Free Falling

Chapter Seven

I woke up the next day, trying to remember the awful dream I had the night before. I let my wings stretch before standing up, myself. I dreamed that Avenged Sevenfold came to my house and that Matt was my biological father. I shook my head, knowing that it was complete and utter nonsense. Walking into the hallway I saw the door to the dining room was closed, which was actually kind of weird. Opening the door, I tripped a couple steps into the room, my wings flying out in attempt to catch my balance, which didn't happen, so I fell in a crumpled heap of feathers. I got up groaning a little. I was trying to not make a lot of noise, because I actually wanted breakfast and it wasn't too easy getting breakfast with a little one that wants constant attention.

Looking over I saw I had tripped over Jimmy and fell directly onto Brian Haner, who was laying on the floor, looking at me scared. Damn! It wasn't a dream. I had probably scared him when my wings flew out. "Sorry," I whispered, getting up again, and walking towards the kitchen. I now felt a little self-concious in my grey Coca-Cola sweatpants and white tank top that I wore to bed. I looked up once I arrived into the kitchen to see Alex and Karla wrestling over who got to use the toaster first.

Rolling my eyes I got out a fry pan, a slice of bread, an egg and a cookie cutter, because I'm just that awesome and don't need a toaster. "Want Toad in a Hole?" I asked them, while cutting a hole into the bread, then buttering both sides. I then turned the stove top on while cracking the egg so it landed inside the hole in the bread. Karla and Alex looked at me for a couple seconds then shrugged. "Sure."

"You're cookings amazing anyways," Alex gushed, as she went into one of the multiple tupperware containers on the counter and pulled out a cookie. Chuckling a little at her, I saw Johnny coming into the kitchen, smiling at what I knew was about to happen.

As I had predicted, Karla rushed up to him, making him take a couple steps back. "So," Karla started out, bashfully, That's even possible for her? I thought, incrediously. "Sorry for not having my fan girl moment last night." Karla continued, making me smirk slightly. "So here we go...Oh my God! It's Johnny Fucking Christ! I'm your biggest fan! I absolutly love you, and I mean love you,"

At hearing Karla gush to a rockstar like this Alex and I began cracking up, making Karla blush all the more. "Don't let your boyfriend hear that," I smirked into the frying pan, as I added two more buttered pieces of toast to it.

Karla walked over to me and sat on the floor, just to annoy me. Alex following suit soon after. "Quit staring at me or I'll eat your breakfast," I growled, making them avert their eyes, while giggling.

Next I saw Matt walk into the kitchen, sniffing the air. "Something smells good," he smiled showing his dimples. Karla saw this and jumped up, getting ready to have another "fan girl moment".

"Heel Karla!" I scolded, flipping the bread over, making sure to keep the egg intact while doing so.

Karla dejectedly sat back down on the floor as she looked up at me, pouting. I rolled my eyes, "Have I even told you guys why they're even here?"

Alex and Karla shook their heads no, and leaned in closer to me ready to suck in whatever I told them. Smiling a little I nodded my head towards Matt. "That guy there, well he's my biological father,"

Karla gasped and made to get up again. "Sit!" I scolded once more, this time she chose to ignore me and jumped up grabbing me from behind to turn me so I was facing her.

"What do you mean M. Shadows is your father?" I could see the excitement in her eyes.

"That's exactly what I mean," I laughed. "Now if you excuse me...I'm making your breakfast."

"Fine, but we talk later,"

"Fine," I smirked back into the fry pan, then looked up to see Matt looking at me, probably wondering why I hadn't introduced my friends properly yet. I nodded towards him. "The one wearing the black hoody is Alex, and the short one is Karla," I ducked as Karla took a swing at me for calling her short, making me laugh.

"I'm not short," she pouted crossing her arms giving me her puppy dog eyes. "I'm fun-sized," She instantly perked up upon saying this making everyone laugh a little.

"Who else wants food?" I asked as more of the guys came into the kitchen. The guys all grumbled some form of yes, probably still half asleep. I saw Karla's eyes light up as she saw the rest of the guys up close. "Heel," I commanded making her pout once again. "Don't scare them just yet, you want Johnny to stick around don't you?" I teased.

Karla smiled a small evil grin and gave her all too signature evil laugh, making Alex and I exchange looks. You get first watch I thought towards Alex, making her nod, then start to follow Karla as she followed Johnny into the living room.

"Matthew," I said, taking Matt's attention away from my friends. "We need to talk about this tour thingy,"

"Okay, what do you want to talk about?" Matt asked, leaning against the counter as he watched me making food for all of the guys.

"What all will we be doing?" I stretched out my wings slightly feeling a kink coming on, then laid them back against my back.

Matt didn't answer right away, probably staring at my wings. "Well the guys and me would be singing, and you could help with the merchandise stand if you'd like,"

"What about Hazel?" I asked, my tone softening a little when I said her name.

"What about her?" Matt asked obviously confused.

I smirked a little. "Obviously you're not certain as to how old she is. She's only barely a year old and still can't exactly take care of herself. Granted she's somewhat ahead of her class smarts wise, because of some type of mutating gene, but it's not like I can just leave her on the bus. She needs a babysitter or someone to take care of her."

"Maybe some of the girls could watch her. You could all take turns watching her and coming to the concerts," Matt suggested.

I stared into the fry pan watching the eggs bubble before I turned them. "I want to meet them first," I said after a pause. "When would we be leaving?"

"I was thinking Friday,"

I shook my head, "Could it be Sunday?" I looked towards him to see his uncertainty on his face. "I have prior obligations that I really shouldn't miss,"

"What kind of prior obligations?" Matt asked, his hand rubbing his chin.

"My boyfriends birthday," I stated, as I plated the food and took it into the dining room so we could all eat.

Notes

So, sorry this took forever to post. I've been obnoxiously busy. Work picked up and I still need to complete my homework assignments and I have to get my school scheduale in so I can sign up for books. -_- and Christmas is becoming draining, gotta clean the house, get the tree up and the decorations, and then start planning New Years and get the menu planned for that. So in otherwords...please excuse any lateness of chapters and enjoy this chapter.
