I woke up the next morning with the worst headache I had ever felt in my life and my entire body ached. I sat up with a groan and realized I was stark naked...and not alone.
I turned to the right to find an equally naked Johnny laying next to me, fast asleep. I smiled down at him and ran my hand over his head. He had just recently shaved it again to make his mohawk again. He moved at my touch and started waking up.
When Johnny saw me he smiled. "Well, good morning, Lizzy."
I smiled back and then groaned because it made my head worse. "Ugh. Hangover," I said getting of the bed and heading for the bathroom.
I came out of the bathroom in my robe and saw Johnny sitting on the edge of my bed with his pants on but no shirt. I sat next to him and laid my head on his shoulder. "How's your head?" he asked me.
"Feels like shit," I answered. "But at least I don't have to work today." I shifted my body and felt my body hurt all over again. Did I lose my virginity last night? All signs pointed to yes.
I turned my head to face Johnny. "What did we do last night? Can you remember?"
He nodded. "Yeah. Don't you?"
"No," I said shaking my head. "I always wanted my first time to be something I would always remember. But instead, it turns out to be a drunken hazy time that I can't even recall."
Johnny wrapped an arm around me and pulled me close to his side. "Hey, at least it was with me, right? At least it was with somebody who loves you and not some random stranger."
Before I could answer, there was a loud knock on my door and I groaned at the noise. Johnny kissed my head then moved to open the door. As soon as he had the door open, I saw Jimmy bust in after him and glared down at Johnny.
"Why are you in Eliza's room half naked?!" Jimmy nearly shouted and I knew he was angry. He almost never called anything except "Ly-ly". He then turned and saw me sitting on my bed in nothing but my robe and he groaned. "Seriously, Johnny? You take advantage of her drunken state and take her virginity?!"
Johnny stood in front of his friend and glared up at him. "No I did not take advantage of her. She wanted me as much as I wanted her. And she's twenty, Jimmy. She can make her own decisions."
Jimmy brought his attention back to the man in front of him. "Yeah but she's my responsibility. She has been since she came to America with us. The only reason she stays with Matt instead of me is because Leana wouldn't have it."
"Jimmy, it's fine," I said, making both of them look at me. "Trust me it's fine. I'm happy. Isn't that what you want? For me to be happy?"
"Of course, Ly-ly," Jimmy said and his face softened.
"Then don't worry. I'm good," I said. "What are you doing here, anyway?"
Jimmy came to sit next to me as Johnny moved to find his shirt. "Band meeting. But Matt showed up and said that Johnny would be late because he was still here. In bed with you."
"Oh fuck, I forgot about the meeting," Johnny said after he finally put his shirt on. "I guess we'll have to reschedule?"
Jimmy shook his head. "No chance, short shit. We go on tour soon so you're coming with me now."
I had forgotten that they would be going on tour soon. They had been trying to get Larry to say yes about me going with them. He was supposed to give them an answer today. I had even been taking lessons with the guys to get better at bass and drums. Brian and Zack had both been taking time to teach me guitar and I was getting pretty good. This tour would be so amazing if I could go.
I snapped my head up and looked at Johnny. "Go," I said to him. "Larry is giving you an answer to me going on tour with you. I want that answer so...go."
Johnny nodded, kissed me on the cheek and headed out of my room. Jimmy stayed behind and looked down at me.
"I know this is going to be super awkward," he said to me. "But please tell me he used protection."
"I don't know," I said. "I honestly can't remember a thing. Plus, my head hurts like a mother fucker."
Jimmy sighed and stood. "Alrighty then. I'll go then. We're all coming back for dinner. Val is downstairs if you don't wanna be lonely. Leana is at the house if you want to go see her and you know my number."
I nodded and hugged him. "Thank you for caring so much, Jimmy."
He hugged me back. "Of course, Ly-ly. You're my sister and I love you."
After they left I spent most of the day in my room waiting for the headache to go away. When it finally did, I went downstairs to find Val, Michelle, Leana, and Gena all sitting in the living room watching some reality show.
Val saw me first. "Ah she rises!"
"Welcome to the land of the living, love," Leana said and I sat next to her on the couch.
"I'm never drinking again," I said leaning my head on the back of the couch.
All of the girls laughed. "Hurts like a bitch, huh?" Michelle asked.
"It's part of being one of the Avenged girls," Gena added. "They like their drinking and their parties."
I laughed. "Nothing like a good party. But I could have gone without the hangover. So the guys are coming over for dinner?"
"Yeah," Val said. "I've got lasagna in the oven."
"Actually, she's got two," Leana said. "That's why we're all here before our boys. With those five plus five women, one wasn't going to feed us all. So we came over to help"
"So we made extras," Val said. She leaned forward to look at me. "Sweetie, can I talk to you in the kitchen?"
I nodded and followed her into the other room. Once in the kitchen, Val turned to me and narrowed her eyes. "Matt sent me a text a little while ago. He said that you didn't use protection last night with Johnny."
My eyes went wide. "What? How does he know that?!"
She sighed and leaned against the counter. "Jimmy told him. He's worried about you."
"Jimmy doesn't know for sure," I said crossing my arms over my chest. "I don't remember anything from last night. Besides, it's not his place to go and tell Matt."
"I know, sweet heart," she said. "But what if you become pregnant? You're only twenty."
I shook my head. "I'm not having this conversation. I'm not pregnant. Johnny knows better and he wouldn't do that to me."
I turned to leave but ran straight into a big wall of flesh. I almost fell but strong arm grabbed me and helped me back up. "Wow, Lizzy," Matt said. "You alright?"
I nodded. "Where's Jimmy?"
"He's outside with Brian smoking a cigarette," he said as he moved around me to kiss his wife.
I moved straight passed Johnny and Zack to the front door. I had a bone to pick with Jimmy. I heard Johnny call my name as I walked around him, but I just kept going until I was outside where I found Jimmy and Brian leaning against the outside wall.
"Hey there, Lizzy," Brian said. "Some party last night huh?"
I ignored him and stood straight in front of Jimmy. "How dare you go and tell Matt about me and Johnny?! It's none of his business. Actually, it's not even any of yours!"
Jimmy sighed, stomped out his cigarette and turned to Brian. "Can you give us a second, Bri?"
Brian nodded and headed inside. Once he was gone, Jimmy moved me away fromt the house and down by the cars in the driveway.
"I'm just concerned, Ly-ly," he said. "I love you like my little sister and I don't want to see you hurt. And I told Matt because I know he cares about you just as much as I do."
"But I'm twenty now!" I exclaimed. "And in America. Isn't that why I came here with you all? So I could make my own decisions? My own mistakes?"
"Yes, but-" Jimmy started but I interrupted.
"If you go and try to protect me from everything, then you're no better than what I ran away from in Ireland," I said. I immediately regretted what I said because his face fell. What I had said had hurt him.
"I was just trying to protect you, Eliza.," he said softly. "I thought you were happy here with us. Maybe I am no better than your old family."
Jimmy turned to walk away but I grabbed him and hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry, Jimmy. I didn't mean that, I promise. Coming here was the best thing that's ever happened to me. And I'm proud to call you my brother, Jimbo. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings."
He relaxed and hugged me back. "It's alright, Ly-ly. I'm sorry if i came out a little over protective. I'll step back just a little and let you live your life how you want to."
I looked up at him and smiled. "You'll still be there for me, right?"
Jimmy smiled. "Always, Ly-ly. Now come on, let's go inside. We've got some news to tell you."
As we headed back in the house, I couldn't help but think about how much it had hurt to see Jimmy sad. And I had caused it. Maybe I loved my new family more than I thought I did.
Back in the house, Johnny pulled me into a hug. "You alright?" he whispered in my ear.
I nodded and gave him a small smile. "I'm fine."
"Come on, Lizzy!" Zack said, pulling my hand until I was in the living room with everybody else. "We've got great news!"
"What is it?" I asked looking around at all of the smiling faces of my family.
"You get to come on tour with us," Matt said and my mouth fell open.
"You're kidding!" I said, jumping up and down. "That's awesome!"
"It's not overseas this time," Brian said. "But you get to travel America with us."
"And work the merch table," Johnny said, taking my hand.
"How's that sound?" Jimmy said, giving me a wink.
I looked at the five guys who had taken me in when I had nowhere else to go. The five guys I loved more than anything else in this world.
I pulled them in for a huge group hug. "That sounds amazing and I can't wait!"

Notes

Sorry about not updating. Those of you who don't know, my computer went full dumb dumb on me so I had to reset it. And I lost everything. My stories were gone. But now I'm getting them back and I've got ideas for them. But I'm also writing two more fanfics for another site so updates will vary.
I still love you all very much and will do my best to update ASAP.
