"Are you serious?" Johnny asked me.
I nodded. "Yes. It's my first time."
"Like, you've never tried it before?" Val asked.
I shook my head and Jimmy sighed. "Why not? It's so good."
"I don't know. I just never got the chance, I guess. It's not that popular in the part of Ireland I grew up in," I answered.
Matt handed me the jar of peanut butter. "Then try it, Lizzy."
"It's amazing," Brian added. "It'll set your tastebuds to dancing!"
I laughed as I took the jar, scooped up a small amount onto a spoon and put the spoon in my mouth. They were right. "Holy shit!" I exclaimed and took another bite. "This is awesome!"
Jimmy threw his hands in the air. "Ly-ly is now a true American!"
We all laughed as we sat down in Matt's living room to watch our weekly movie.
It's been nearly two months since Ricky and Liam made their surprise appearance and my life has been nothing but amazing. I'm still staying with Matt and Val but now I'm working at a restaraunt as a waitress so I can start saving up some money to get a small apartment of my own. I'm more than grateful to them for letting me live with them, but my birthday is tomorrow and I want to be a little more independent. All of the guys have offered to help me with money problems, but I assured them I'd be able to handle it.
Leana finally got off her high horse and apologized to me for trying to ruin everything I had. I had forgiven her and we were even beginning to be friends. That made Jimmy happy to see his fiancee and his adopted little sister getting along after a month and a half.
We were all spending so much time together and all of the guys and their girls had come to see me the first night I had worked. It was hard at first but I had been doing it for almost two months so I was doing pretty good now. It was a pretty popular Italian restaraunt and I was good at being a waitress.
Johnny and I were officially a couple and both of us were so happy. If I wasn't at work or at Matt's house, I was with Johnny. We would go for walks on an almost daily basis and he had even taken me to the beach.
The ocean had been so beautiful and blue! Johnny and I had laid out on the sand for a while before we actually got out into the water. And after that we had taken along walk talking about our lives. I was really in love with Johnny and I knew he felt the same way about me.
The guys were going on tour soon and I was going to miss them, but I had the girls and work to keep me busy. Val was supposed to go with them, but she had found out that she was pregnant last month so that was out of the question. The band would be on tour for five months and she was already twelve weeks into her pregnancy.
Tonight, we were all watching Lion King (Zack picked it out and none of us know why), I was crying and Johnny was holding me. "Why is this movie so sad?" I asked, drying my eyes. "Isn't it supposed to be for kids?"
Johnny rubbed my shoulder for comfort. "Yes but it's old Disney. They had no problems with making you cry."
After the movie was over, everyone stood up to stretch before they all headed home. Jimmy came up behind me and hugged me. "Are you ready for your birthday, Ly-ly?" he asked me.
"Put her down, Jimmy," Leana said, winking at me. "She can't answer you if she can't breath."
I laughed as he set me back down on my feet. "Yes, Jimbo. I can't wait."
Matt came up to us with a huge smile. "You're going to have a great party, Lizzy. I guarantee that."
I smiled at him. "Thanks, Matt. You throw the best parties."
"Don't we?" Zack chimed in with Gena wrapped around his waist looking ready to pass out.
Brian yawned making every one to do the same. "I think it's time we all go home."
We all nodded, said our goodbyes and every besides Johnny left. Val and Matt made their way upstairs but stopped to look back at us. "Just turn all the lights off when you go to bed, ok Lizzy?" Val said and I nodded.
I shut all of the lights off downstairs, made sure the door was locked, then took Johnny's hand and we made our way up the stairs. Over the three months that I had been living here, I had tried to make my room to show my personality. The comforter on the bed was black and purple, I had posters of heavey metal bands decorating the walls, there were pictures of me and my new family on the dresser and nightstand, and I had a drumset and a bass in the corner that I played whenever I had free time.
Soon after Liam and Ricky had shown up, I started to break free of the shell they had put me in and I started to show that in the way I dressed and talked. I had even cut my hair to where it was short in the back and I had side bangs that went across my forehead. I had dyed it black in the back and added purple and blue highlights to the bangs. I had a stud in my nose, a bar in my ear and I was getting my first tattoo tomorrow for my birthday.
Johnny and I sat on my bed and he ran his hand down the front of my hair and then down my cheek. "I love you, Eliza. You know that, right?"
I leaned into his hand and smiled. "I do. And I love you too."
We laid down together with his arm wrapped around my waist and very soon I was asleep.
When I woke up, Johnny was gone, but there was a note on the pillow next to me. It read:
Eliza,
I'm sorry to leave you like this but I had to go home to get ready for your party and get your present. I promise I will be back soon.
Love, Johnny.
P.s Happy Birthday, my love.
I smiled at the note before I got up and started to get dressed for the day. I had slept in late and now it was nearly noon. I was supposed to go with Jimmy and Leana at two to get my tattoo before my party started.
Once I was ready to go, I grabbed my purse and headed downstairs to find Jimmy and Leana waiting for me. They both smiled smiled when they saw me. "Hey Ly-ly," Jimmy said. "This look you've chosen for yourself really suits you."
"Thank you, Jimmy," I said smiling. I said bye to Matt and Val who were setting up for the party and I left.
Jimmy drove us to the tattoo parlor where him and the rest of the guys got their tattoos done, mostly. I had decided that for my first tattoo, I wanted an Avenged Sevenfold tattoo because they were the people who took me in when I had nobody else.
I was getting A7X done behind my left ear and I was nervous. I held both Jimmy and Leana's hand through the entire ordeal. It did hurt, but it was over soon and it looked amazing.
Back at the house, I could already smell Matt barbequeing for me and my stomach growled. I walked in the front door and found a lot of people I had never seen before standing around and drinking.
Almost immediately, Johnny found me and pulled me into a hug. "Happy birthday, Lizzy!" he shouted over the music and he started to pull me through the people ou to the backyard that was equally packed. He looked me up and down with a smile. "Wow, baby. You look great."
I smiled bacck at him. "Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself."
I saw Brian and Zack come up behind Johnny and both leaned on one of his shoulders. "Happy birthday, Lizzy," Brian said, tipping his beer in my direction before bring it to his lips.
"Ditto," Zack said. "And you look amazing, Liz. America has been really good for you."
Throughout the night, I drank more than I ever have in my entire life and I was wasted beyond compare. By the end of the party, the only ones left in the house were me, Johnny, Jimmy, Leana, Matt and Val.
Jimmy was leaning against Leana as she tried to walk him out of the house. "Come on you big lug," she was saying to him. She had only one beer that night because she knew she'd have to drive him home. They said their goodbyes and went on home.
Val wasn't drinking of course, but Matt was and he was all over her. She was leading him towars their room when she turned to look at me. "Eliza, since you're way too drunk to comprehend anything, I've already locked the front door. So when you and Johnny are ready, just go to your room, ok?"
Johnny and I had been sitting on the couch making out and I turned my head to look at her. "K," was all I managed to say before Johnny and I went back at it.
Soon, I was leading him up to my room and before my door was even shut, we were undressing eachother and collapsing onto my bed. Our lips had stayed together and it never even occured to me that I wasn't on birth control or if Johnny was wearing a condom. I just gave into the pleasure and let him take me away.
That night, I lost my virginity to the man of my dreams.
