Jase and I had arrived at the movie theatre only to watch some movie that some completely boring to me. I think I actually slept through it or something because when it ended, Jase was standing over me shaking my shoulder. After we had left the theatre, we went straight to Johnny's bar. I constantly checked my phone for any messages that could have come through from Nix while I was sleeping but there was nothing. I wonder if she even told him? I guess she'll text me when she has and I really hope Brian will understand because I would really hate to kick someone's ass for hurting my best friend. Jase and I were slowly drinking since I wanted to be sober enough to read any texts.

"What do you think is happening?"

"I really don't know Jase but I guess we'll find out soon enough." I said and as soon as the words left my mouth, my phone buzzed with a new message from Nix.

~I talked to Brian.~

~Spill what happened! I want to know every detail.~

~Well, when he came in and smelled the delicious food I had prepared my mind was trying to figure out some way to start a conversation so I just decided I would act casual and ask about his day. Then I just came out and told him...Angel, he understands.~ Nix

~He understands?!~

~Yeah I know it's shocking right? I mean I've never had someone be so understanding about something that's important to me!~ Nix

~That is shocking! Brian is a good guy by my standards. I got a great idea! What are you 2 doing right now?~

~Well Brian is upstairs taking a shower and I'm watching TV. What's this big idea you have?~ Nix

~When Brian gets out of the shower and all dressed and shit, you 2 get your asses down to Johnny's Bar. We need to celebrate!~

~That sounds like a great idea! I could use a good drink.~ Nix

~I'll see you in a few minutes then.~

We said our goodbyes and I informed Jase about what Nix told me. He was absolutely delighted! I am as well but I just hope he isn't just saying that. She has had that happen before and I don't think I could take another shut down from her. It didn't take long into my subconscious conversation that not only Brian and Nix came through the door but also Matt, Johnny, Zacky, and Arin. Nix had explained it to them the reason behind celebrating tonight and they were all kind of confused but I cleared that up quickly. Matt was making fun of Brian about being settled down from his once rowdy lifestyle but Brian simply flipped him the bird.

We stayed there for hours downing shots and having the occasional beer until it was time for all fo us to go back to our homes. I think I'll tell Brian in the morning when he's sober about Jase and I moving out of his house and going to live in the apartment we had gotten. I know he'll want Nix to be in the house with him but I don't think Nix would have any objections to that. Im so glad that Nix has finally found someone who is willing to wait for her through this decision she has to take time to think on and if I know Nix, it will be a good long while of waiting for Brian before she officially makes up her mind on whether or not she wants to give up her extraordinary gift. I just hope Brian will actually wait that good long while.

yes I know it's short but I'm starting to have a bit of writer's block on this. It took me forever in reading the last chapter to figure out what I wanted to do with this chapter. So please bear with me if I do get a severe case of the blockage.
