I listened to Val yell at Jimmy after she came up to talk to me. I told her not to. I sat there crying for a few hours, and I heard nothing from downstairs and I couldn’t sleep I got up and crept downstairs, Jimmy was on the couch, I didn’t know if he was asleep or not but I needed him. I walked over and sat on the floor by his face.
“I’m sorry.” I whispered running my fingers through his hair.
“Don’t apologize. I shouldn’t have done it.” He mumbled pushing into my and.
“Can I come up?” I asked
He patted the couch behind him and I climbed behind him and he wrapped his arms around me.
“Brayden, I am so fucking sorry. I fucked up, I was so mad and I wasn’t thinking.” He said
“You scared me; I think I would have been okay if you hadn’t raised your fist.” I said
He squeezed me harder.
“I know I wasn’t thinking but that’s not an excuse for my actions.” He said voice cracking.
“It’s okay Jimmy just please try not to do it again.” I said
“I won’t babe. I will never ever ever hit you.” He said
“I know you wouldn’t Jim. Are you still mad?” I asked
“Not about what I was I’m more mad at myself.” He said
Damn it why was it dark, he sounded like he was in tears. I moved my hands and found his neck; I moved them and wiped the tears from his face. I couldn’t take him in tears. I moved and straddled him.
“Bray?” He asked
“Please stop crying.” I said leaning down to his face
“I’m not.” He said
I wiped under his eyes and removed more tears.
“What was that then?” I asked
“Nothing.” He said
I put my finger on his lips so I could find them with mine. I connected out lips and he kissed back after a few hesitant seconds. He pulled away.
“You should be mad at me.” He said
“I was, I’m not anymore.” I said
He chuckled and pulled my face to his and kissed me. After we pulled away I laid on top of him and he just held me.
“I love you.” I mumbled into his neck
“That tickled.” He said
I laughed and decided to leave my mark on his neck. After a while I probably left a few.
“Bruising around my handcuffs?” He asked
“Mhmm.” I hummed
I snuggled into him still laying on top of him.
“I love you and I’m sorry.” He said kissing the top of my head.
“I love you too baby and it’s okay.” I said
We snuggled together.
“I’m sorry about Val I told her not to.” I said
“It needed to happen.” He said
After a while I figured Jimmy was asleep so I tried to get up.
“You’re not going anywhere.” He laughed.
“Can I go get a blanket?” I asked
“Yeah. Do you plan on sleeping on top of me?” He asked
“Yes.” I smiled knowing he couldn’t see it.
I walked upstairs and grabbed out blanket and the baby monitor, I went back downstairs and he pulled me on top of him.
“Bed time with my wife.” He said
“Bed time with my husband.” I said
I cuddled into his chest and we fell asleep.
I woke up and the room felt different and Jimmy wasn’t there. I wasn’t home, where was I?
