Lesson Twelve; Two months later; things change. Johnny wrapped his arm around Michelle’s shoulders. “I am sorry” Michelle smiled, looking up into his face. “Don’t be. You and Brian are okay again, you and Hailey finally together, and I’m fine. Don’t worry about that” JC sighed, pulling the girl closer. The last two months have been crazy. First he had talked to Brian for more then a week, trying to figure all their problems out, and making sure the band was still okay. Then, when the tour was over, all of them went back to Huntington, where he finally could give more attention to Hailey. “How is he?” Michelle asked out of nowhere, quickly taking a sip of her beer. “He’s doing.. fine, I guess. Still blames himself every chance he gets, and he fell quiet a bit, but further he’s fine” Johnny explained, knowing Michelle asked about Brian. She always did that, whenever they spoke to one another she’d ask him that question, and when Johnny would get back home, Brian would call him to ask about her. “Do you think.. Do you think I made the right decision?” Listening to her soft voice, Johnny closed his eyes. Who was he to tell another person whether they were right or wrong? “I.. In the end I do think so, he cheated on you. But on the other hand, the man’s in love with you, more then he has ever been with someone else.” The both of them remained silent for a bit, until Johnny continued. “Everyone who has met the two of you was convinced you’d stay together forever, that’s why we were so mad at Brian for cheating on you. But that cheating came from him being so scared of loosing you” Michelle sighed softly, letting out a chuckle. “In the beginning I had hoped that once he’d be back in Huntington, he’d try to contact me or something.” “You told him not to get in touch before you were ready. That man would do anything for you, so that’s why he still doesn’t talk to you” Brian explained, standing up from the couch. “I need to get going, Hailey and I are going out tonight” Looking at his childish grin, all Michelle could do was be happy for her friend, though a little piece on the inside was a bit jealous. She had moved out from Brian’s house even before he came back from tour, and now she never had a pair of arms around her while sleeping, never had the spontaneous dates that’d always lead into sex when they’d get back home. “Who’s taking care of Sophia?” She asked quietly. Sophia was probably the only thing that kept Brian and Michelle close. Whenever Michelle came to visit Hailey and her daughter, she knew there’d be the chance she’d bump into Brian, as after all, Sophia was his child. “I guess Brian is, unless Hailey has asked you. He’s taking great care of her, you know that? It seems like all he does now is going to Hailey and asking for his Daughter, taking her to all the places he thinks his child should see” “Hey princess” Brian smiled, kissing Haileys’ cheek before taking his daughter out of her arms. “Mommy’s going out tonight, so it’ll be just the two of us” Hailey smiled, closing the door behind them. “If you don’t mind, I’m going to get dressed, okay?” “Sure” Walking into the living room with his daughter in his arms, Brian chuckle when Sophia started to talk in her own language. “We’re going to have fun tonight, okay? We could watch a movie or something” “I don’t think she will understand that though” Hailey’s voice came from behind him. Brian turned, immediately realizing Hailey was standing there half naked. “S-sorry” He managed to bring out. “No, it’s okay.. I just wanted to know what shirt I should wear..” Hailey held up two shirts, grinning a bit. Brian smiled back, with a finger softly turning Sophia’s head. “Look, there’s your mummy and like a true woman she has no idea what to wear. And that’s when we show up. Because we might seem to be a bit dominated by them, we sure as hell know what looks sexy on them” Sophia let out a soft squeal, moving her little hands. “I know Princess, I know. Your mum is making it hard for us” Hailey laughed, walking towards them. “Don’t you dare listen to her young lady! You’re a girl, you’re going to be just like momma.” She chuckled, poking Sophia softly in her belly, making her let out another squeal. Brian smiled, kissing Sophia’s head. “I think you should go for the red one, Johnny will think you’re hot in it” Smiling back, Hailey put the shirt over her head. “You miss her, don’t you?” “I sure as hell do” Brian spoke back, looking into the face of his daughter. “Sure as hell” “Why don’t you.. Try to get in touch or something?” Hailey tried, standing next to Brian. “Doesn’t have to be just the two of you, maybe we can go out with the guys and me, and maybe even little Phia” Thinking about it, Brian slowly shook his head. “She had asked me to wait for her. So I’ll wait until she contacts me” The doorbell rung, making the three of them jump up. “I’m not done yet!” Hailey chuckled, storming off to her bedroom again. “Brian! Open the door!” “Yeah yeah” Brian mumbled, looking at his daughter. “You know who that is? He’s not your daddy, okay?” By the time he had said that, Brian was standing by the front door. “I don’t wanna be her dad Brian, now open up” Johnny’s voice came form the other side. Smiling, while opening the door Brian decided to tickle his daughter once again, laughing at the small squeals she made, and the way she’d try to fight back. “The two of you look great together” Johnny smiled to his friend, happy everything between the two of them worked out well. He didn’t want to think about him and Brian fighting, not even if it would be about Michelle. Having to know her longer then Brian did, Michelle meant a lot to Johnny, but he wouldn’t give up his friendship, his career as a band member up for anyone in the world. “Sankk yooo” Brian yelled, running thru the house with his daughter in the air, making her believe she was an airplane. “I love you little girl, just as much as I love my other girl. But I promise I won’t fuck this up” He whispered as he put his daughter close to him again. “I promise” “Brian, we’re going” Hailey whispered after a while, walking up to him. “Listen, I think.. Maybe you should call Michelle tonight. Maybe she wants to come over or Something” “Okay have fun” Brian turned to the window, looking over a part of the beach. He missed the helpless look from Hailey to Johnny, whom just shrugged back, offering her his hand. “We’ll see you tonight, and think about it Brian” He said, together with Hailey walking away.
