Right Where I Belong

Elise’s POV

My second week at Tyler’s work was even more interesting then the first one but the problem was that Jimmy wasn’t here.
We had spent the last Sunday together, he picked me up and brought me to the beach we were talking and having fun, he invited me for dinner and we watched the sun go down over the ocean.
It was perfect.

On Monday and Tuesday Tyler and I worked on several projects of “soon to be” customers. I knew he wanted to ask me about Jimmy and the party and I saw him often looking at me as if he wanted to say something but then he stopped.
We were preparing the paper work for Zack’s house and if I understood Tyler correctly we would meet with him beginning of next week to sign the final contracts.
And I had a little hope that Jimmy would be there as well.

Wednesday morning I received a message from Jimmy and he asked me if I wanted to meet with him after work.
My phone wasn’t working quiet right and I tried to type a message back but mostly it failed to send.
After 1 hour of trying to send a message my phone buzzed in my hand and I looked at it shocked.
Who would call me?
I looked nervously around but I was alone in Tyler’s office.
“Hello?”
“Elise?”I heard Jimmy’s voice through the phone.
“Yes, it’s me.”
“Why are you not answering my message? Are you in a meeting or something?”
I sighed, “No.. I tried to write you back but my phone… I couldn’t reply… My phone is just not working right, it’s pretty old and…”
“Oh alright, then I will buy you a new one.” Jimmy said as if it was already fixed.
“No.. no. It’s alright, I will just let Tyler have a look at it. Maybe it’s just something wrong with the settings.”
“But I could buy…”
“James… No!”
“Alright, alright… So do you have time this afternoon?”
“Yes, I think so. What do you want to do?” I smiled at his question.
“Hm.. I could pick you up from work, when I am done here… Around 5?” Jimmy asked.
“Sounds good. Then we will meet here at 5.”
“See you later, beauty.” He hung up and I couldn’t help my grin.
I was so excited to see Jimmy again.

“I’m really glad to see you so happy, Elli.” I was startled when I suddenly heard Tyler’s voice behind me.
“I’m sorry... I shouldn’t have answered the call here at work.”
“No.. don’t be, Elli. It’s okay. I just.. I see how happy you are. But be aware, shit do I really need to pull the big brother speech here, but I guess I have to.”
I didn’t know what he meant but he turned around and closed the door.
“Elise, I really like Jimmy, I do. I am just afraid that you could get hurt… And I don’t want you to be hurt. Just be careful…” Tyler said and leaned against his desk in front of me.
“What do you mean?” I asked him confused.
“I mean… Jimmy seems like a nice guy and everything I just don’t know if he is the right one for you… Elise from our talks I know that he is your first boyfriend and you are so innocent and then you and a guy with a lifestyle like Jimmy?!”

Tyler confused me more and more, what does he mean… Was he talking about Jimmy’s tattoos or maybe the piercing? I didn’t know that Tyler would be so judgmental because of the outer appearance. I knew Jimmy and I looked a little misplaced together but I liked his tattoos and I didn’t care that some people might look strange at him.
“I didn’t know that you would be so smattered with your opinion about him. I like him and he likes me that’s what matters. Not what other people might think…” I was defensive and felt like I had to defend Jimmy.
“No, that’s not it Elise… wait a second. Do you know who Jimmy is? Have you talked about what he is doing for a living?” Tyler asked suddenly.
And to be honest no we haven’t talked about it.
“I.. no.. not yet. Why? What does this have to do with everything?” I asked him surprised.
“Just talk to him about it maybe that will make you a little cautious about him, alright. And Elise I am not saying this to destroy anything or make you feel bad, alright?”
“Alright, I will talk to him. But I don’t know why that would change anything.”

Jimmy’s POV

“Alright guys, I’m gone.” I announced after we were done at the studio for today.
“Wait.. Where are you going?” Brian asked and grabbed my arm.
“I’m picking up my girlfriend from work.” I looked at the clock, shit it was 4:30 and I needed to hurry if I wanted to get something else settled beforehand.
“We could hang out together… what’d you say?” Brian tried again.
“Wouldn’t you feel like the third wheel if you came along?” I asked him with raised eyebrows.
“Come on Jimbo, I could organize me a girl on the way? Then we have a double date.” Brian smirked.
“God, can anybody be more cocky then you? But thanks for the offer. I rather spend the evening with her alone …” I pulled my arm from his grip and walked towards the door.
“And what about a party, since you all seem to have girls around now, I wanna meet them and check them out… I mean… not check them out the way you think I mean… ah who am I lying too, you know how I mean it.” Brian winked at me and asked into the round.
I rolled my eyes, “Sure, why not.”
“I’m gonna ask Jess if she can take a day off at the weekend…” Matt immediately pulled his phone out and began to type a message. So his date must have been good.
“How was your date anyway? You didn’t say anything? Come on Matt… tell us!” Zack said and smiled.
“Nope, a gentleman never kisses and tells...” Matt replied and continued to type his message.
“Lacey and I have time.” Johnny yelled from the couch in the back.
“I’m gonna ask Kim, I will see her later today anyway…” Zack grinned.
“Yeah, so it’s settled… Saturday at my house, POOL PARTY!” Brian smiled self-satisfied.
“So you really meant check out.. if you want a pool-party, huh?” Zack looked at him skeptical.
Brian just smirked and grabbed his guitar and that was my moment to go.

When I arrived at exactly 5 at the real estate company I walked towards the entrance and directly to Tyler and Elise’s office.A lot of people were looking at me when I walked towards the office, but I was used to it.
Either they knew who I was or they looked at me because my tattoos were showing.
I saw Elise sitting at his desk. I knocked on the door.
“Come in.” Tyler said and I walked right in.
I closed the door behind me and Elise and Tyler looked up to me.
I walked to Elise and kissed her lips, I missed her kisses already and it had only been two days since we saw us.
Shit, I was so screwed…
“Hey Beauty.” I pecked her lips again.
“Hi..” she smiled at me and I couldn’t get enough of her smiling face.
“Hey Jimmy.” Tyler interrupted me and Elise staring contest.
I stood up straight again, “HI Tyler, you alright, man?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. You are here to kidnap my sister, or what?” Tyler said with a small smile.
“Yes, exactly. Are you ready? Or should I wait outside?”
“No, we are done. Have fun, I have a meeting right now so I have to go. See you later Elli.”, Tyler kissed her cheek and went out of the office.
Elise put the papers away and got up from the desk. I pulled her into my arms and kissed her thoroughly.
She sighed into my mouth when our tongues met and I smiled at her lips.
“So what are we doing now?” Elise asked me.
“I will kidnap you and bring you to my house, but before that we will eat something or have you eaten already?”
“No, I haven’t but maybe we could eat at your home, I am not really dressed for eating somewhere else…” she said and I looked her up and down then I looked at my outfit.



She was dressed in a white blouse and dark tight jeans and I was wearing a grey shirt and ripped jeans, if someone was not dressed for eating out it would be me and not her…
“Fine with me. But you look amazing, beauty.”I kissed her forehead and intertwined our hands.
I couldn’t wait to spend more time with my Elise.
