It’s been a few months since I had Payson and now we’re waiting on Madison to have her son, she’s a few days late and Brian’s really worried so they’re at the doctors right now while Jimmy, Payson and I are at Val and Matt’s talking about wedding plans.
“So where do you two want to go on your honeymoon at?” Val asked
“Pshh you know Canada.” Jimmy laughed
Matt choked on his water and Val’s face froze.
“I’m kidding guys. We were thinking Rome or Paris.” Jimmy said
“We went to Greece.” Matt said
“I think you should do Paris.” Val said
“Paris or Rome baby?” Jimmy asked
“Paris.” I said
“Paris it is.” Jimmy said
Val and I disused what the wedding colors would be and they are Dark Blue, Dark Purple and White. My dress will be white, Jimmy will be in a black tux with a Dark Purple Vest, the boys will be in balck tuxes and Dark Blue Vests, my girls will be in either dark Blue or Dark purple half and half. The maid of honor is Val, and the Bridesmaids are Madison, Gena, and Lacey. Jimmy’s best-man will be Brian he just hasn’t asked and the groomsmen are Matt, Zacky, and Johnny.
“Wedding to remember.” Matt said
I smiled and then my phone started ringing. I got up and handed Payson to Jimmy and grabbed my phone. “Hey Madison how’d the appointment go?” I asked
“Hey it went pretty good.” She said
“So what happened?” I asked
“Well it went great and we were walking out of the hospital when I felt like this pressure release and then Brian went to get my doctor and he said that my water broke so I’m in a hospital room.” Madison said
“Oh shit.” I said
“Is she okay?” Val asked
“We’ll be there in a few.” I said “Okay. You can come right in okay?” She said
“Okay.” I said
“Hey is she okay?” Val asked again
“She went into labor as she was leaving the hospital.” I said
“Oh shit. Let’s get going.” Jimmy said
I nodded and grabbed Payson and put her in the car seat.
“Brian becomes a father soon.” Matt said
“I know.” Jimmy said smiling
Jimmy picked up the car seat and Val closed and grabbed the wedding binder thingy, Matt looked at her.
“We’re going to be in the waiting room for a while...... Don’t judge me.” She said
I laughed and grabbed the diaper bag.
“Here I’ll drop Payson off at my parents and come to the hospital, you go in the car with Val and Matt.” Jimmy said
“Okay.” I said
We all walked outside and to separate cars.
“Be careful okay?” I asked after I helped put Payson in the car.
“Carful is my middle name baby.” He said tucking the diaper bag on the floor.
“Actually it’s Owen.” Matt said
“Okay Charles.” Jimmy said
I rolled my eyes.
“I’ll see you in a half an hour.” He said
“I love you. Be careful.” I said
“I love you too and I always am.” He said kissing my forehead.
He pulled away and I pulled his face down to mind and kissed his lips.
“You two aren’t going to be away from each other forever. Come on.” Matt said
“Let them be Mattie.” Val said
I laughed and pulled away.
“See you later.” I said
“You too beautiful.” He said getting into his car.
I smiled and walked over to Val and Matt.
“Shot gun.” I said
“It’s my car!” Matt whined
“Technically it’s mine. In the back babe.” Val said smiled
Matt huffed like a seven year old and got into the back, I laughed and got into the passenger side next to Val. Val started to drive towards the hospital and Matt kept huffing.
“Are you that upset that you are sitting in the back?” I asked
“Yes.” He mumbled.
“Oh my god.” Val said
“I’m older.” Matt whined
“Are you going to continue to whine the entire ten minute drive?” I asked
“Yes.” He said
I groaned and undid my seatbelt.
“What are you doing?” Val asked
I climbed over the middle part of the little car and got into the back.
“Go.” I said buckling my seatbelt.
Matt smiled and got up front.
“Are you fucking serious Matt?” Val asked
“I’m fucking serious.” Matt laughed
“I have no words for you.” Val said
I laughed and we finally pulled into the hospital parking lot and we parked. I was the first one into the hospital because Val and Matt were arguing.
“Madison Locke.” I said at the counter.
“Third floor room 209.” She said
“Thank you. How’s your baby doing Brayden?” She asked
“She’s great.” I said as I was walking away
I walked to the elevator and pushed the button, when it opened it revealed a couple on the verge of fucking each other. They split apart embarrassed and I walked on.
“What floor?” The guy asked
“Three.” I said
He pushed the button and the elevator started to go up.
“Why in the elevator?” I asked
“What?” The guy asked
“Why go at it in an elevator?” I asked
“It’s the thrill. Are you married?” The girl asked
“Engaged.” I said
“Is he boring?” She asked
“Far from it. He’s in a band.” I said The elevator clicked past floor two.
“What band? Are they well known?” She asked
“Avenged Sevenfold, he’s the drummer and they are very well known.” I said
“No way.” She said
The doors opened on my floor and I sprinted off to Madison’s room. I opened the door and peeked in.
“Hey guys.” I said
“Hey.” She said
“How are things going in here?” I asked
“Good. I’m in pain though.” She said
“You will be for many long hours. I’m going to wait out in the waiting room. You and Bri need to be alone for this.” I said
She nodded.
I walked into the Maternity waiting room and everyone but Jimmy was there.
“Are you going to be in there with her?” Lacey asked
I shook my head. “They need to be alone for this like I was.” I said
They all nodded.
Eventually Jimmy showed up.
“Mom said she’d watch her for as long as it took for Madison to have the baby.” He said kissing my forehead and sitting next to me.
Ten hours passed wen Brian came out.
“She’s going to start having the baby.” He said
“Good luck.” I said kissing his cheek
He nodded and ran back to her room.
“Ready or not here comes their baby.” Zacky said holding a sleeping Gena in his arms.
Jimmy was asleep on the floor in between my legs.
“How did he fall asleep like that?” Matt asked
“I’m guessing she was running his fingers through his hair.” Val said
I nodded.
Twenty minutes went by and Brian sent a mass text saying she had the baby and that we could come in and see him tomorrow. The next day I woke Jimmy up and all of went into her room. Madison looked exhausted but she had a blue bundle in her arms.
“Can I hold him?” I asked
She nodded and handed him to me. He had big brown eyes. We passed him around and Jimmy held him last.
“Hey little guy, I’m your uncle Jimmy.” He said
“What’s his name?” I asked
“Nathan Owen Haner.” Brian said
Jimmy smiled
“Middle name after Jimmy.” Madison said
“There is no way I’m giving my son the middle name Elwin.” Jimmy said
“What about Jamie. It’s mine.” Madison said
“I like that better.” He said
“Nathan Owen Haner. You have great parents.” I said
