Him

A week later...

Saying bye to dad was fucking hard. He understood fully why I was coming home, mom couldn't cope without me and Brian. Like before, the flight was annoying as ever. Turbulence scared the crap outta me, I was already uneven about flying and that didn't help. Brian didn't know I was coming home, he didn't need to know yet. I just needed a few days with mom before I told him.

"Renee" I heard a shaken voice barely shout, it was my mom. I walked towards the arrivals where I saw her. She looked drained, her hair was screwed up, it looked nice but mom always made an effort with curling or straightning, it was never in an up do.

"Mom," I sighed crashing into her with a hug. She started crying, not as much as I expected thankfully.

"I've missed you so much, don't ever leave like that again"

"I'm sorry mom. How are you keeping?" I pulled away from the hug and held her hand as we walked to the car.

"I'm coping" she sniggered wiping her eyes. "It's weird without him, he's expecting me to get over him instantly but it's not working out"

"Brian won't expect that mom, he's a decent guy and he cares for you" I threw my suitcase in the boot of the car and slammed it shut with anger with how two faced I was being.

"I'm just gonna try to not think about him, my babys home now and that's all that matters" She kissed me before starting the engine.

When we pulled up on the drive, he, was sat on the doorstep waiting for us.

"Oh great" Mom mumbled under her breath. "Sweetie, I'm sorry will you go and talk to him? I really cannot face him"

"Me" I sighed. "Fine, whatever"

I took a breath and stepped out from the car. Brian was facing the door, but turned around when he heard the car slam. His eyes widened and his fists clenched.

"Renee" he whispered watching me walk up the driveway.

"Hi," he immediatly pulled me in for a hug and quietly told me he loved me in my ear. "I love you too"

"Your home," he gleamed brushing his hair from his face.

"Yeah I'll talk to you later about that - mom wants to know why your here"

"I got my baby amp upstairs" he couldn't stop smiling at me.

"Baby amp?"

"Yeah my tiny Marshall, can I go get it?" I unlocked the door and led us both in. As soon as we got upstairs, Brian pushed me against a wall and kissed me. "I'm all yours now Renee"

I stroked his cheek and let out a small smile.

"Your still a dick for breaking my moms heart," I kissed him again."Where's that amp?"

"Spare room" He raced through to grab it, and raced straight back again. "Matt knows. And, your welcome to visit or stay anytime he says"

"Jee.."

"Trust me"

"Okay, I'll call you. Come on," I pulled him downstairs and outside. Brian walked straight passed moms car ignoring her, and I heard a loud cry come from her.

This wasn't gonna be easy, but I knew what I wanted. And it was him.
