"You stupid fucking bitch!" Xaiver punched me hard in the face making mefall to the ground and hol my bloody mouth. He kicked me repeatedly in he ribs and I could feel them crack in several places.

"I'll teach you to fucking back talk me." he kicked me a few more times in my now injured ribs

"You ever hit me again, I swear I'll leave!" I said boldly. He bent down to me and placed a knife to my throat.

"You ever think about fucking leave me, I'll kill you and that bastard child you're carrying. That's a goddamn promise." He kicked my ribs once more before standing to his feet.

I shot up in bed with sweat covering my head. Why the fuck do these nightmares keep coming back?? Xaiver hasn't been around me or my children! I pulled myself up out of bed and grabbed the clothes I laid out last night and went into the bathroom locking the door behind me. As I let the water warm up I stripped off my clothes and looked at myself in the mirror. The healed bruises I had could be faintly seen and the ones that never healed properly could be seen in the lights and warmth of the shower. The indention of one Xaiver's rings on my temple had never gone either. I'm surprised that his blow hadn't killed me. I got into the shower letting t.he warm water melt away the stress my nightmare had caused me.

I finished washing myself and stepped out of the shower,dried myself off. I put on my clean clothes and folded up the dirty ones and walking out of the bathroom. I packed the clothes into one of my bags and started to style my short hair in a spiked mohawk. I made sure I had packed up the rest of my things and I sat my bags outside my bedroom door.

"Mommy?" Owen said waking up.

"Yes honey."

"I'm hungry." he said rubbing his eyes as he stood up in his bed.

"We'll eat in a few minutes."

"Promise?" he asked smiling.

"Promise." I checked his and Devon's bags making sure I had packed everything.

"Mommy?"

"Yes?" I said turning around.

"I got to use the bathroom." I nodded and took him into the bathroom to do his business. When he finished, we came out of the bathroom to see Rex holding a awake Devon.

"You're up early."

"Yeah I needed a shower and to get the kids ready. I see you've already canged Devon. Can you take her downstairs and feed her while I changed Owen?" I asked and she nodded. I grabbed Owen's clothes and changed his and packed his clothes into his bag.

I grabbed his little hand in mine and led him out of the bedroom and sat his bag with mine. We entered the kitchen as Devon was finishing her breakfast and I made something for Owen. Soon it would be time to leave and I know my kids are going to miss both Raphael and Rex. Both Devon and Owen finished their breakfast and I helped Rex with the dishes.

"I'll take your bags to the car." Raphael said with an arm load of bags. I nodded and he walked out the door.

"Come on. Let's get the kids in the car." I followed Rex outside to my car where Raphael had all the bags except for Devon and Owen's in the trunk. Devon and Owen hugged Rex and Raphael before I put them into te car.

"I'll miss you guys."

"I will too. I'll bring the kids for a visit." I said smiling.

"You better."

"You know I will. Thanks for everything." I said hugging her one last time. I hugged Raphael.

"Thanks for letting me stay." I said squeezing him.

"You're always welcome here Rae."

"Thanks Raph." I said letting him go. I go into the car and pulled out of the driveway. We all waved at Rex and Raph as I drove away from their house.
