"Jimmy!" I yelled up the stairs
"What woman?" He yelled back
"Come here! He's kicking!" I yelled
I heard him fall and he was racing down the stairs. Payson looked scared on the couch.
"P do you want to feel your baby brother?" I asked
She nodded and jimmy and I walked to her, I took her tiny hand and pushed it onto my tummy where he was kicking.
"When's he gong to be here?" She asked
"Three months. Are you excited?" Jimmy asked
She nodded and hugged my big tummy.
"I love you mommy." She said
"I love you too baby girl." I said
"Dada will you watch power puff girls with me?" She asked jimmy
"Give me five minutes so I can talk to mommy." He said
Payson nodded and plopped down on the sofa seat. I walked into the kitchen hand-in-hand with jimmy.
"What's up?" I asked getting a glass down from the cabinet.
"What are you doing today?" He asked
"I was going to hangout with my two other mamas." I said
"Gena and Madison?" He asked
"Yes, I want to hold her little Angel." I said
He laughed and kissed me.
"I love you." He said
"I love you too." I said
"Are you taking P?" He asked
"Do you want me to?" I asked
"Would it be better? So she's not constantly asking me why I'm packing." He asked
"Yeah, I'll take her. I'll see you to tonight." He said
"Okay." I smiled
I walked into the living room.
"Payson, do you want to come with mommy to see Nate?" I asked knowing she would
"YES!" She squealed
"Go get your shoes; I'll help you with them." I said
She smiled and ran upstairs to her room, I adjusted the laces on my chucks, they were old, and they were the exact pair the guys bought for me when they found me. They don't know I still have them.
"Mommy." Payson said taping my arm
I looked over and she held up her little chuck Taylor's. I took them from her and she sat down on the couch, I helped her with her shoes and we headed out the door.
"Bye baby!" I yelled as we left
"Bye bye." Jimmy yelled
I strapped Payson into the car seat thingy and I got into the driver’s seat. I pulled out of the driveway and drove towards Gena and Zacky's house. When I got there, Gena was playing in the yard with her daughter, she was a few months old but she loved outside.
"Gena!" I yelled pulling Payson out of the seat.
"Hi!" She yelled
I set Payson down on the ground and she ran all the way up the yard, past Gena and into the house.
"She loves that little boy so much she ran past her auntie Gena!" Gena yelled as I walked up to them.
"Hi Angel." I said picking up the baby out if her saucer thing.
She babbled at me
"She loves you." Gena said
"She better." I smiled kissing Angel on the forehead.
"Let's go see what type of shenanigans Payson and Nate are getting into in my living room." Gena smiled
I nodded and she grabbed the saucer and we walked into the house. Zacky was nowhere to be seen, Madison was on the floor with Payson who was crying.
"Baby girl what's the matter?" I asked putting Angel into the newly placed saucer.
"Nate pushed me I down." She cried
"Nathan." Madison scolded
"Mama." Nate said giving her innocent eyes
"Why did you push Payson over?" Madison asked
"Grandpa did it to grandma." Nate said
"What?" I asked
"Grandpa pushed grandma." Nate said
I looked at Madison and she looked fearful.
I nodded and picked Payson and tried to calm her crying I walked into the kitchen and out to the backyard.
"Baby calm down. He didn't mean to hurt you." I said
"I wit my head." She said
"On the floor?" I asked
She nodded
"Want mommy to kiss it and make it better?" I asked
She nodded again and I kissed the back of her head.
"Thank you." She said
"Wanna go play? Gena is in there, he won't push you over again." I said
She nodded and I set her inside the house and she ran into the living room, I sat down on the patio step and rubbed my six month baby belly.
"What are you thinking about?" Madison said coming to sit down next to me.
She rubbed her five month baby belly
"Are you still mad at me for not telling you about the baby?" She asked
I took her hand
"No Maddie, you are my best friend I couldn't stay mad at you for that. I'm going to have my baby boy and then a month later you're going to have your girl. It's exciting. I'm just thinking about what Nate said about Papa Gates and my mom." I said
"I think you should talk to them." She said
"I will. You freaking out about Brian leaving?" I asked
"It's only two weeks. What can happen?" She smiled
"I'm excited for them. They get to go on a little tour without Matt, Zacky, and Johnny, those three will be at a meeting for Avenged while our boys are playing with Pinkly Smooth." I smiled
"They're going to have so much fun." Madison said
I smiled and rubber her tummy.
"MOMMY COME PLAY!" Nate yelled
"That's our call." I said
Madison smiled and she got up and then helped me up. When we walked inside Angel was asleep in the saucer, Nate and Payson were playing Legos and Gena looked exhausted.
“Gena are you okay?” I asked
“I’m just so tired and now Zacky is going to be gone for a week so I am going to be all on my own.” She said
“Gena you can come stay at my house.” I said
She smiled at me.
“I’ll think about it. Is it time for Disney movies yet?” She asked
I nodded.
The night went on and we watched a fuck ton of Disney movies and Payson and I went home around eight. I carefully carried in a sleeping Payson into the house and straight to her room, when I walked back downstairs I noticed the bags by the front door. I walked into the kitchen and Jimmy was looking in the freezer, he was just in pajama pants, I walked up behind him and hugged him from behind.
“Hi baby.” He said closing the freezer door and pulling me in front of him.
“I missed you today.” I said
“I missed you too. I actually had a visitor.” He said
“Who?” I asked
“Papa Gates.” He said
“I have to talk to him.” I said
“Why?” He asked
“Nate pushed Payson down today and he said he did it because grandpa pushed grandma over.” I said
Jimmy opened his mouth and closed it a few times thinking of something to say, I just pulled his face to mine and kissed him.
“I love you.” I said
“I love you too baby girl.” He said
“You’re going to call me when you’re with Pinkly Smooth right?” I asked
“Duh.” He smiled
“Want to go to bed?” I asked
“Yeah.” He said
“Let’s go.” I smiled
He took my hand and we walked upstairs.
“Get rid of those chucks.” He said as I took my shoes off
“No.” I said
“They’re falling apart.” He said
“They’re really freaking special.” I said
“Why?” He asked
“The first time I put them on was my first time on Avenged’s tour bus.” I said
“But the first time you actually stayed on the bus was…. Oh.” He said
“They were the ones you guys bought me.” I smiled
He smiled and I pulled my clothes off and put some of his on.
“Night baby.” I said
“Night.” He said
It was about an hour after he said night and I was about asleep when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
“Yeah baby?” I asked
“I can’t sleep.” He said
“Baby you are going to be really tired tomorrow.” I said
“I know, but I can’t sleep.” He said
I rolled onto my back and he was leaning up on his elbow.
“Head.” I said patting my chest.
He moved around so he could lay his head on my chest
“What are you thinking about?” I asked starting to run my hands though his hair.
“Nothing bad, I don’t know why I can’t sleep.” He said
“Are you nervous?” I asked
“I don’t think so. I’ve don’t this so many times. I mean I know I’m excited because it’s with Pinkly Smooth and not Avenged because I miss Pinkly Smooth.” He said
“Are you worried about anything?” I asked
“Just what I always worry about; you.” He said
“Why?” I asked
“I’m leaving and you’re pregnant.” He said
“You’ll be gone for two weeks and I have three months to go. Nothing is going to happen. Baby, I’m going to be okay and I will call you if something happens.” I said
He nodded and I continued to run my hands through his hair and scratch his scap, he eventually fell asleep. I waited five minutes before I gently moved his head back to his pillow, I kissed his forehead and pulled the covers up and went to sleep.
“Baby girl wakey ,wakey.” I heard in my ear.
I ignored it and wiped my ear, I knew it was Jimmy but I didn’t want to get up. He decided to kiss my neck and shoulders.
“I’m up.” I said turning on my back.
“Good morning beautiful.” He said
“Morning handsome.” I said
He smiled
“What time is it?” I asked
“Five-Thirty.” He said
“You don’t leave until seven Jimmy.” I said
“I know. I wanted to spend some time with you.” He said
I smiled and he leaned over me and kissed me.
“I love you.” I said when he pulled away.
“I love you too. How did I get to sleep last night?” He asked
“I did what I always do.” I said
He looked at me confused. I took my hands and started to scratch his scalp again.
“Oh, that’s how you do that.” He said
I nodded and winked at him.
“I like it when you do that.” He said
“Yeah?” I asked
He nodded and I smiled.
“Jimmy.” He said
“Yeah?” He asked
“You’re smelly.” I said
“I’m Rathead I’m supposed to stink.” He said
“No baby, you will not stink.” I said
“Come shower with me.” He said
“I showered yesterday.” I said
“Then stand there.” He said
“Fine.” I said
I pulled the blankets off of me and we went into the bathroom.
“You are really hyper for five-forty in the morning.” I said
“I know.” He said
I took off my clothes and he was already in the shower.
After we showered I was sitting on the couch as Jimmy was in the kitchen. It was about six-fifteen and I was waiting to wake Payson up. There was a knock on the door.
“I got it Bray.” Jimmy said walking into the living room and to the door.
“Hey Papa.” Jimmy said
I looked up at the door and Papa Gates was smiling at me.
“Oh no you don’t.” I said
I got up and pushed him through the house and into the backyard.
“What is wrong?” He asked
“Did you push my mom when you had Nate over?” I asked
“What?” He asked
“Did you push my mother?” I asked
“Only once.” He said
“Once?” I asked
“Thrice.” He said
“WHY?!” I yelled
“She pushed me.” He said
“I don’t care!” I yelled
“I know it was wrong. I apologized and we got through the fight.” He said
“Papa.” I said
He raised his eyebrows.
“Do you not remember what she went through with my dad? I know I’m am so mad at the woman for hitting me but I do not want to hear that you pushed her again. Understand?” I asked almost yelling
He nodded and I looked up at him.
“I’m sorry sweetheart.” He said
“Just don’t do it again.” I said
He nodded.
Time flew and Jimmy, Payson and I were at the airport, we said our goodbyes and watched his plane take off and then we headed home.
It’s been a week since the guys left and I have literally heard nothing from Madison, I picked my phone up getting ready to call her when the door opened and she was standing there crying.
“Maddie.” I said
She walked in and closed the door; she walked to me and collapsed into my arms.
“Baby what’s wrong?” I asked petting my best friends hair
“She’s gone.” She said
“Who?” I asked
She looked down and I noticed her stomach was much flatter than the last time I saw her.
“Maddie.” I said
“She’s gone.” She cried out loudly.
Loud enough to wake Payson from her slumber.
“Auntie Madison what’s wrong?” She asked
“When did you find out?” I asked
“Yesterday.” She cried
“Why didn’t you come to me?” I asked
“I couldn’t.” She said
“Does he know?” I asked
“No.” She said
“We’ve got to tell him.” I said
She held me tightly and cried
“Payson Aunt Madison is having a hard time, we will talk to you about it after daddy gets home.” I said
She nodded and returned to her room.
“I can’t. I can’t do this. She’s gone, I loved her so much!” Madison screamed
I rubbed her back and her hair and she calmed a bit. I handed her, her phone and she called Brian.
