Overcome
After hearing my uncle cuss me out about doing that shit, I stayed in my room with the door locked not wanting to see or talk to anyone. I was pissed and nothing could make me come out. Everyone was texting me and I never answered. Until they quit treating me like I'm a little kid, I'll come back out of my room. I haven't cut anymore and I don't understand why my uncle Ivan bitched me out like that. I heard a knock on my door.
"Go away." I said coldly.
"Rage it's me Ivan. Please let me in. I want to talk to you." I got out of bed sighing and unlocked the door. I stepped away from the door and walked back over to my bed laying down. He shut the door and sat down on the edge of my bed.
"I'm sorry Rage for yelling at you. I mean I didn't know you quit. Brian explained to me that you haven't done anything to yourself and I'm very sorry for thinking that you did it again. Please forgive me?" I sat up and pulled my uncle into me. I hugged him tightly and I felt him chuckle.
"I guess you forgive me?" I just nodded. He breathed in deeply and just held me to him. I looked up at him and kissed his cheek. He smiled and kissed my forehead.
"You want to go downstairs with the others?"
"Yeah....I need some time with all of you." I said and he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room. We went downstairs and Jimmy was the first person to see me and he picked me up hugging me to his chest. I could feel his body heat and it warmed me up. I closed my eyes as his death hug engulfed me. He set me back on my feet and everyone else pulled me into one giant hug squishing me. I couldn't help but laugh.
"I think someone needs more cheering up." Jimmy said wiggling his eyebrows. I raised mine as they all let go of me and came towards me. I backed up and hoped to God they weren't going to do what I was thinking. They all rushed towards me and started tickling.
I tried my hardest to get away but they had me pinned to the ground in a giggling fit. Each one of them got off and helped me to my feet. We sat around the rest of the day just watching random shit on TV and movies that came on. Jimmy was imitating everyone in the room. He made fun of poor Johnny and I sat down beside him hugging him sideways. He kissed the top of my head.
"Jimmy might call you a gnome but you're one adorable gnome." I said laughing and he glared at me. I smiled innocently and he rolled his eyes and shook his head. I laughed and so did everyone else. Today was a very good day and I knew I had overcome the feelings of the past. I was free from the hurt and I had a family who loved me for me...

Over the next few years Avenged Sevenfold was bigger than ever. My relationship with my uncles had grown stronger and they always took me on their tours with them but I was more happy when I arrived back home to my dad and other uncles. I loved them all. I hope my life stays this way foREVer and never changes. I don't what I would do if I ever lost any of them....
