I awoke the next morning tangled in covers and sheets. Peeling the covers back, I was greeted with the sun through pulled back curtains. Sighing, I sat up and realized that Brian had been in here while I was sleeping and opened the curtains. I walked over to the closet and grabbed a change of clothes. Black skinnies, Carach Angren T-shirt and red flats. Reaching the bathroom, I shimmied out of my old clothes and turned on the shower. I figured it was in my best interest not to turn around and look in the mirror. I quickly took my shower and plugged my flat-irons into the wall to heat while I got dressed. My hair was in dire need of straightening, and my face some make-up. Finishing with my face and hair, I slid on my shoes and headed downstairs. Just as I thought, Brian had long since been awake, as he was in the kitchen area making breakfast. He grinned with his chocolate eyes, all dark and intense. My eyes couldn't help but wander down to his shirtless torso. He must've caught me staring, because he cleared his throat.
"Morning sleepy head." he smirked.
"Morning." I replied.
"Sorry about the curtains. Thought you could use a little sunlight." he smiled as he flipped over a pancake.
"Gee, thanks." I smirked back.
Walking to an overhead cabinet, he pulled down two plates and two cups. I sat on one of the stools as he loaded our two plates with pancakes, bacon and fruit. Sliding a plate towards me, he poured us each some orange juice. I thanked him as he took a seat next to me.
"So," he began. "I thought it would be nice to invite all the guys and their girls over today. Kinda give you an opportunity to meet Kenna, Kimberly and Leana. What do you say?"
"Sure. What's the plan for all of us?" I questioned.
"Well, we all thought it'd be nice to go out to the mall, have you girls go off and do your thing while we do ours. Then we'd meet up at the food court and head on home to have a mini-party here."
"Sounds great. When are we leaving?"
"I'm gonna go get dressed and the others should be showing up soon, so not long from now. Also, it's pretty hot outside. You should wear shorts"
Just as we finished talking, he stood to take our plates to the sink. He trotted off up the stairs to his bedroom as I heard the door click. Taking his advice, I took a few more swigs of my orange juice and headed ustairs to find my red and black shorts. I stripped from my skinny jeans and slid on my shorts. I figured I'd change shirts while I was at it. I decided to check my hair and makeup before heading out again, just to make sure I looked good. While fixing my eyeshadow I heard a soft knock on my door.
"Yes? I'm in the bathroom." I yelled.
"Hey, Zacky and Kenna said they're about to pull up. Johnny and Kimberly aren't too far behind." Brian said, glancing at the mirror.
"Oh, okay. I'm ready." I answered, turning to face him.
"How do I look?" I asked, holding my arms out for him to examine my outfit. I saw him slowly examine me, his eyes traviling from my legs up to my chest where he lingered for a bit, then up to my eyes.
"You uh, you look beautiful." he stammered. Downstairs we heard the doorbell ring.
"I'll uh, I'll go get that."
He quickly headed downstairs and I followed suit. Opening the door, we were greeted with the sight of Zacky and a beautiful girl with jet black hair and a nose piercing. She was smiling and grabbing on to Zacky's waist as they crossed the threshold. She stepped past Zacky and gave Brian a quick hug before noticing me.
"HI! I'm Kenna. It's so nice to meet you! I got an ear full about you from Zacky and Val." she exclaimed as she pulled me into her arms for a hug.
"You're extremely beautiful, oh my gosh. Your hair is awesome!"
"Thank you, so much. It's nice to meet you too. Your piercing is epic." I complimented as we sat on the couch.
About five minutes later, Johnny and Kimberly pulled up. Johnny stepped in first as Kimberly put out a cigarette. She yelped as she saw Kenna, then shortly thereafter we were introduced. She was the complete rocker chick. She had long, purple hair, gauges, tattoos piercings. She seemed like the kinda chick that could drink all the guys under the table and still be sober. Anyways, she marveled over my hair and "bitchin'" I looked. We all sat down and waited for the others to arrive. About fifteen minutes later, Jimmy and Leana and Matt and Val showed up. We all sat around a bit and had a quick drink before heading out to the mall.
I could tell by the mix of relationships that this would be one wild day.
