I was (thankfully) not late for school, and the day went by pretty un-eventful. As I boarded the bus that would take me back home, I let my thoughts wander, to places where dreams came true and I got to meet my favorite band, Avenged Sevenfold. I had been listening to Avenged Sevenfold since they came out, and they had been my favorite band ever since. All of a sudden, my daydreams were rudely interupted by a tap on the shoulder. I glanced up.
My boyfriend Theo Morton was looking down at me, his blue- green eyes ringed with the slightest hint of eyeliner. "Hey, tomorrow is your birthday right?" He asked, while flipping his black hair out of his gorgeous face. I nodded, still thinking about Avenged Sevenfold, and going through different senarios inside my head about meeting them. Theo smiled at me, his perfect white teeth glinting, contrasting with the cool black metal of his snake bites. "Whats wrong?" he asked me, his smile dissapearing, making him look worried.
"Nothing is wrong. I am here with you and therefore, I am completely and utterly fine." I sat up a little straighter, and planted a soft kiss against his warm lips, melting his anxious expression. Too soon, the bus creaked to a stop, in front of my house. I gave Theo a quick hug and a promise to call him later, hopping off the shuddering yellow machine and into my wide driveway. Singing Avenged Sevenfold's latest single, I fumbled with the key until I finnaly got it to fit into the lock of the large french doors. I pushed them open, stepping across the threshold, my footfalls echoing throughout the house. "Mom, you home?" I called out. My mom was a big real estate agent, selling houses and property like they were going out of style. She worked long hours and was hardly ever home, so when I got no response, I just sighed and started on my homework.
