Brian’s P.O.V

It was 7 in the morning and today… I renewed my vows with Erin… she had no idea that we were doing it either… I was gonna make this official to the public and to all of my family and the bands friends. I wanted to do everything right. Matt was already awake and he had a note for me.

“I just got this an hour ago from Hannah’s dad said that it is from Erin” Matt said smiling and handing me the letter. I opened it and read the note carefully.

Brian,

It has been a few months since I asked you to marry me… I didn’t want to die alone and you were for sure the one in my eyes… I couldn’t picture my life without you now.

When we met… you were a really jerk to me half the time and people could tell that there was something there even though we didn’t see it… at least not at first.

Now I sit here as Erin Haner, your wife, your bestfriend and hopefully the person whom you can share anything and everything with…

I can’t wait to publically start our forever.

I end this saying I love you… and telling you to check under your hotel bed for a surprise!

I set the note down and I realized that the whole band was in here waiting for me to finish reading and check under the bed. There was a very long rectangle box sitting under there wrapped with black wrapping paper and I pulled it onto my lap seeing the silver sharpie writing saying: “Hope you like it” and had a heart next to it. When I opened it up it was a custom guitar and it was the most amazing that I had ever seen… hopefully she loves my gifts as much as I loved hers.

“She really went all out on that guitar dude” Zack said taking a closer look at it.

“She may have defeated me in gift giving” I said… I was ready for this day.

Erin’s P.O.V

I had been awake since 4 this morning and Hannah and her mom had been in and out from the room about a million and one times and each time Hannah would beg to see the dress.

“PLEASE E!!! I WANNA SEE!!” She said and I just sat there rubbing my head. I had all of my stuff on the bed ready to go to the hotel first and then the venue. Honestly this was completely nuts… I was already tired and I hadn’t even started to get ready.

“I promise I will show you soon but we have to go Hannah! Please can you round up the family!” I said to her and she just smiled and I couldn’t figure out her deal and just as I began to grab my stuff she set it back down..

“That is what the help is for… I have a surprise for you first and it starts right outside your door!” She said and I was now completely and utterly confused. When she opened the door there was a trail of tiger lilies leading me somewhere.

“Go you silly girl!” She said and I picked up each flower and followed it outside and when I got out there… I was in complete and utter shock. There was a brand new Dodge Charger sitting there waiting for me and it was the most gorgeous thing ever. Hannah and her mom were sitting there with the family and I walked over to it and noticed something on the steering wheel. When I sat down in the car I noticed it was a bracelet. There was a sapphire heart, a computer charm and a double infinity symbol and I found myself bawling already…

“I NEED A PHONE!” I said still crying and I could hear the laughter. Hannah’s mom looked at me.

“Don’t worry lass I have him on the line already” She said wiping the tears from my eyes and I just smiled.

“You are the most amazing woman ever” He said and I was sucking back the tears again.

“I am crying already… why the hell do you have to be so sweet!” I said to him and he just laughed and I could tell that we were already eager to see each other.

“I love you so much Bri and I cannot wait to see you” I said to him.

“I love you too Erin” He said and we both hung up and Hannah handed me my shoes and I didn’t even have time to go back inside… When we arrived everyone was running around like mad people… Hannah was getting her hair done in this really fun updo that went perfect with her dress. After she was done she was going through the stuff and saw the shoes that I was wearing with my dress.

“HOLY SHIT E REALLY!!! THOSE HAD TO BE EXPENSIVE!” She said loudly while people were doing my makeup. I literally just laughed and after I was done I grabbed for the bag that contained my dress.

“Open it!” Hannah said and her mom was leaning over me as well to get a good look and then I revealed it… the perfect dress and Hannah seemed extremely excited.

“I cannot believe it… best damn dress ever!!! The shoes are gonna work so perfectly! AH IM SO READY FOR THIS!” She said and with that I was literally taking curlers out of my hair and finishing my hair before sliding into my dress.

“I am really nervous to go into the reception room…” I said nearly having a panic attack and Hannah smiled but said nothing just grabbed her bag and her and Matts invitations and walked out of the room and I was left with her mom.

“Please tell me that she is coming back” I said to her mom and then she grabbed her
bag and I was alone. I was totally confused but then there was a knock on the door and I just walked over to it and Papa Gates was smiling at me.

“Look at you… so beautiful. I have another surprise for you that I am supposed to take you to my dear so if you could just be my beautiful escort we will go now” He said and I just smiled making sure everything was good with my jewelry and I walked downstairs.

“So no hints on what is going on?” I asked him and he just shook his head.

“I promise that you will love the surprise” He said and we were outside a large set of double doors and he was breathing just like I was but we were both happy. He turned to me.

“Oh and Erin before we go in there I wanted to say Thank You” He said and I was trying to stay calm and collected.

“For what?” I asked standing there and he laughed a little.

“For making my son a better man… for everything you have done for him. He truly loves you and I am so proud to be your father in law” He said and I just smiled and hugged him. A girl with pinkish purple hair walked up and handed me some flowers and then walked around down the hall and I was confused.

“That was Brian’s sister you will meet her later… are you ready?” He asked and I just took a deep breath.

“I guess so… but please don’t let go of my arm” I said to him and he patted my arm and knocked on the doors and they opened and I was in awe of the room… chairs that were in a circular set up and the large chandelier and there was a lot of people sitting there watching us. I looked forward… and there was Brian just waiting for me… looking perfect in his suit. Hannah sat up there with flowers in her hands and Matt was on his side… and just then it hit me and I just started smiling and trying not to laugh at my stupidity…

Brian’s P.O.V

Everything was perfect, the venue, the family, the friends. Matt was right by my side and Hannah and her family were making their way into the are setting up as I was gonna surprise Erin with the ceremony. Hannah came up adjusting my tie.

“How is she doing?” I asked and Hannah broke from her serious face to a really big smile.

“She is happy, nervous excited… she looks gorgeous” Hannah said and I hugged her and felt Matt put his hand on my shoulder.

“You ready for this! This is gonna be legit” He said and I was shaking a little bit but I was 100 percent happy to be doing this. Our music manager Larry came up to me and shook my hand and hugged me and I smiled.

“I’ve got some good news for you and the boys” He said and everyone crowded in.

“A huge tour is coming and we are talking about 6 months for the first leg… we released the MP3 of Afterlife and Almost Easy and its gonna be big” Larry said and everyone was in shock… Hannah too because it was her soon to be husband. We shrugged it off after Larry sat down since now was about Erin and I. Hannah moved me to my spot and Matt was behind me and I saw the doors opened and the music filled the room and I saw Erin… and I was out of oxygen… she was perfect in every single way and she had the most beautiful gown on and she looked so happy to see me… and she laughed realizing what was going on. I wiped under my eyes cause I was just so blown away seeing her… my wife. She and my father reached us and I held my hand out to her and Hannah grabbed the flowers and my father moved of course getting ready to start the ceremony. I held Erin’s hand tightly and she literally had my heart.

“You are so beautiful” I said to her and everyone said awe because of course you can hear everything in here.. the music faded and I smiled widely at her… my future.

“Well this feels pretty familiar to me” My dad said and Erin was laughing but she was trying so hard not to cry.

“I am sure that Erin is certainly surprised… usually she is so talkative and now she is speechless” He said and I just smiled at Erin and wiped carefully under her eye getting a tear before it destroyed her makeup.

“We are gathered in this beautiful venue today to finally celebrate Erin and Brian’s marriage… to celebrate that despite the chaos and the past they are sticking together and loving each other to this very day. When I met Erin… she wasn’t happy that my rock star son was spending so much money on her but no matter what she has stood by him. Brian would you like to tell Erin what you had prepared?” My dad asked and I trembled slightly but Erin gripped my hand tighter and smiled widely and I felt completely at ease…

Erin’s P.O.V

I smiled at Brian holding his hand tightly after feeling him shake after his father asked him to speak.

“Where do I begin? Well let’s just start with I love you… I didn’t know that I loved you when we first met in fact… I am pretty sure that I came off as a total jerk to you and maybe scared you. BUT as of today I really truly know that you are everything to me, you make waking up in the morning possible… I used to suck at waking up, you always know what to say to me and you are my bestfriend. Everything moved quickly but even though it went that way you still stood by me and I am thankful every day for that Erin” He said and I just couldn’t stop feeling warmth and happiness and I was in complete awe.

“Erin I am sure that you would like to say something right?” Papa Gates said and everyone laughed and I nodded.

“To say the least I love you now more than ever, honestly there were days when I was younger I used to think about what it would be like to date or marry a famous rock star… it is so much more than that now. I have the honor of being with you and knowing you for more than your musical talents. I promise that I will never let go and never stop loving you Brian because you are the greatest man I have ever met and you have made me the happiest woman alive” I said to him and everyone was tearing up and had tissues in their hands and we both just smiled.

“Few people knew about the marriage between Erin and Brian and today we are celebrating them making it known to everyone. We are doing this right and giving them the day and recognition that they deserve for taking the next step in their life together. We have gathered all the close relatives in this room to witness a renewal of vows between Brian and Erin so let us begin” Papa Gates said and we faced each other and Brian sneakily got my eternity band off my finger.

“Brian Elwin Haner Jr. my wonderful son; do you still promise to love and cherish Erin and keep her safe against all that may come towards her or in between the two of you? Do you promise to always keep your love and passion alive for as long as you both shall live?” He asked Brian and he smiled and gazed right into my eyes.

“I do” Brian said sliding my eternity band back on my finger.

“Erin Lee Taylor-Haner; do you still promise to love and Cherish Brian and keep him safe against all that may come towards him or in between the two of you? Do you promise to always keep your love and passion alive for as long as you both shall live?” He asked me and Hannah handed me Brian’s wedding band.

“I do” I smiled and slid his ring on and we sat there stroking each other’s hands gently and I could feel the emotions running high but anytime I looked into Brian’s eyes I just felt happy and complete.

“By the power vested in Papa Gates, which would be me and the state of California.. I once again pronounce you Husband and Wife; Brian you may now kiss your bride” Papa Gates said and with that Brian wrapped his hand around my back and I put my arm around his neck and he pressed his lips to mine gently yet happily and when we broke from it we stood there a moment before walking out of the room together. We lined up with Matt and Hannah to take some photos and before we went to the reception Brian and I had a moment alone.

“That dress Erin” He said and I leaned up against the wall in the hallway we were waiting in.

“I think you should see the shoes” I said giggling and pulled the bottom up a little showing off my rhinestone shoes.

“I wanna see what’s underneath the dress” He said and I just picked my head up and winked at him and then pulled him in for a much longer and needed kiss. I felt his hand travel down the skin of my back and then the photographer snapped a photo and we snapped out of it. Hannah came out and nodded and we adjusted ourselves before walking in hearing Papa Gates announce us and there were a ton of people cheering in this huge blue lighted room… it was stunning seeing the dark blue table cloths with the gold plates. Nobody even realized that it was getting dark outside because one minute we were saying our vows than waiting a long time before even getting everyone seated and ready for us. Our table that seated me, Brian, Hannah, Matt and the family was lighter colored and covered with my favorite flowers but behind it the colors lit up like the night sky… I was so blown away. Cupcakes covered each table along with the amazing centerpieces… this was all more than I ever imagined. Hannah stood up and smiled and then looked down at me and Matt got everyone’s attention.

“Alright so I am gonna say a few words about Erin and I am already crying even though I really haven’t even begun… she is the greatest woman in the world, she is fearless and very smart. She makes people smile because she is such a klutz but I share the same trait which is most likely why we are so close. To say the least for everyone who gets to know Erin is lucky, for she honestly makes lives better. Congratulations to Erin and Brian I wish you so much happiness and love” Hannah said and I shot up and started hugging her tightly. It was just the most amazing speech ever.

Brian’s P.O.V

Hannah had brought Erin to tears almost with her speech and I knew that Matt was always good with speeches so I am sure that he was gonna make me cry… He stood up and Hannah handed him the mic.

“Brian Brian Brian you literally know how to pick them! Seriously being here today has been so amazing. My bestfriend Brian has always been one to be on his own and just do his own thing, most of us guys were like that. But when he met Erin you could just tell there was something lingering underneath all of the attitude between them. He changed and he became a stronger and more heartfelt Brian who brought out the best in all of us. So I want to thank Erin first off because she has brought so much life to him and I wanted to say Brian thank you for being my bestfriend and I know that you two will be so happy together” Matt said and before I could get up Erin was already hugging him tightly and Hannah held her after and I just hugged Matt as well.

“Thanks for being here for me” I said to him and he smiled and Erin, Hannah and Matt all sat back down and I stood there ready to make a speech to everyone. I nodded at my father and I had to have two reporters in there of course and I grabbed Erin’s hand helping her up and pulling her to my side.

“Alright everyone we want to thank everyone for coming this evening I know that it was quite a tear jerking experience but we are thankful for it. I married this wonderful woman probably four months ago now and it was the greatest decision I ever made. And most of you who were hear earlier watched Erin and I renew our vows. I am happy to finally get this out and I am glad that now my friends, family and the fans of Avenged Sevenfold will now get to know that Erin is my wife. Thank you all” I said and my dad grabbed the mic and I led Erin down to the dance floor through all the people and she just smiled and waved of course taking it all in.

“Erin and Brian will now have their first dance as husband and wife” My dad said and when I heard the song I smiled and looked at Erin.

“Warmness on the Soul? That’s what you wanted to dance to?” I asked her as Matt sang into the mic and she nodded and we danced slowly.

“Why pay for a band when I just married the guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold silly!” She said and I spun her around just taking in the lyrics and being close to her.

“I love you Brian” Erin said as she moved to the music. I spun her again and pulled her close.

“I give my heart to you, I give my heart cause nothing can compare in this world to you woah” I sang with Matt softly and at the end of the song I pulled her in and kissed her deeply not even caring of the people in the room… it was me and her. Erin seemed very pleased to have the father daughter dance with my dad and she was even happier to meet my sister and Suzy. Erin came up to me and grabbed my arm and we walked over to the massive and beautiful cake that was displayed. We sat there posing for the pics and such before slicing into it and practically shoving it into each other’s faces. Finally after this was all said and done… I got to go up to the hotel room with Erin. Even though as of right now there was no honeymoon at least I could be with her now in this large penthouse type suite. I grabbed some champagne and walked over to Erin who instantly set it down and turned around.

“Can you help me out of this dress?” She asked and I set my drink down running my hands up her bare skin and I kissed her back gently before pulling down the little zipper hidden on the bottom area by her ass and then reached up grapping the straps and carefully pulling down. She wiggled and the dress pooled to the floor and she turned and kissed me roughly and I wrapped my arms around her tightly. She pulled back undoing the rest of my suit and the buttons on my shirt and I pulled my belt off and slipped out of everything but my boxers and pulled her throwing her on the bed.

“I can see that someone was thinking about this all day” I said to her and she smiled and kissed me as I caressed her body.

“Now I have you in every single way” She said and I pulled her on top of me and I pulled myself up so her chest was on mine and I pulled out the bobby pins in her hair and let the tousles of hair fall onto her back. I pushed it behind her shoulders and she seemed more relaxed.

“Let’s stay like this forever” She said and I kissed her neck and smiled.

“Sounds good as long as I am with you” I said to her and rubbed my hands down her back and onto her ass that was exposed by her thong. I grabbed her back and lifted her sliding off her thong and she smiled feeling the bulge in my boxers.

“Well don’t tease me, I want it now” She said and I laughed at her greediness and lifted her taking off my boxers and she reached down and gently stroked me and then lowered herself down breathing in deeply and I squeezed her hips tightly and we both let out soft moans. Erin gripped onto my shoulders roughly moving up and down as I supported her with my hands flat on her back. She pushed her lips to mine and our lips moved to the rhythm. This wasn’t fucking, I was making love to my wife… the person who showed me that there is more to life than music or doing stealth missions.

“Ah Bri I am so close” She said breaking from my lips and I pushed my right hand onto the back of her head and into her hair pushing her lips back to mine and I moved my hips thrusting into her quickly and she trembled and I still letting go kissing her softly as she came down from her orgasm. I lied her down placing her head on my chest and she quickly fell asleep her breath evening out and I smiled brushing the hair out of her face. Today seemed like a dream even though it was reality… next Hannah and Matt would say I do and we would all move into the next chapter of our lives.
