Seize The Day
"OH. MY. GOD!!!" I practically screamed. Standing on my front porch, were the last 4 people I expected to see. The sun glinting off his aviators, M. Shadows was the first one to speak. I was speachless, and the rest of the band looked amused.
"Um, hey. I'm Matt, and judging from your reaction, you didn't know we were coming." He grinned, his famous dimpled smile directed at me. I nodded wordlessly, still unable to communicate. Standing behind him were 3 other people, people whose faces adorned my walls on plenty of posters. Syn Gates, Zacky Vengance, and Johnny Christ all looked like my reaction was the funniest thing that they've ever seen. They all had the slightest of smirks etched onto their faces.
I began to hyperventilate, but not wanting them to think I was a loser, I quickly regained control of my vocal chords. "Uhhh, no I had no idea that Avenged flipping Sevenfold was coming to my house! Well, my names Kaylee, and it's a pleasure to meet you all." I shook hands with all of them, my eyes not knowing where to look. Sometimes I tried to focus on their (GORGEOUS) faces and at other times, thier tattoos. Then all of a sudden, my mom was at my shoulder, greeting them warmly and ushering them inside.
"We have pancakes and bacon... You guys must be AWFUL tired after that long flight!" Syn nodded his head enthusiasticly, elicting a laugh from everyone. Mom then turned to me. "I'm sure your probably wondering HOW in God's name I got Avenged Sevenfold to show up here. Well, a couple years ago, I actually sold these boys some property, and it slipped out that I had a daughter that LOVED Avenged Sevenfold, and they told me that, if I ever needed a favor to just call them." The band members were paying more attention to the food than to the conversation, but Zacky looked up and nodded.
"We really needed that land, and we were so grateful, that we granted your mom 1 wish." He smiled a crooked smile that made my heart melt. His green eyes were twinkling, like little diamonds. Zacky's dark hair was slicked over, and the snake-bites in his lips were glinting under the flouresent glow of the lights.
I laughed. "Kinda like a genie?" I asked, grinning. I popped my knuckles nervously under the table. My brain was at war with my body: My brain wanted to gush all over them and ask them billions of questions. My body wanted to sit there are be quiet and shy. My heart knew what to do though, so it joined the battle. It told me to be myself.
Zacky, Syn, Matt, and Johnny laughed. "Yes, Exactly like a genie!" Matt joked. He cleared his throat and looked at my mom. "We'll be back by one AM... maybe" He chuckled, scooting away from the table, gesturing for me to follow. I waved at my mom once, before the boys dragged me through the front door and into a waiting limosine.
