A7x and Me
I Won't Be Seeing You Tonight
The next morning, I awoke to the sound of the phone next to my bed ringing loudly. Bleary eyed, I grabbed it and answered after 2 rings. "Good morning and happy birthday!" Theo sang. I laughed out loud; Theo had the worse singing voice ever! We chit-chatted for a while, until he said he had to go. I smiled to myself before hanging up the phone and pulling myself up from the lazy sitting position I was in. I shuffled over to the other side of the room and tugged on my purple robe, letting its soft material envelope me. All of a sudden, my nose detected a smell that made me drool: Pancakes. I grinned and pushed open my bedroom door, bounding down the steps until I was skidding to a stop in the kitchen. My mom was standing at the stove in sweatpants and a pink t-shirt.
"The pancakes are almost ready, Kaylee dear." She said cheerfully, flipping some of the warm golden circles onto a plate. "I know it's your birthday, but can you please go get dressed? I'm expecting some people shortly, so please make yourself look presentable." I was confused but I obliged, not wanting to ruin the happy birthday mood. As I turned away and headed upstairs, I could have sworn I saw her smirking. I made it back up to my room and flopped down onto the bed. Did she mean HER idea of presentable or MY idea of presentable?
I decided on my idea and began to search through my drawers until I found the perfect outfit: An Avenged Sevenfold shirt with red DeathBats on it and a pair of ripped jeans. Remembering yesterday morning, I managed to recall where I had put my shoes and slipped them on. Waltzing into the bathroom, I sang "Almost Easy" under my breath, and did my usual makeup routine- black eyeliner, Black eyeshadow, and today I put on a little extra makeup, making my crystal blue eyes pop. I had just finished fixing my hair when I heard the doorbell ring. "Kaylee can you get that? I'm kind of busy!" I dashed down the steps and fumbled with the lock. Finally, I managed to get the door open. If I was breathless from running down the stairs, the sight of who was at the door made my lungs empty and become unable to fill back up.

I'm reading these and I'm embarrassed for myself for ever writing this
