Forgotten Faces

Mia´s POV

I was in the bathroom trying to fix my make up as good as I could with my hands shaking so bad. I was so nervous it would be the first time to see Brian and all the others again.
I was wearing my new black skirt and the new blue halter neck- top. I styled my hair high on my head with only a few curly strands of hair falling down the sides.
When I was satisfied I stepped out of the bathroom.
Heather, Jimmy and Matt were already waiting for me. Matt had brought his change of clothes here. I think he was afraid that I would back down and wouldn’t come.

Matt´s POV

My breath caught in my throat when I saw Mia approach from the bathroom. How could Brian be such an idiot and let her go. She was absolutely beautiful. I gave him the chance to think about his decision throughout the last months. But still he didn’t give any sign to want her back. I think today, I will finally make my move. I know it won’t be the easiest thing for Brian to see her with me, if things between us would work out but why should I stay back anymore?!
Ok, so I made up my mind today – “What do you think Matt? Are you still with us?” Heather looked at me in question. “What I think about…?”
“About Mia´s Outfit… you are staring but not saying anything.”
“Oh… oh you look fantastic. You will be… you two will be the most beautiful girls in that club! Am I right, Jimmy?!”
“Ah… well yes. That is what I already said like 5 minutes ago. But yes.” Jimmy shook his head in amusement.

Mia´s POV

We were on the guest list from the club and were led to the private area in the back. Zacky and Gena and some other people I recognized from the last party were already waiting for us. Zacky gave me a hug, “Good to see you again. He is not here, yet.”
“Oh… I wasn’t looking…” Zacky smiled at me. “It´s ok. It’s never easy to meet the ex again. Come on let us sit down.”
Gena was such a lucky girl to have a nice guy like him as a boyfriend.
After 2 Beer and a couple of shots the alcohol began to kick in and I really had fun.
I went with Jimmy, Heather and Gena to the dance floor.

Brian´s POV

I was late but that was on purpose. I wanted to have a good look who was already there and who was missing. As far as I could see everybody was there some drinking in the back and some dancing.
My gaze always drifted to the dance floor where Mia was dancing with Gena. Sometimes even Zacky was with them laughing and dancing. I haven’t seen him on the dance floor before.
Heather and Jimmy were slow dancing to an upbeat song. I stifled a laugh.
I went over to the bar greeted some of the other people and ordered a beer. That was when I saw Matt heading over to the dance floor. Mia was standing with her back to him. He wrapped his arms around her waist. She looked behind her and slapped him on the chest with a smile on her lips.
I stood up from the bar and went over to the private area where everybody could see that I had arrived.
After hugging and greeting everybody and doing some small talk I sat down in the corner next to Johnny.
