Daddy's little girl
Vanessa's POV*
As soon as everything was cleared up they gave us an okay to have visitors. Sure enough the waiting room was already filled with everyone in the group. Zacky went out there to go tell everyone to come in but to be calm and quiet. When they entered the room, all of the girls were crying. Val especially. She asked me if she could hold Jaymee so I let her her. She was crying more hysterically with Jaymee in her arms. I looked over at Matt who had an "Oh shit" look on his face. I laughed quietly to myself noticing that. One by one everyone crowded and asked to hold her. She was going to be the most spoiled girl ever. Last but not least Jimmy asked to hold her.
"Can I?" He said almost nervous.
"Of course Ja-Ja-Jimmy, she's your niece. Jimmy meet Jaymee." I smiled as I handed her over to him gently.
He seemed so amazed by her. So calm and careful with every move he made with her in his arms.I could tell she was going to be really spoiled by Jimmy, which was great. He had the soul of a child so I know he would do great with her. She was going to love her Uncle Jimmy to death. After everyone had gotten to meet and hold Jaymee, Zacky had asked for everyone to leave so I could get rest and Jaymee could eat. I must admit he's been doing a great job so far with everything.
"Get some sleep babe. I'll feed Jaymee." He said to me.
So I did as he said and tried to get some sleep.
Zacky's POV*
I wanted to let Nessa get some sleep so I told her I would take care of Jaymee. So I held my daughter in my arms and fed her the baby formula the doctors suggested. She was so cute. She would stare at me with her big beautiful eyes. I know they say that babies don't really get any features for a while, but Jaymee looked so much like her mother. She could make me crumble beneath her feet. I sat down with her as she was slowly coming to an end of her bottle. I decided to tell her a story.
"I'm going to tell you about me and your mommy. You see, long time ago, your Uncle Matt and Uncle Brian introduced me to your mommy. She was so adorable wearing band shirts all of the time. Anyways, your mommy would come to these band practices me and your Uncles would have. A few times I caught her playing with my guitar, so I decided to teach her how to play it. Before I knew it your mommy was amazing at it. But you see, daddy was stupid. He never gathered up enough courage to tell mommy he liked her. Many years later daddy found mommy again. Things were going great but an evil lady tried to ruin mommy and daddy's happiness causing mommy to be very angry with daddy. But then mommy caught the evil lady and smacked her into tomorrow. When Auntie Chelle and Uncle Brian got married daddy tried getting another chance with mommy. She gave him one and now you're here! So daddy is the happiest luckiest guy in the world."
I smiled at her as she was falling asleep with a smile on her face. I didn't want to put her down so I just sat there with her lightly sleeping in my arms. I'm holding life in my hands. A part of me and a part of Nessa. I don't think I could be happier.
As I was sitting there admiring my daughters perfection I heard a light tap on the door so I went to lay Jaymee down and answer it.
"Can I talk to you son?" My mom said quietly. So I walked out and shut the door quietly behind me then followed my mom.
"What's wrong Mom?" I asked her a bit worried.
"Nothing. I just have something to give to you." She smiled. Then she began to dig through her purse. "Okay so as you know when your father and I renewed our vows we got new rings right? Well I wanted to give you the ring your father originally proposed to me with. And don't say you aren't ready son because we both know you are. I see the way you look at her, like you can't live life without her. Not to mention you have a baby now. Just don't go barging in there right this moment saying for her to marry you. Do it at the right time." She smiled and gave me a kiss on my cheek.
"I don't know what to say Mom." I said holding the box with the ring in my hands.
"A thank you would suffice for now son." She laughed a little.
"Thank you Mom! I love you. This doesn't have anything to do with her naming the baby's middle name after you does it?" I said pulling her into a big hug while laughing.
"You know I've always liked Vanessa. She's perfect for you. Plus, like I said, don't let this girl go again. Now go back to your family." She said as she started walking back to the waiting area.
I was carrying the box as I walked back to the room. I could hear Nessa waking up though so I shoved the box into my pocket and opened the door.
"Where'd you go babe?" She asked in a sleepy voice.
"Oh my mom was telling me that she's leaving to Zina's house." I quickly lied to her.
"Awh okay then It was so nice of her to stay for this long anyways. Just think tomorrow we should be back at home." She said to me. Then she fell back asleep.
I sat there for a while in the chair thinking about the ring. Now all I needed to find was the perfect time to propose to Nessa. With the baby here and the new house, I'm pretty sure everything is going to take some time getting used to. But I didn't want to wait. I wanted to do it as soon as I could. I thought about it and thought about it till I fell asleep.
Vanessa's POV*
I woke up from my nap to the sound of the baby crying. When I looked over at her Zacky was already tending to her needs. He was changing her diaper. I giggled a little as I watched him make faces at the smell. He had heard me laugh so he turned around to look at me. I just acted as if it wasn't me and gave him my innocent face. He couldn't help but laugh at that. When he was finished changing her, he picked her up and came to sit down next to me on the bed. I held out my arms for him to put her there. She reminded me of Zack so much. The way she looked at me as if I was the most precious thing in the world. She has no idea how precious she really is to me though.
"So you got the first diaper? How was it daddy?" I laughed teasing Zacky a little.
"Well she definitely takes after me cause fuck that smelt bad." He plugged his nose as he joked.
"Daddy's little girl" I said in a cooeing tone. Jaymee laughed a little.
"And she's a cutie isn't she?" He smiled.
I sat there with the two most important people in my life watching cartoons on the t.v in the hospital room. Zacky had fallen asleep next to me and the baby fell asleep in my arms. So far everything has been good, though I was sore beyond belief and wasn't allowed to do extreme movements, I was happy. Tomorrow we get to be released from the hospital which is when our parenthood is really put to the test. Not to mention my father is still coming over to my house this weekend. I don't even think he knows I had the baby. I shook my head in silence. Well that is going to be great news to show him.

Sorry about the late update. I've been really sick and out of it. I still sort of am, so I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter. Hopefully, you guys like it. If not I will rewrite it when I am better.-EllieVengeance ♥
