No More Tears, No More Pain, and No More Fears
One Last Performance
I'm so excited to bed heading out to California with my children. I think when I told them, they were ready t leave right then and there and they wanted Rex and Raphael to go with us but I had to explain the reason why they wouldn't be coming with us. Tonight is my last performance at the Faded Cross but I plan on returning for surprise performances in the future. I strapped my kids into their car seats and sat down in the drivers waiting for Rex to join us. She came out of the house locking the door behind her before getting into my car. I drove to the Cross and parked in my usual place and Rex helped me get Devon and Owen out. We walked into the building and I sat them down at a table getting some toys out for them and watching as people poured into the Cross.
"You ready?"
"Yeah but I hate that this is my last performance." I said as she sat down.
"I know but you are always welcomed here."
"Thanks" I said smiling.
"No problem. Now get up there and give these people one hell of a performance." I nodded and Jason took my place to watch my kids as I walked onto the stage and grabbing the microphone.
"How ya'll doing tonight" I asked and the crowd seemed hyped up more than usual.
"I reget to announce that tonights performance will be my last. I've decided to go back to California and see my family that I hold dear to my heart. I will say that this experience will last forever and I will never forget you fans. This first song of the night is called Seize The Day by Avenged Sevenfold." I said and the music started playing. I can't wait to see the family I left all those years ago. More A7X songs flowed through my veins as each song came on.
"Thank you for all your support. You guys are awesome goodnight!" I said before walking off the stage and over to Jason as he held my sleeping kids in his arms. I took them carefully making sure not wake them as Rex and I put them into the car. I drove us back home and Rex helped me put them into their beds and I began packing our things. When I finished packing, I set my alarm and laid down in bed drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
"You ready?"
