Vanessa's POV*
Once again Zacky ran to grab my overnight bag. I was not ready to take a risk and just sit there. This time something felt different in the pains. It was more intense. So I got up and started walking around like my doctor suggested. We hadn't had time to pick up Zacky's car so he made a call to Matt. While Zacky was calling Matt I tried to do more breathing techniques along with my walking. It was kind of helping but I was walking pretty slowly. Then something happened. A gush of liquid came flooding out between my legs where I stood. At first, I didn't know how to react. I mean I wanted to clean it up and everything. It looked gross just there on the floor. Thankfully it was on the tile and not the carpet though. I looked for a rag and threw it over the spot and tried using my foot to clean it. Then the contractions happened again. I held onto the counter trying to hold myslef up through the pain.
"Where the fuck is Matt!?" I yelled to Zack.
"He's on his way babe." Zacky said as he rushed over to me to make sure I was okay.
"I'm right here." Matt said as he entered the door. I almost forgot we gave the guys a pair of keys.
"Well lets fucking go have a baby then!" I yelled at both of them.
Zacky helped me out into the car while Matt held my bags. I was waddling very slowly though. I didn't want to make the pain any worse than it already was. Once I was in the car Zacky slid in next to me and held my hand. Everytime a contraction came I squeezed the shit out of it. Good thing he's a guy and isn't complaining about it. The pain he felt from my hand was nothing compared to the pain in my stomach. The intense prressure. Matt rushed us to the hospital almost running every single light. Even though we just got back from the police station, I wasn't about to argue with his law breaking. Matt pulled up to the front entrance of the hospital and dropped us off. He wasn't needed there right now anyways.
"My girlfriend is having a baby!" Zacky yelled as we entereed through the doors.
The nurse came and brought me a wheelchair and they wheeled me into the labor ward or pregnancy area. Whatever the fuck they call it here. They helped lift me into my bed and gave me an oxygen mask incase I needed it to breathe and a hospital gown to change into. I had to have Zacky and the nurse help me change though. Once that was over I lied down on the bed and waited for the doctor to come deliver this baby.
"Hello Ms. Andrews! I didn't think you'd be back so soon. What happened?" The doctor asked.
"Does it matter? My water broke now get this baby out of me or so help me I will do it myself. and I don't think it'll be pretty!" I yelled.
"I'm guessing you are in mass amounts of pain. Lets just see how far along you are dilated." He said as he looked between my legs. Even though Zacky and I have had to go through this several times, I could still see his slight anger when it happened. "Okay, you are about 5 centimeters right now. So we are going to give you Pitocin to speed up the dilation. Your contractions will feel a little more intense but the sooner you are fully dilated the sooner your child will be born." He said.
"Just breathe baby. I'm so proud of you." Zacky said whispering into my ear.
The nurse came in and stuck the IV into my arm. So I sat there and took it. I really hated needles but right now I just wanted this to be over with. I stuck to my breathing but once the contractions hit I needed the oxygen mask. I tried to sleep it off. Maybe I wouldn't feel so much pain if I just slept. Zacky ran his hands through my hair and held my hand the whole time enduring the pain I must have been putting him through. Eventually I fell asleep.
A few hours passed and I was awakened by the doctor.
"So let's see how far you are now. And must I add you are a trooper. Most women scream a lot and very loudly." He said as he came to examine me once again. "Well, thats great news. It's time to have your baby! Also, Mr. Baker, your mother has arrived. Do you want her in the room?"
I answered that one. "Yes please!"
Maria was called in and she stood on the opposite side of me. Then the doctor came back in with a couple nurses. I could feel the pressure more and more on my lower area. Before I knew it they were telling me to push.
"Alright, now I need you to push on the count of 3. 1...2...push!" The doctor said. So i did just that. I pushed. We repeated this process a few times. I was sweating and in pain but I could feel it slowly coming to an end.
"You're doing good Vanessa, the head is out. Now push again." The doctor ordered. I pushed and pushed again. Then I fell back on the bed cause there was a release of pressure which was followed by the nurse stitching me up.
"Congratulations Vanessa and Mr. Baker, you have a beautiful baby daughter."
I heard her cry. Even though it was crying it was the most beautiful thing I ever heard. They wrapped her up in a blanket after cleaning her up and handed her to Zacky. I could see tears running down his face. It made me want to get out of bed and hold him. Maria was crying too and taking pictures of the baby. Finally, Zacky came and gave her to me. Once she was in my arms she stopped crying completely. She just looked up at me with her big bright eyes and stared at me in wonder. This is my daughter. I spent the last nine months of my life holding her and I wasn't about to stop holding her now.
"Jaymee Maria Baker, I love you my beautiful daughter. Mommy and Daddy love you." She gave us a smile and Zacky kissed the top of my head.
