted to kiss those lips, I didn't want to get hooked. I didn't want to be stupid and get feelings for someone who just viewed me as a passing ship.

"If anything here is going to happen its going to be me kissing you. I'm pretty sure you are on board with that. You seemed to like it enough." He cleared his throat as he pulled a pillow down and tucked it under his head. "I'm not going to push you further than you want to take this."

"Do you have a phone charger?" He blinked a few times the got up, he rummaged in a bag he had on the desk for a while.

"Damn lighting in these places... AHA!" He whipped out a charger and held it out to me.
I got up and crossed the room over to him taking the cord into my hand. Before I knew it my hand was quickly wrapped up in his.

"I wasn't wrong to assume you liked it, was I?" I looked at my hand in his, my hands were so small compared to his. It took nothing for his to engulf my entire hand in his. "Carsea," he whispered.

"No," I looked up at him. "No you wer..." My sentence was cut off my his lips.

His lush, minty lips. He kissed me rougher than before, kissing deeper. I couldn't help but sigh, my lips parted and it crossed my lips. Just as quickly as they separated his teeth grazed my bottom lip. Finally I came to and began kissing him back as well.

Gripping my free hand against his hip, pulling myself closer to him. He dropped my hand and the cord, and in one fatal swoop his hand was at the back of my head, his fingers becoming quickly tangled in my still messy hair.

He slipped his tongue into my mouth, softly dancing it along mine. Then he was back kissing me. It took everything in me not to explode right in his arms. I placed my hand on his neck and he slipped his arm around my back. Holding me tight against him.

I could feel his feet shuffling. He was starting to motion me to the bed.

I let him.

Before I knew it I was under him. His hips between my legs pressed closely against me. His lips never straying from my own. The minty smell was almost dizzying. The coolness from his lip ring caught me off guard, again. I expected it to have warmed with the heat our breath, atlas it was still cool. Causing me to shiver a little as he kissed me again.

"Are you okay," he whispered as his lips danced just millimeters from mine. I gave a stiff nod and open my eyes, to find his lovely hazel ones watching me. He backed away from me a little. Not removing his body, only far enough to allow our eyes the ability to take more of each other in.

"Seems I got a little out of control."

"Its fine." I said, and he smiled at me, his dimples shadowing in the dim lighting. "I enjoyed every bit." He beamed then, and leaned in and firmly kissed my forehead.

"Are you planning on stay the night, Carsea?" He lifted himself up off me and laid on his side right next to me. There was no space between our bodies, but he felt so much further away.

I yearned for him to be back.

"Only if I am welcome."

"Oh! You're welcome! More than welcome!"

I couldn't decided if it was a good thing or not, but I knew before the next few days were up, I would be head over heels in love with this man. That thought alone was enough to scare me!

Look at me go, two chapters in one night. However I do need to get my sleep now. I have to be up in like four hours.
