Chapter 29

Tammy sat on the floor of Lilly's room as the little girl brushed on some light blush. She wanted to help mommy look pretty, so Tammy let her help with the powder foundation, and blush. She smiled when Jena walked in the room from across the hall, ready to go. "Doesn't mommy look pretty?" Lilly asked excited when she seen Jena come in. "Yes she does," Kimmie said with a smile as she walked over to the pair, "If I had known you were helping, I would have let you do mine," Kimmie said crouching eye level with the girl, next to Tammy, "Maybe next time." she finished earning an excited nod from the girl. Tammy smiled and took in Jena's outfit. She was glad she had decided on jeans and a simple top. Cause honestly Tammy didn't even know what would happen, or where they would end up tonight. She liked to see where the road took them. "How tall is the heel on your boots?" she asked. "Couple inches." Kimmie replied a hint of confusion in her voice. "Can you run in them?" Tammy asked casually, holding back her smile as she kept her eyes on Jena's boots. "Yea-wait, what?" Kimmie asked, and Tammy looked at her with a grin, a hint of mischief in her eyes. "Can you run in them?" she asked again as they both stood up. Kimmie narrowed her eyes, "Why would I need to run?" she asked. Tammy gave her a casual shrug, "I don't know." she said her grin getting wider.

Kimmie couldn't help but smile, "Is it too late to cancel?" she asked, and Tammy laughed, "Sorry, you're screwed now." she told her. "Can I come too?" Lilly asked hopeful. "Not tonight, sweetie," Tammy told her crouching down, "We'll have girls night tomorrow, okay?" she asked, and the little girl nodded with a smile. "Besides, don't you have a date with a handsome man tonight?" Tammy asked, grinning when Lilly smiled wider and nodded. "You guys talking about me?" Brian asked, appearing in the doorway, with a cocky little smirk. "No, I said handsome man." Tammy said watching the smirk fade, her own coming out. She didn't mean it, but sometimes she just had to mess with him. She gave him a sympathetic pout as she walked over to him, and wrapped her arms around his neck, "Of course I was talking about you." she said, his smile coming back before she kissed him softly. They pulled apart when Lilly started to giggle, and Brian looked at her with a smile. "Ready to go princess?" he asked. "Yeeaah!" she said excited, running over too him, and he scooped her up. "You two have fun." Tammy said giving Brian one last quick kiss, and Lilly one on the cheek. "We will." Brian said before turning to walk away. "You," he said pausing to look at Tammy with narrow eyes and a half smile, "Stay out of trouble." he warned half joking, but somewhat serious. "What am I five?" Tammy asked pretending to be offended. "Sometimes I wonder." Brian chuckled turning away, not seeing the finger she gave him.

Kimmie chuckled, joining Tammy in the hall, "Sure I can't cancel?" she asked again, not that she would. She was too curious now. "Nope. I already told my friends you were coming." Tammy told her as they walked down the hall to the stairs. "Oh whose coming?" Kimmie asked as they started down the stairs. "Steph should be here-" she stopped midsentence as Brian opened the door to leave, "Right now." she smirked seeing Steph standing behind the door, phone to her ear, hand raised to knock. She greeted Brian with a smile, and looked to Lilly. "Don't you look pretty." she said admiring the little girls dress. "Daddy and me have a date." she told her smiling. Steph smiled, "That is so cute." she said as the two left. Tammy and Kimmie joined her at the door, and waited for her to get off the phone, "Yeah I just walked in the door," she said to whomever was on the other line, pausing for a moment after before a grin crossed her face, "Corey said not to get me into trouble." she told Tammy just to have her phone yanked out of her hand. "Excuse me, but what makes you think I would get her into trouble?" she asked again feining offense. "Previous girls nights." Corey stated kind of duh like. "Name one time I got her into trouble." Tammy demanded. "Okay, there was the time you accidentially sent that abandon warehouse on fire downtown, the time you spray painted the cop cars down at the police station, and then there was the time-" Tammy cut him off, "I said name one time. You need to work on your listening skills." she told him earning a laugh before she handed the phone back over to Steph.

Stephine ended the call shortly after, and was finally able to greet the girls. "Hey," she said giving Tammy a hug before looking at Kimmie, "So is this Matt's new squeeze?" she asked with a grin. "Yeah, this is Jena, Jena this is Stephine." Tammy said introducing the two. They greeted each other with hand shakes, and smiles before Steph turned her attention back to Tammy, "Kelly joining us?" she asked. "Yeah we gotta pick her up as soon as Dan shows up." Tammy told her. "I seen him outside getting the car ready." Steph told her, and Tammy nodded. "Dan's coming?" Kimmie asked. "Yeah he's driving us," Tammy told her, "He's the only one allowed to." she added with a smile. "Why?" Kimmie asked. "Cause he's fun, and doesn't try to talk me out of shit." she told her, her michievous grin returning just as Dan came in the door. "My ladies," he greeted with a smile, and open arms, "Ya'll ready to get this party fucking started?" he asked as he started to shake and thrust his hips around, dancing to music only he could hear. "See." Tammy said to Jena, and she couldn't help but smile. "I'm going to go let Matt know I'm leaving." she said, taking one more look at Dan dancing around, and smiling, shaking her head.

Kimmie walked down the hall to Matt's office, and knocked softly. "Come in." she heard his voice from inside. Kimmie poked her head in, and he smiled as soon as he laid eyes on her. "Hey," he said as she opened the door, and stepped in, "You guys leaving?" he asked standing. Kimmie nodded, "I'll walk you out." he told her sliding an arm around her waist. "I like that top," he told her as the left his office, and started down the hall, "It really makes those beautiful eyes stand out." he finished with a smirk, not having to look at her to know she was beat red, and she was. Kimmie looked down as soon as she felt her cheeks heat up. He's always complimenting her, and you would think she's gotten use to it by now, but she hasn't. Every time it makes her cheeks red, and her heart race. "Thank you." she said softly. Matt just smiled, and nodded, amusement crossing his face when he catches sight of what's going on at the end of the hall.

Kimmie followed his eyes, and smiled when she saw Dan still dancing only now he was sandwiched between Tammy and Steph as they danced with him. You could tell they were messing around with the goofy looks on their faces. "What the fuck are you doing?" Matt asked when they joined them by the door. "Gettin pumped up for girls night. Woo-hoo!" Dan cheered with a wide smile. Matt chuckled and shook his head. "Fucking dork." he muttered. "Fuck you, these ladies know how to party harder than you fucking pussies." Dan said drapping his arms across Steph and Tammy's shoulders. Matt chuckled and looked at Jena, "You sure you wanna go? Its not to late to back out." he asked. "Yes it is, she already tried." Tammy piped up. Matt narrowed his eyes at her, a playful smile dancing at his lips. "Fine, but don't be getting my girlfriend into trouble." he warned, and Tammy again was mocking offense. "You guys act like trouble follows me wherever I go." she said. "It does," Matt told her, "Just promise you'll stay out of trouble." he said his smile fading a bit. Tammy grinned, and Matt knew that wasn't going to happen. "You know I don't make promises I can't keep."

Matt sighed, and shook his head before turning back to Jena, "Don't forget what I said," he told her, wrapping his arms around her, "I don't care if it's 4am, call me and I'll come get you." he finished before giving her a gentle kiss goodbye. They pulled apart, and Tammy drug her away from him, "I promise to bring her back in one piece." she said with a grin as she drug Jena out the door. Matt smiled, "I guess it's something." he said watching the door close behind them. They walked to the car, and Tammy hopped in the front with Dan like always. She doesn't like making him sit up here by himself. It makes her feel like they're leaving him out. They pulled up a little while later at the Papa Roach house, and Tammy reached over to the steering wheel, and held the horn down. A few moments later, both Kelly and Jacoby appeared at the door. Tammy rolled her window down, and stuck her head out. "Come on turbo tramp!" she yelled out, interupting their kiss goodbye. "What the hell is a turbo tramp?" Steph asked chuckling. "I don't know," Tammy shrugged, "It just popped into my head." she grinned. Jacoby walked Kelly to the car, and gave her one more quick kiss before she climbed in. "Have fun baby." he said. "Always." she replied with a wide smile. He closed the door, and turned to head back into the house, but stopped, looking back at Tammy. "Don't be getting my wife into trouble." he told her. Tammy chuckled, "Why does everyone keep telling me that?" she asked feining confusion. "Because we know you." he stated. "We have never gotten arrested. I don't see what the big deal is." she said crossing her arms. "Only because one of us picks you up from wherever you're hiding from the cops." he said smiling. "And I thank you for that," she told him with a grin, "Now if you'll excuse us, we have a town to terrorize." she said before waving bye as she rolled the window up.

Tammy introduced Jena and Kelly, and were soon off to their first stop of the night. It was just some random packed night club where they could get the drinks flowing, and loosen up for whatever the night had in store. They found a table in the back, and Dan went to get them drinks. He came back, handing them all drinks, and Tammy a soda just for her to have it yanked out of her hand. "No, no, no," Steph said shaking her head, "I'm going home Sunday, and don't know when we'll see each other again. You're drinking." she stated with a pointed look. "Ooohhh, but I don't wanna." Tammy whined. "I don't care." Steph told her, not budging on the subject. "Fine." Tammy grumbled, and Dan immediately put a shot in front of her. He of course had to sit out on the drinking, since he was driving. Steph smirked in victory as they downed the shots. "This should be interesting. I haven't gotten to see you drunk." Kimmie said as another round of shots were placed in front of her. "Drunk Tammy's, fun Tammy." Kelly told her with a grin. Tammy shook her head, looking at Jena with all seriousness, "Drunk Tammy's, annoying Tammy." she said, and Kimmie chuckled. "When aren't you annoying?" Dan asked, smirking. Tammy shot him a glare, "You wanna be banned from girls night?" she asked pointing at him. "Who said that?" Dan asked playing dumb looking around, "Annoying? They're fucking crazy. You're not annoying at all." he said. Tammy let out a small smile, "That's what I thought."

The girls slipped easy into conversation as the drinks started flowing. Kimmie learned that both Steph and Kelly were gang wives even though she had already figured it out. Steph lived in Chicago, and was in town visiting relatives. Kimmie recognized Jacoby, so it was easy to figure out Kelly was a wife. She has never personally met him, but Shane has. If they had known Papa Roach and Avenged Sevenfold were "associates" they would have never sent Shane in with the risk of getting caught. It's too late to pull him out now. Unknown to all though, there was another risk at getting caught by sending him in there. "Okay, let me see if I got this strait," Kimmie said, they were telling her how they all met, "Your husband," she said pointing to Kelly, "Is your first love," she said looking at Tammy, receiving a nod, "And you had a fling with her husband," she said pointing to Steph. Tammy smiled, "I wasn't so much of fling as it was...." she paused while thinking of a better way to describe it, "Payback." Kimmie cocked a brow, and Tammy explained a little further, "My sperm donor owed Slipknot money. They took me to get it, and he sold me to Avenged to pay off his debt to them. Then I tricked Corey into paying it back so I could be free."

Kimmie looked at Steph a little shocked, "And you know all this happened?" she asked, and Steph nodded. "Corey told me about it. At first it bothered me how he was, but then I realized that's how he was, not who he is." she said, and Kimmie nodded in understanding. She was little surprised they were telling her all this stuff. No one has been this open about things, but Matt, and even he was still a little vague about some stuff. It made her wonder what changed. "So what happened with Jacoby, why did you break up?" Kimmie asked looking between Kelly and Tammy. "We didn't break up. I met him when I was 17, during the worst time of my life," Tammy started to explain, and Kimmie caught the sympathetic looks that quickly flashed across the other girls faces, "When I turned 18 the relationship had to end." Kimmie was even more confused, "Why?"
"Because of who they are." Who the the hell is they? "They?" Tammy smiled at her, "Lets go dance!" she said abruptly stopping the conversation, and quickly heading for the dance floor. Kimmie looked at the other two confused as they stood to join her. Kelly paused for a moment catching the look they were getting. "She doesn't like to talk about her past," she explained to her, "And the more she explained the deeper she would have to go." she said, and Kimmie nodded in understanding. Kelly smiled and stood back up, "You coming?" she asked her. "I'm going to get a drink first." Kimmie said finishing off her beer.

Kelly left her, and Kimmie made her way to the bar. She was actually having a good time, and didn't see what all the fuss was about getting in trouble. It's been pretty mellow. "Where's Jena?" Tammy asked when Kelly got to her and Steph. "She went to get a drink." she told her. Tammy nodded, and scanned the bar for her. She didn't like having any of her friends out of site. She always felt responsible for them, and she knew Matt would go ape shit on her if anything happened to Jena. Tammy's eyes narrowed when she spotted her, and the drunk fuck that was messing with her. She pulled her pant leg up, and unnoticed to the dancing bodies around, pulled out a gun she had in an ankle holster. She quickly pushed through bodies to the bar the whole time watching the guy try to rub up against her. It looked like he was trying to dance with her, but she kept trying to push him away.

Tammy grabbed the guy by the back of his shirt, and dug the barrel of her gun into his back. "You feel that?" she asked close to his ear, digging the gun into his back more "That's my gun, and thanks to my brother who can do some amazing shit with some weapons, not a single person would hear me pull the trigger." she told him. Kimmie watched the guys face wash with fear as Tammy whispered in his ear. She couldn't hear what she was saying, but he was scared. Maybe he should have left her alone when she told him to. "Is that what you want?" Tammy asked him, and he shook his head frantically, "Then I suggest you fuck off." she spat, shoving him away. The man didn't even look back as he darted for the door. Tammy giggled and Kimmie saw why the man was so afraid when she tucked her gun back in its holster. "You alright?" Tammy asked, "Yeah," Kimmie nodded, "yeah I'm good." Tammy smiled, "Good, I'm bored with this, lets get out of here." she said pulling Jena away from the bar to get the others.

Tammy sat up front again, and they made a quick stop for a couple bottles of wine. Kimmie was a little worried about having an open container in the car, but Tammy assured her they would never find it if they did get pulled over. They drove around for awhile just trying to find something else to do. "Dan stop the car." Tammy said suddenly. He did, and looked at her. "Back up, and turn down that street." she told him, motioning to the road on the right they just past. Dan did as he was told, and Tammy grinned as they went down the nice, well maintained neighborhood. "This is a nice, quiet, quaint little neighborhood," Tammy said with mischief in her eyes. "It is." Dan agreed knowing something was brewing, "I bet nothing exciting ever happens here." she said. "No probably not." Dan said a smile coming out. "You should stop the car, and pop the trunk." she suggested knowing he would. "Uh-oh." she heard Steph followed by the girls giggles as she climbed out of the car.

Tammy grabbed a baseball bat out of the trunk, and a heavy black bag she never seen before. She opened the back door, and plopped the bag in Jena's lap. "What the fuck is this? Its heavy." she asked pulling open the zipper. "I think it's a bowling ball." Tammy said when she got back in. "But none of you bowl." Kelly said. "Jimmy probably bought cause it looked cool." Tammy said with a grin. He was always buying shit he thought looked cool, whether he needed it or not. Kimmie pulled it out, and sure enough it was. "It looks like its covered in blood." she said holding it up with her fingers in the holes. It was white, and looked like it was splattered with blood. "What's the bat for?" Dan asked as he started to drive down the street again. Tammy grinned as she rolled down her window, "Pull up next to that mail box." she said sticking herself out the window. She readied the bat as Dan drove up on the mailbox, and gave it a hard swing. The wooden box sent splinters, and chunks of wood flying all over the road and yard. "Oh my God, I can't believe you did that," Kimmie said shocked, but still amused, "That's a federal offense." she added. Tammy sat back down in her seat, giving Jena a look that clearly said she didn't care. Kimmie chuckled, "Can I have a whack at it?" she asked earning a wide smile as Tammy handed the bat back to her.

Kimmie stuck herself out the window as Dan drove up on the next one. A metal mailbox she sent flying into the next house's driveway. They all took turns, and in total destroyed about six mailboxes before Tammy had another idea pop into her head, "Throw the bowling ball." she said excited looking back at Jena. "What?" Kimmie asked just making sure she heard her correctly "Throw the bowling ball." she repeated. "Think I should?" Kimmie asked looking around, and recieving smiles and nods. "Wait," Tammy said pulling open a drawer under her seat. She tossed Jena a rag and some gloves. "Put those on, wipe it off, and then throw it." she said. Just in case. Kimmie did, and stuck herself out the window again. She threw the ball at the next mailbox, but with the weight of it, it didn't quite make it.

Everyone sat in shocked silence, as Dan quickly got them off that road, before Tammy busted out laughing. "You totally smashed that guys windshield." she said between laughs as the others joined her. "That was awesome." she added, wiping away a stray tear. "I guess I didn't throw it hard enough." Kimmie chuckled. She felt kind of bad about it, but it was still funny. "To Wal-Mart, Dan." Tammy said, "But you hate Wal-Mart." he said heading that way anyway. "Yeah, but its the closest place to the court house." she told him, the mischief returning in her eyes. "I don't even want to know." he said shaking his head.

The four girls got a lot of stares as they stood in the check out with 10 packs of toilet paper, and 5 cartons of eggs. The guy at the register couldn't have been any slower. "Could you hurry this up," Tammy asked as he scanned the items, "That colon blow we drank earlier is about to kick in." she said trying hard not to laugh with the girls. The guy actually picked up the pace, and they were back to the car in no time. "To the court house." Tammy said as they pulled out of the parking lot. She missed out on the shenanigans of her younger years, and she's been making up for it.

Dan parked a block away, and Tammy told him to stay in case they had to leave quickly. The girls got out armed with TP and eggs as they walked the last block to the court house. Kimmie had never done anything like this before, and she had to admit she was enjoying the rush. "Okay, Steph, Kels, you TP the trees and shrubs," Tammy said, and looked to Jena, "We're going to egg the building, and then we'll all TP it." she finished with a grin. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Kimmie asked. She knew there were security guards inside. "Come on, whats the worst that could happen." Tammy asked, and Kimmie couldn't help but smile. "You know Matt told me to call him and he would come get me if you said that," Kimmie told her, and Tammy's face fell a little, "But I didn't say I would." she added watching her smile return.

They were 15 minutes into it, and had everything pretty much covered when a bunch of security lights came on, and two guards came running out. "Shit, Scatter!" Tammy yelled as the guards came at them. Kelly and Stephine took off together, and Tammy and Jena. They were on opposite sides of the building, and when Tammy and Jena tried to run in the direction of the car, they were cut off by one of the guards. Tammy grabbed Jena's arm and they quickly darted to the right, through some yards. Tammy pulled out her phone as they ran and called Dan, "Where are you, Kelly and Steph just hopped in." he answered. "Just get them home, we gotta loose the guards on our asses." she said looking back at the guards trailing behind. "Matt's not gonna like that." Dan said. "I take the heat, put me on speaker." she told him. Dan did and Tammy said by to the two girls promising to let them know when she got home.

Tammy and Jena ducked behind some bushes to catch their breath, and Tammy brought Jimmy's contact up on her phone. "Where are you?" he asked when he answered. Tammy quietly giggled. "I'll call JB for that. I need you to erase the security footage for the court house." she told him hearing a chuckle. "What did you do?" he asked. "Can't explain now, gotta run." she said when the guards spotted them in the bushes. They took off again, running through yards, and hopping fences. They stopped again in someone's backyard that was surrounded by a privacy fence. Tammy quickly called JB, before they were found again. "Leave your phone on, I'll track your GPS." he said upon answering. "Thank you." she said sweetly. Jimmy must have told him she would be calling him.

They lost the two guards hiding out in the yard, and JB showed up about 20 minutes later. "What did you do?" he asked when they got in. "Decorated the court house." Tammy said, and he chuckled. "You're going to get arrested one of these days." he told her, still smiling. "Nah that why I have you guys." she said giving him a quick peck on the cheek. JB just smiled and shook his head as he drove them home. The girls were all smiles and giggle when they walked in the door. Kimmie had to admit, she had fun. Their giggles quickly quieted when they walked in, and they tried to hide their smiles when they were met at the door my Matt and Brian, arms crossed, with not so happy looks on their faces.
