All We Know
Erin’s P.O.V
I snapped out of the conversation that Hannah and I were on when Gena and Val had let themselves into the house. I sat there in my crop top and fleece shorts and just watched as they pulled out all the contents of the bag.
“You two really should cheer up though, don’t dwell on this at least for tonight and just be carefree” Gena said handing me one of the boxes of food and I just smiled… how can you not dwell on your husband being missing and your girlfriends fiancé cheating. But… we told ourselves that we would let go for now.
“We will be better once we have some drinks in our system” I said giggling and not but a moment later Val came out of the kitchen carrying a tray with shots on it and Gena walked in there coming out with the bottles of champagne and vodka and the good drinks.
“Oh thank god for the shots” Hannah said and I knew as well as her that we needed these drinks but of course I knew that right now despite our pain we were both gonna stay cautious in this situation. After a few hours two bottles of vodka had been drank and we were high on life.
“Ya know I wish that we did this more often, we need to have more fun” I said leaning up
against Hannah, none of us were even paying attention to the movies, we had literally been taking non-stop shots and drinks from the bottles and I felt completely relaxed right now.
“You are so right E! Just like usual!” She said and was about to push her lips to mine but Zack busted in the house and everyone just stood there a little speechless by the fact that Gena and Val were in the house. I walked over to him and grabbed his arm and gave him a drink.
“You have to stay for a few drinks!” I said but he grabbed my arm and drug me into the kitchen and I whined a little.
“Ouch Zack stop you are hurting me” I said and he pulled me as far in as possible.
“Erin that text Hannah found on Matt’s phone… we traced the signal… and it was a burner phone” Zack said and I just stood there for a moment realizing he was serious and I snapped out of my woozy state setting my drink down and just rubbed my head.
“Are you saying that he isn’t cheating?” I asked and bit at my thumbnail waiting for Zack to give me an answer.
“What I am saying is that he is not cheating and something is really wrong here… We also inspected Brian’s SUV” He said and I just sighed and motioned for him to just get on with it.
“The engine had a small EMP device inside that most likely completely stopped all electrical contents of the SUV causing him to run the light and get hit… but whoever hit him ran off. We have some of the tinted glass from the car but for now we have no idea who it was” Zack said.
“What about the security cameras on the street?” I asked and he shrugged.
“After 4th and State Street he disappeared… there is no footage of the accident” He
said and it was just what I was worried about… I was freaking out.
“What am I supposed to tell Hannah? I mean she sat there dying inside over the whole Matt thing and now we are slowly realizing that the guys are both just missing completely…” I said and I was starting to break down a little and Zack hugged me rubbing my back… at least after all that has happened he was still here for me.
“Look I think that you and Hannah should go to bed and then when the hangover passes you can let her know in the morning… I will make sure that Val and Gena leave” He said and I stopped him.
“Hannah wanted them to sleep over… she doesn’t want to be alone” I said and just then Hannah walked into the kitchen and stared at us and I knew that by the look on her face she wanted an explanation on why I was in here talking to him alone.
“What are you two hiding?” She asked and I just looked at Zack.
“ARE YOU SLEEPING WITH HIM AGAIN?” She asked and I just slapped my hand onto my face and Zack backed up knowing that it looked back with the fact that he had me pinned into a corner. I walked over and ran my hand up Hannah’s arm and she pulled back a little glaring at me.
“Don’t hide stuff from me! I’ve taken enough lies for a lifetime!” She said and I felt terrible.
“What I have to tell you isn’t gonna take two seconds and it is gonna be a huge hit Hannah so I need us to be alone for me to say it! I am not fucking sleeping with Zack especially with the fact that I just took the hit of Brian being in an accident and him just vanishing!” I said nearly yelling at her and I saw her face drop and she fell completely quiet and I was sure that her buzz was gone now that I did that. I took a deep breath.
“Look I am sorry but if you want me to tell you then we need to be alone” I said to her and she just nodded and I looked at Zack and she and I just stood there as he walked into the living room and I could hear everyone making a fuss but finally it fell quiet. Zack returned and I just smiled.
“Thank you, hopefully they aren’t too pissed at us… again I should say” Hannah said and then she walked upstairs probably getting ready to go to bed. I took another shot and walked up to her bedroom and sat down waiting for her.
“Alright E… spill it cause honestly I just really can’t take any more pain” She said crawling by me in the bed.
“Zack came over and took me into the kitchen because he traced the signal and text from the person who texted Matt” I said and Hannah looked like she was running out of oxygen since it was all surfacing again.
“Well who was she?” She asked and I grabbed her hand.
“That’s just it though… it was a burner phone… all of the texts that were there were from different burners… not just one… I don’t think he was cheating… and to top it off there was an EMP device in Brian’s engine that cut all electrical stuff and made him run the light… the cameras on the streets were cut off after 4th and State…” I trailed off and she just put her head on her knees working on her breathing and I rubbed her back giving her a minute.
“So basically… we are being played?” She asked and I nodded.
“Well whoever it is… better what the fuck out” She said and she pulled the covers over her turning off the light not saying anything else… I knew then to keep my mouth shut… she was gonna be on a mission to fuck over did this…
Brian’s P.O.V
Both Matt and I had no idea what time it was but we knew that whatever was going on wasn’t good cause both Val and Gena were home and they were pissy… Matt and I both were in need of water and we couldn’t sleep so we looked exhausted and I had a constant headache from the crash.
“I wonder what happened” Matt said and we fell silent listening to them… they mention the girls and I was pissed because they mentioned Zack as well and I was really tired of this.
“Do you think it will take the girls long to figure out that it was Val and Gena who did this?” I asked Matt and he just looked at me.
“No matter what they will realize it… they are extremely observant and smart, I have no
doubt that they are gonna come at those two hard as ever when they realize” He said.
“Yeah well it better be soon” I said and we heard the voices grow closer…

Brian’s P.O.V
