"So how's my angel been?" Dad asked. He'd took me out for lunch at a local diner where we used to always go as a kid.

"Good, good" I smiled taking a few gulps of the icy cold pepsi.

"You gonna tell me exactly why you've come down here? We both know it wasn't to see me"

"Of course I want to see you Dad"

"Okay let me rephrase that. You can't stand my wife so that means avoiding me"

"Rachel and I have our differences but that has nothing to do with me coming to see you!" I said raising my voice a little.

"Baby doll, I'm your dad. I always have and I always will be here for you," He held my hands from across the table. "I love you sweetie"

"Yeah, I love you too daddy" I smiled.

"Please tell me what's happening darling"

"It's just, issues with moms other half too" I confessed. "I guess"

"Oh? You not like him huh?"

"Uh, quite the opposite" I sighed taking my hands from dads.

"You like him. Well, what's the problem? You just giving them some space or..?"

"Uh yeah sure let's go with that.." I raised my eyebrows.

"Renee is there something your not telling m-"

"Okay who's got the hamburger with curlys?" The waitress came with two plates full of food.

"Yeah that's me" Dad said.

"So you must be the lasagne, enjoy your meals!"

I think these are really short.. you guys want them longer or are they super fine?
