My Time To Shine
It feel so fucking awesome to not have to hobble around with damn crutches! I can actually walk like a normal person and I'm so loving it! Tomorrow Matt is picking me up and taking me on tour with him and I'm so excited but also nervous once again. My class was very small when I sang in front of them but now I'm going to have to sing in front of thousands of people. I hate when my nerves get the best of me. I sat in bed with the lamp on beside me looking at some of the songs that I had written. I knew I wouldn't have remembered those songs I wrote for Matt's class so I made a few copies of them. I scanned over the words and I knew I needed to study all of them in case the crowds wanted more. I put my lyrics beside me on the night table and turned off the lamp. It didn't take long before I feel asleep.

I woke up to Sabrina shaking my lightly and I opened my eyes to the semi dark room.
"What?" I asked groggily.
"Time to get up. Matt will be here in about an hour."
"Alright." I said sitting up and stretching my arms above my head.
"I have breakfast waiting on you downstairs."
"Okay I'll be there in a few." I said rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I heard the door shut and I got up and grabbed some clothes and went into the bathroom to take a real fucking shower.
The warm water felt so relaxing as I washed off myself and my hair. I finished the well rejuvenating shower and started drying myself off. I felt so much better and I was so much more awake than I was 20 minutes ago. I dressed into my black skinny jeans and a Avenged Sevenfold t-shirt and left the bathroom with my clothes. I packed my pajama's into my bag and slipped on some shoes before taking my bag with me downstairs. I sat my things in the hall right outside the kitchen. Sabrina was sitting a the table reading the paper. I seen my food on the stove and I grabbed a plate and sat down with her and began eating.
"I wish you were coming with us Sabrina." I said putting my plate into the sink.
"I do too but I got to work."
"Speaking of that. When I get back, I'd like to come back to work at the diner." I said sitting back down.
"I'll talk to Donny about it. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to know that you want to come back. I swear April is driving him insane." She laughed and I could just picture April talking Donny's ears off which in turn made me laugh. The door busted open and I literally stood to my feet ready to fight. Jimmy came around the corner and sighed deeply.
"What?"
"Jimmy you need to learn how to knock. You got Butayne all in defensive mode." Sabrina said shaking her head.
"Sorry about that mom." I sat back down and finished eating the food Sabrina had prepared for me. I saw Jimmy's hand coming ever so slowly to my plate and I slammed the fork down between his fingers.
"Wow! That was awesome! Perfect aim!"
"What are you talking about? I missed." I said smirking as I stood up and put the plate and fork into the sink. Jimmy had the look of shock on his face and I couldn't help but laugh. The rest of the guys came into the room and Jimmy literally jumped into Johnny's arms.
"Jimbo, what are you doing." Johnny was straining to keep Jimmy in his arms.
"She tried to kill me with a fork!" Jimmy said and they all looked at me.
"What? He tried to steal my food." I said shrugging my shoulders. Johnny dropped Jimmy to the floor with a THUD and everyone started laughing even Sabrina.
"You got everything?"
"Yeah packed the last of it last night." I said smiling and helping Jimmy off the floor.
"Where's your bags?"
"In the hall." I said sitting back down with Sabrina. I watched Matt leave the kitchen and pass by as they took my bag out to the tour bus. I looked out the window at the huge bus and it probably had everything on it.
"Butayne! We got to go!"
"Coming!" I yelled back.
"That's what she said!" Jimmy responded back as he ran out the door. I just shook my head. This is going to be a long, but enjoyable, tour with the guys. I wrapped my arms around Sabrina and hugged her tightly.
"Now don't worry. The guys will keep you safe."
"I know. You stay safe while I'm gone." I said smiling as I pulled away from her.
"I will. Now get your ass out there and have the best time of your life." I nodded and ran out to the bus. I looked around the bus and the plopped my ass right down on the couch. The bus began to move and I looked out and watched Sabrina waving to us as we left. I'm going to miss her.
