Crossroads

The five of us girls piled into one car, the boys in the other. Kimberly was the driver (much to everyone’s dismay,) and Val rode shotgun. In the back sat Leana, Kenna and I. Leana being the only one I hadn’t yet met started firing off the questions.

“So how old are you?”

“Twenty-three.” I replied.

“Oh yay, another drinking buddy!” she chirped.

We all laughed at her excitement and started on talking about the boys and how they were taking a break from touring and writing songs. It still felt a little weird to me that I was now living with a rock star and hanging out with his friends after he found me on a beach. We pulled up into the parking lot and Kimberly asked me a few questions to figure out what stores to take me to.

“Okay girl, what are you into?” she asked as we wandered inside the mall. The boys were still roaming around looking for a parking lot.

“Well I’m into Pantera, NOFX, Def Leppard, Carach Angren, Darkthrone, Paramore, Motorhead and the works.” I replied.

“Holy shit I think I love you!” She blurted.

Laughing, we all stepped inside the mall and found a store to go into. Spotting a Victoria Secret, Kenna snatched us all up and ran for the door. I glanced back and saw the guys watching us go in. Johnny and Zacky got excited, Matt grinned and Jimmy just rolled his eyes and laughed. But Brian's reaction? His was the one that made me blush crimson red. He looked directly at me, not breaking eye contact at all. The look in his dark eyes read curiosity and lust. Part of me wanted to run out of the store and into a damn Build-a-Bear or something, and the other wanted me to go in and pick the sexiest lingerie money could buy. Before I could make my own decision I was snatched inside the store and off toward some racks.

"Ooooh, look at this one!" Kimberly gushed. The skirt was black with pink trimming and skulls on it. It came with solid black and pink thigh highs, a black push up and a fishnet top. It looked like it'd be nice on Kimberly. Honestly, the pink and black wasn't my style. I walked over toward a different rack and something caught my eye. The set was a purple and black lace mini dress, (emphasis on mini) that was see through everywhere except the stomach and chest. It also came with solid black thigh highs. Piking it up, I debated whether or not I should get it. I had money, but I wanted to save it up.

"Now THAT would look HOT on you!" Kenna squealed causing Val and the rest of the girls to comme see what the big fuss was.

"My my my, that's sexy!" Kimberly exclaimed.

"You need to take your little ass in there and try it on!" Val stated, pushing me towards a dressing room.

Discarding my clothes, I stepped inside of the lingerie and hooked the thigh highs up to it. I felt sexy, powerful, perfect. I looked in the mirror and noticed how it defined my curves and played against the color of my hair. All I needed was a pair of heels.

"Hey, we're waiting!!" Kenna yelled.

I stepped out of the dressing room and stood before the girls and the mirrors. All of their jaws dropped as they eyed my outfit. From the looks on their faces, I assumed I chose well.

"Okay, umm, WOW. You look....WOAH." Kimberly said.

"Stay RIGHT here. I'm gonna go find some shoes!" Kenna exclaimed, darting out of the opening and over to the shoe section.

We stood around chatting, waiting for Kenna to come back and we heard some voices. Right away I recognised them. Matt was talking first and then...

BRIAN'S P.O.V

"Dude you should've gotten the--"

Holy shit.

I cut off in the middle of my sentence as I took a look up at the girls. Johnny had the bright idea of going to see the girls so we could roam around together. The first thing I saw was purple and black, my two favorite colors. Following the body up, I started to notice locks of red hair. It was Chloe. She turned around, startled to see us all, but me in paticular. Her face flushed red as Kenna pushed past to hand her a pair of heels. I didn't want to be rude ,but I couldn't stop staring at her. She looked absolutely beautiful in that lingerie. I felt my stomach tighten when she bent over to place a heel on one foot.

"Brian. BRIAN! EARTH TO FUCKING BRIAN!" I heard Leana scream while snapping in my face.

"What?" I growled, upset that she interrupted my thoughts and my view.

"It's pretty obvious you're interested. Why don't you say something?" she whispered as Chloe went to go change.

"It's a bit low of me to tell her she's attractive while I walk in on her modeling lingerie. It would give the wrong impression." I told her.

"Since when do you care about impressions?" She laughed.

"Since I first saw her." I retorted, rolling my eyes at her snide comment.

I was so sick of being classified a certain way because I was 'Synyster Gates'. That's just a fucking stage name, yet no one seems to understand that. Synyster Gates is who I am only on stage. He's a flirt, womanizer, drunken axe-grinder. People forget that I'm also Brian Haner Jr, a man who would actually love to settle down, hang with my friends and just be human.

Chloe came out of the dressing room and scurried past me, blushing as she did so. Her and the girls walked p to the counters and purchased what they picked. The guys were murmuring about how Chloe looked and how they would be getting lucky tonight and all I could do was be happy for them.

I really did want Chloe, but the question was when do I tell her?
