Right Where I Belong

Jimmy’s POV

I walked back into the living room area and searched for Elise, but I couldn’t find her right away.
After I scanned the whole room I found her in the kitchen with Zack’s friend Collin, “Come on Elise, a shot… for me.. I won’t tell big bro that you drank alcohol if that’s what you are worried about.”
Collin stood way too close to Elise for my taste and I moved forward.
“No, thanks Collin, I don’t drink…” Elise replied and pushed the glass away.
She doesn’t drink… I should remember that!
“Come on Elise, one shot?! Don’t be a buzz-kill…” Collin thrust the glass in her hand and I could see that she was uncomfortable, so I will help her out…

I quickly walked between them and grabbed the glass from her hand gulped the content from the glass down noticed it was vodka and pushed the glass back into Collins hand.
“Thanks man, but my girl and I have some other plans now.” I grabbed Elise hand and without another word dragged Elise away from the kitchen and living room.
“James?” Elise asked quietly behind me.
“Yes?” I answered but still without stopping.
“Where are you going? There is only the storage room…” I looked around, shit this big ass house didn’t have a quiet area to talk.
“Okay, then tell me where we can talk alone?”
“Hm… do you want to go outside or to my room?” Oh god, how could she suggest something like that… her room - a bed - me and her alone… oh yeah my thoughts were running wild again.
“Jimmy?” she asked again.
“Huh? Oh… what you would prefer…” Please say your room, please say…
“Okay, come on upstairs then.”
Now, she was the one dragging me along, up the stairs when I looked down at the people from the party I saw Zack dancing with Kim and he looked up to me and game be a smirk and a thumbs up, I shook my head at him.

Elise stopped at her door and I was excited to see her room. But there was not much to be seen, the room was nice and big but without any personal items which was a little sad.

“Please take a seat.” Elise said and motioned to the bed but seemed a little uncomfortable.
“Do you always invite boys to your bed right away?” I tried to joke but when I saw her face I knew that this was totally the wrong thing to say.
“I.. don’t..” she started and her cheeks were red again.
“Sorry, Elise… I was trying to make a joke, please don’t take me serious.” I walked towards the bed and sat down and motioned for her to sit beside me.
“I need to say it again, you look amazing, that dress.. wow..” I looked at her again and she sat down next to me but with so much space between us that at least two other people could sit there.
“I bought it yesterday...” she looked at her hands which were folded in her lap.
“You chose well… It fits you perfectly.”
“I hoped you would like it.” She said softly and looked into my eyes.
“You thought about me while buying it?” That made my heart swell, so she thought about me as I was thinking about her.
“Yes.” She smiled shyly.
“Why didn’t you tell me that Tyler is your brother?” I asked her maybe that would loosen her up a little bit.
“I don’t know… why?” she looked confused and had no idea how much trouble I had thinking she was in a relationship.
“Because I thought that Tyler and you were a couple. I thought I was flirting with a girl that was in a relationship, that I was trying to pinch Tyler’s girlfriend away from him…”, as soon as this words were out of my mouth I regretted saying them, I knew that we haven’t talked about anything like this but I felt so connected to her that I already made up my mind and wanted to know her better the problem was that I didn’t know what she was thinking and now I could have ruined everything.
I looked up to Elise’s eyes and they were wide open, maybe in shock or surprise I couldn’t be sure.
“You were flirting with me?” Elise said finally.
That was what was stuck from my sentence? And she hadn’t noticed my flirting and my pull towards her?!

Elise’s POV

I stared at him with surprise, he was really interested in me, in me as a woman?
“Gods, Elise… I know that we haven’t met often but I felt so connected to you from the first moment I laid my eyes on you… Oh with that something crossed my mind again… wait a second, don’t go away. I will be right back.” Jimmy got up and held his hands out to motion I should stay put.
What was he doing now? He really liked me? I was so surprised and flattered and I liked him too, he seemed different than others but I didn’t know how to tell him that and how it would go any further…
The door opened and Jimmy came back inside with a smile on his lips and I smiled back.
“The present I got for you. I hope you don’t have it already… I didn’t know… but it..” Jimmy looked nervous.
He sat down next to me again but this time he was sitting so close that our thighs were touching, my breathing became quicker and my stomach felt weird. What was this feeling are these the so called butterflies, I read about?!
He handed the gift to me and looked at me with tension radiating from him.
“May I?” I motioned to the gift in my hands.
“Yes, please.”
I un-wrapped the gift and when I looked at the book in my hands I couldn’t believe it. My cheeks began to burn even more and I looked at him taken aback.
“And do you have it already?”
My throat was dry and I couldn’t swallow I was so embarrassed.
“Elise? What is wrong? Is it not right?” Jimmy asked nervous now.
“I… Jimmy… this is so embarrassing…” I finally got out.
“What? Why?” Jimmy looked totally confused.
I looked down on the book, at our first meeting on the college I was reading this love romance and I dropped it. Jimmy had picked it up for me and gave it right back, I hadn’t thought that he had a chance to read the title or notice it at all, but it seemed I was totally wrong because now in my hand I held the second book of the series. It wasn’t released yet only a few copies were given away to special readers and I had one of these.
“Shit, I wasn’t sure if I remembered it correctly and I thought you looked so concentrated so you liked it and…”
“Jimmy… I don’t know what to say… It is the right book. But that you remembered … and I mean it is a love romance… that you would buy something like that.. and then for me?” I didn’t know what to do I just threw myself in his arms.
Nobody had ever given me a gift since my parents died and besides my brother.
I know it was small gesture but to me it meant so much.
Jimmy hugged me tight and held me close to his body and it felt so good again I felt the butterflies in my stomach and they were flying wildly around.
“It was my pleasure. Why would I not buy it? Only because it is a women’s book. I don’t care.. maybe you wanna read it to me someday.” He smiled and let go of me.
“Oh no, definitely not. But thank you so much.”
“You are welcome.” Jimmy looked deep into my eyes and I was just too afraid of what would happen now so I began to talk.
“Do you want to go outside? I have a balcony with stairs leading into the backyard?”
Jimmy seemed to need a moment to answer my question, “Sure, lead the way.”

Jimmy’s POV

I should have taken that chance and just kissed her, why was I hesitating at all and now she wants to get outside, damn the chance was over…
She went to the door of her balcony opened it. I followed her and we went down the winding staircase until we arrived in the garden.
I took her hand we went towards the small path around the garden.
“It’s nice here isn’t it?” Elise said and looked up to me.
Her lips looked so inviting again I knew if I didn’t kiss her today I would regret it and couldn’t think about anything else the entire night.
“Elise?” I stopped her and she turned towards me.
“Yes?” she looked up to me again and I smiled.
“I can’t think about anything else, can I… can I kiss you?”
“You… No.. I don’t think that is a good idea.”, she looked away.
“Oh you don’t.. want me to…” Wow, my heart squeezed painfully, she might not have the same feelings I was developing for her.
“NO no… Jimmy… Oh damn this is so embarrassing you know… I have no experience and you won’t like it…” she finally said and let go of my hand.
“What? You have no experience?” Was she really saying what I thought she was… she has never been kissed? I guessed that she was innocent in some parts but this innocent… never kissed that means never done anything more as well which meant that she was a virgin a virgin in every meaning of the word.
“Yes, no experience… If you want to find yourself someone else now I will understand.” Elise said quietly. What does she mean?
Gods, why did I feel pride and joy when I think that I would be the first one to kiss her ever?!
“Elise my beauty, I don’t want to find someone else, I am here for you. May I just show you how it works? We can go slow…”
“I don’t know…” Elise repeated but I knew she was curious.
“Okay, we start easy. A small kiss on your lips.” I told her and pulled her closer to me, she looked at me with her eyes wide open again.
“You ready?” , she liked her lips and I stifled a groan.
“I think so yes.” Elise replied.
“Close your eyes.”
“But I…”
“Close your eyes, Elise.”
“Alright.”
When I saw her eyes were closed I leaned towards her and pressed my lips softly onto hers just for a short moment then I moved back and she sighed.
She opened her eyes and blinked, “That was nice.” she smiled and I needed to repress the urge to kiss her again right away.
“Next step?” I asked her and hoped she would say yes.
“Yes.”
“Okay, close your eyes and just do what I do.”
“Hmm..” , her eyes were closed again and I pulled her even closer to my body.
I felt her breasts press against my body and I leaned my head a little to the side to get a better access to her mouth. I pressed my lips to hers after she seemed comfortable with that I licked with my tongue on her bottom lip, she didn’t allow me entrance right away so I licked again and sucked on her bottom lip, she opened her mouth and sighed and I took the chance to slip my tongue into her mouth. I stopped the kiss and was slightly out of breath and looked at Elise, her eyes were still closed and her lips were a little swollen from my kiss.
“Wow”, Elise opened her eyes and smiled, “We have to do that again…”
She stepped forward and I stopped her, “Wait… Elise…”
“Oh did I do something wrong?” Elise looked nervous and so cute that I lost the thought of why I wanted to stop her anyway… when the throbbing hard-on in my pants came to my mind again.
“No no… the opposite, you are doing everything way too right.” I grinned.
“What does that mean?” , she frowned at me.
“ELISE? JIMMY?” Tyler called from the terrace.
“We are here…” Elise yelled.
“Zacky and Kim want to leave and asked if you will join them or if they should take a cab?”
“Oh,I should go.” I said to Elise even if I didn’t want to.
“Please stay…” Elise looked up to me and I couldn’t say no to her.
“Alright, I will stay a little longer.” And with that Elise’s smile grew even wider.
“They need to call a cab!” I yelled back to Tyler and he nodded.

We walked another 15 minutes outside and it was already getting really late, I looked at my phone, shit after 3 in the morning and I still had to drive back.
Elise yawned next to me, “Come on beauty, we are getting back inside and I will drive home now.”
“Maybe you want to stay? You don’t have to drive now… Tyler has enough guest rooms…” Elise said but if I would stay I wouldn’t want to stay in any of the guest rooms but Elise was just too innocent to know that.
We walked inside and still a lot of people were around the house and a pair was making out on the couch and I couldn’t see Tyler around.
I didn’t want to leave her alone with so many strangers in the house, “Alright, I will stay. But only with you in your room.” I just hope I could keep my hands from her and didn’t scare her away.
“But there is only one bed…” Elise said a little shy.
“I know.” I grinned, this night would be exciting and frustrating all at once.
