Brians POV

"But, why why would she leave?" Jennifer cried. It broke my heart to see her upset, but it also broke my heart that Renee had gone.

"Baby she just wanted to see her dad" I tried to comfort her as much as I could. Shame I knew exactly why she left. I remember her telling me a while back that she had no intentions of going to Mississippi. Her dad was with someone she didn't like, and he chose her instead of his daughter.

"I'll go get her tomorrow" Jen wiped her eyes and took a breath.

"No you won't. If this is what she wants then let her, she's 19 she can make her own decisions. Maybe she needs time" I gave her a hug and kissed her head. I couldn't stop thinking about Renee. I wasn't sure whether I regretted my choice.

"But she's my baby Brian, I need her back"

"And she'll come, cmon let's go meet up with Johnny he'll be waiting" I grabbed our coats and the keys.

"Johnny?" She asked. "Why?"

"I organised to meet him and I'm not leaving you on your own upset, come on" I opened the door for her waiting to leave. "Jen I'm already late cmon"

"Does he know I'm coming?" She seemed uneasy about meeting up with Johnny for some reason. It wasn't as if they hated each other.

"No, but it won't matter"

"I'll stay here and tidy up, it's okay"

"Stop being ridiculous, you're coming" I grabbed her hand and led her to my car. "Why don't you want to see him?"

"I- uh, I don't know it's just I don't really know him and it will be very awkward"

"You do know him? If Christ is somethin' it's definatly not awkward, you'll be fine" God knows why she was acting so weird about meeting up with Johnny.
