Two days later..

"Talk to me Brian" Jen finally spoke, breaking half an hour of awkward silence eating breakfast.

"What about?" I mumbled.

"You're not right," she sighed. "Are we okay?"

"I don't know, are we?" I slammed my silverware down and focused on her, pushing the plate away. The food was untouched. I had no appetite to eat, I just needed things over with.

"Brian your scaring me"

"Why? Why am I scaring you?" My voice grew a little louder, I had a feeling this would turn into a nasty argument.

"Because your being a complete fucking ass hole to me"

"Oh am I?" I snarled sarcastically, scraping away the plate full in the bin.

"I made you that, why are you wasting it?! See, this is what I'm talking about, your so selfish Brian. Sometimes I wonder why I put up with you" Jen snatched the plate away and chucked it into the sink, clashing with wine glasses. She always said and wondered why she is still with me, but only during fights. The break up will be harder than ever.

"I know how to solve that Jen," I said with sarcasm. "Simply don't put up with me"

"What do you mean" Her eyes teared a little.

"If you think that so much then well, you'll save me a job" I couldn't simply say it. There was bound to be a way that she could do this instead of me. It was so hard.

"What's gotten into you" Her yelling stopped, and it was replaced by cries.

"I'm done here" I shook my head and snatched my coat from the chair, and stormed out.

That usually happened after many arguments, but I doubt she'd understand that I was actually done with her.

Renees POV

"Dad, I think I'm ready to go home" I sighed driving to the mall with him.

"Your ready? Baby you've just got here"

"My job, at the bar, well I got raised up, and, I'm more permanent if I go back" I lied.

"But sweetie, you wanted to be a teacher, your not gonna do that if yout stuck in a bar - you gotta go college" Dad grabbed my hand and occasionally looked at me, but more focused on the road.

"I'm changing my mind about that y'know?"

"I remember, me and mom bought you a chalk board, and you used to teach us how to spell, teach us how to add up, then drawing - baby you've wanted to be a teacher ever since you was 5 years old, you really wanna let it go?"

"I just need to think. I'm not sure I like it here, I miss home" Dad found a parking spot, and turned to me with a small smile.

"If thats what you want. I just promise to come visit you okay? And next month I'll be down for your twentieth"

"Ok dad, thank you"
